  1. I have a question to the sim developers (ED staff) - did you guys at least pick any aircraft for the next DCS module yet? Or it's still an open choise for you?
  2. Well I've tried Wings Over Israel for couple of hours and IMHO - yes, it will do the job. It's fun to play and little less complex than LOMAC, but way ahead from arcade games like HAWX. The graphics are not that bad - The terrain is awful from low altitudes, but if you fly high it's OK. The clouds are little terrible too. The 3d models of the planes however are really good, even some are better than the old stock models of LOMAC. Give it a try, you won't regret.
  3. Looking good. Hope you do the same good work with the textures, as you did with the modeling. I really love the new 3d pits, which are build by the comunity. Brigns so much fresh life to the sim. Keep up the good work guys.
  4. Great photos, thank you for sharing. Here's a nice vid I found:
  5. ^yep, secret solved.
  6. Hi folks, I was checking out the Pak-Fa thread at Keypublishing forums, when I found these five screenshots from an unidentified sim: Looks pretty good. I wonder which sim are these taken from?
  7. 10x, Sobek. If someone could post some screenies from Nevada terrain, that would be awesome.
  8. wait, wat? ED is making full 3d 6 dof pit for Su-25? From where did you heard that?
  9. Great work as always GA, thank you for your work. Now I can't wait to play DCS: A-10C even more. And a little criticism - you are using way too much shakey camera in some scenes and it's becomeing hard to watch. About the sim: the water and the lighting effects looks amazing, the sun glare is very cool too, but the old explosions are way too boring. Hope ED makes something about them (parts and mud thrown in the air, shockwaves, etc.).
  10. Great work!
  11. Hi all, for some time now, I have to play FC2 on my laptop without a joystick. First I thought it will be ok, since I used to play LockOn 1.0 with keyboard only and I used to handle it very well. But since the first patches, the gameplay with the keyboard was somehow ruined. Pitching up and down with the arrow keys become like trimming and much more complicated to control the aircraft since I had to trim all the time. The most irritating thing is ground attacks, it's pain in the a** to aim at a ground targets. So, do somebody know how to make the control with a keybord the same way as it was with LockOn 1.0?
  12. There's one forum member - OnePride at the russian section that is building 3d pit. You can see his work here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=56137
  13. Anyone care to answer my questions?
  14. A quick question about the new and improved AI units: What about the new models of Mi-26 and C-17 that had threads in the 3D Models section of the forum? They look awesome, isn't it possible to be integrated in DCS: A-10? Is this the final list of new aircraft units/improved 3d models? There were also new models for the sea fleet, what about them?
  15. Hi there Viper101. Is it possible to make this joint pack to include also TOMCATZ's Mig-29 model? You can find it in this thread: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=52499 I and also many other people think that it's a great model, and it deserves his place next to the other "big players" :). Hope also TOMCATZ is OK with this...
  16. Hi folks, I'm trying to install this great model with modman 7.3 in FC 2.0 but without any success yet :(. It's still the good ol' low poli model in the game... Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
  17. ${1} That will be cool, if featured in DCS: A-10 in some form.
  18. Hi there Michelange, hope this helps for Bulgarian Air Force: http://www.virtual-jabog32.de/index.php?section=downloads&subcat=21&file=901&lang=en And list of aircraft that are (have been) in BuAF service: Still Active: Mig-29 Mig-21 Su-25 Mi-24 Mi-17 An-26 An-30 Retired: Mig-23 Mig-23BN (Mig-27) Mig-25 Su-22 (17) Squadron Patches: Mig-29 Graf Ignatievo Patch: Su-25 Bezmer Air Base: 1st Squadron - "Krotal" 2-nd squadron: Lots of other patches here: http://www.airgroup2000.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1353
  19. Thank you mvsgas. Here's a quick preview of how the A-10's pit could be retextured: Any suggestions and ideas are very welcome.
  20. ^ yep I thought of that too, even found a great image of block 10 pit in the Russian section of the forum: http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=32333&stc=1&d=1255633491 It won't be 100% accurate but it will bring the same feeling. I only need to know how to extract the textures of A-10's cockpit
  21. @ topol-m: So basically if I use A-10 pit there will be no air-to-air mode (except Sidewinders) and if I use F-15 pit - no Air-to-Ground mode is that right? @ rattler - I know that it's not possible to redesign the cockpit yet, just editing the textures for now. Can you give me a link to your cockpit mod and I'll see what I can do about it. What worries me is that Mig-29's cockpits have poor visibility so it won't be that realistic. Is it possible not to put textures to some objects in the cockpit so that they can look transparent?
  22. ^ efa mod is cool but you still have to fly with different cockpit. Is anybody doing a f-16 cockpit for FC 2.0? If not maybe I can make one (I'm a professional designer) but I have zero knowledge with coding. So If somebody is interested to help me that will be great! All I need is the texture files of the cockpit to be extracted so I can edit them with Photoshop. I think that the A-10 cockpit is pretty simmilar in shape with the F-16's. And you could use TV guidence for AGM-65's.
  23. 10x a lot Luse for the quick answer. Damn I was hoping so much for a such mod with some F-16 action...
