Ty for your kind reply re the second issue the game does not crash per say. but there is a save button when you leave a fbp mission. I asume that is to save the mission if you have not already when you press it the dialog box goes away and nothing seems to happ at all. The game no longer esponds to commands. I have never waited more than about 2 minutes, maybe if i would wait long enough I would get a save dialog box. I close lock in this case in the task manager. ty again, uhoh7

Getting back into lockon with my new system Athlon 64 3800+ Abit AV8 6800U Raptor Sata Raid 0 2 gig ram 1) minor, but I like to run 1600x1200x32. At first when i start it goes to 1024x768 for menus, then back to 1600x1200 for game. I change config to start in 1600x1200, but get distorted graphics loading both at first load and loading mission. Plays OK though no distortion. SHould I go back to 1024 for menu display? 2) using FBP, when I'm finished, and I just press save instead of exit. The games just sits there. Should i just not save? ty for help uhoh7

built my self a new rig that plays 1.02 very sweet so far. Training up to get back online. I was way into it from first release to just after 1.01 then RL intervened. But the sim is looking so good and all the 1.1 stuff is so exciting that I'm back. Do I need to set my connection speed to 56k? What else? ty sirs, uhoh 7

Great to see our coach, Mr shepski involved in 1.1 I built a new hig-end rig last month and am back into Lomac trying to remember my stick profiles hehe. 1.02 just looks great and flys well on my machine so far. Incredible to hear about the new Helo down the road as well. You guys can count on my business, whatever path you follow. The one suggestion I have for the long term is this, and I'm sure it is no surprise: I love the Russian aircraft, always have. But there are so many guys out their dying for a US AC to compete. This is a big deal for US future sales. So I very respectfully suggest that ED looks hard at various US AC, models etc and pick one that will be VERY competitive online with the Rus AC. Sure, in good hands the current F-15 is a threat online, but unless things have really changed, the SUs and Migs are just easier and more effective. Maybe that AC is some version of the F-18, I don't know. But such a path will pay for itself in bringing many new people to the sim. I'm not saying INSTEAD of russian AC like the T. It looks just awesome. But in the long run. Also please do your best to enhance online play and features. This is a real biggy for sales also.
