The other way (the way I prefer) is to have a large enough detonation that will flash a substantial portion of the object to gas which will generally move away in a vector perpendicular to the side of the object that is flashed. Again conservation of momentum does the rest. The reason I like this method the best is because it doesn't require a closest (read: more risky) rendezvous with the object. All that is required is a enormous detonation.

Don't know. Don't really care. Our national sports are Hurling and Gaelic Football. That's where most of the talent go. I've admired some of the soccer/footballers talent, but as a Sport, I always considered it a distraction for the working class, poor, unclean types. When's the last time you saw Rugby Hooligans or Rugby Ultras? ;)

The thing that gives Football a bad name and annoys the hell out of me is a lot of the Mediterranean players, Portuguese, Italians etc spend half the time prancing around the field, diving, jumping on the ground and rolling feigning injury. They'd make a Prima Ballerina blush with their shenanigans. The other thing is when they score a goal they run around like superman and have all their team jump on them like a bunch of nancies rubbing their heads and grabbing their balls and whatever else they get up to. Some of them seem like they slipped off the bicycle saddle a few times too much when they were younger.
