  1. You'll get used to it. You'll be able to ID it with a bit of practice you'll recognise straight away. Get killed enough times by them and it will come to you.
  2. Against specifically TOR's? I have no idea. They were used in 2008, I read. Against what I don't know, but some malfunctioned also and their wreckages were found.
  3. ^^ 2nd photo. Quick! Someone call Al Gore.
  4. In FC2.0, Kh-58U can be used against the TOR.
  5. Yeah. I saw it over at the squad forum, I remember now. Same author. Looks like it might be a compilation..
  6. Anyone know what that extra tower is for? (compared to the Kuz for example).
  7. ^^repost? or did I just see it somewhere else?
  8. Morons whoever made that stupid monument.
  9. Signup will likely be closed later today. Bump. :) http://www.104thphoenix.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=3634
  10. Ah I see the confusion. "If you pull this off" , means 'if you are successful'. It's an idiom. :) It IS the best idea there. http://idioms.thefreedictionary.com/pull+off
  11. @FLANKERATOR: The Chat lobby is the best idea I have seen there. If you pull this off, your site will be the place to hook up.
  12. Ah this is a Soccer thread. Soccer is a great game... a great distraction for the Working Class.
  13. :megalol::thumbup:
  14. If anyone starts causing problems, then, as it has always been the case, supply relevant track/Tacview to the 104th.
  15. Yep. Some of focus of many of those forums and blogs is Dell-Murray himself. :megalol:
  16. Ukraine declared itself a non nuclear state long time ago and entered into various agreements. Part of that agreement was to either destroy or transfer weapons and delivery platforms to the Russian Federation for economic benefits, at that time. Both the US and Russia have big interests in overseeing the destruction of these type of platforms. Unfortunetely it didn't stop Ukraine transferring missile technology to the likes of Iran and aircraft technology to China in the previous Corrupt administrations. But that's for another day... :smilewink:
  17. Great documentary Pilotasso. S! As for his wife, sure he forgot to bring back a litre of milk from the shops. :D
  18. If you were in the Ghey, in the situation you were in that day, you would have been dead. No doubt.
  19. I think those old turbojets were tuned to work best in the thick air. Once you get high, the top speed bleeds off. Even still, the 25A gets back up to 5-6Metric in no time after a pass. You need to send a memo to the Su-25T to get high, and it'll call you back. :D
  20. I remember many years ago reading an aviation opinion from a Western Pilot on Russian Combat Aviation. it was a fairly blunt opinion but it's stuck in my mind now for a long time. He said you can do 2 things in Russian Aircraft. 1) Fly Beautifully 2) Make War... but seldom both at the same time. A bit of an exaggeration, BUT, it reminds me of this comparison: I can make more 'war' with the Su-25T, but dammit if I have to fly it nicely aswell. The Su-25A I can make less 'war' with it, but I'll look better with my high speed, High sustained G manoeuvres. :D
  21. 'Course I have! Was watching 'Judge Judy' on the Shkval screen on a ferry flight the other night. :megalol: The Black and White display takes 10yrs off her.
  22. Yep. Now if you see a launch in the Ghey, or the 25T you might have a harder time. :)
  23. Damn. I didn't see that in the manual. :) What's a realistic payload for the Su-25T?
