  1. Well, that's exactly what I meant. At the moment I don't plan to spend my money in DCS, I haven't bought anything for a year now and will continue to do so until things are resolved.
  2. I think it's silly to take RB or ED's side, and who is to blame, well if that hasn't been resolved it's for a reason and it speaks for itself, but I think we are all to blame as a community for not demanding that both sides reach an agreement, for not taking any action to pressure them, the ones really affected by all this has been the DCS community.
  3. Well then we have nothing to talk about, I am aware of what ED and RB fanboys say and it is a childish and cowardly position, but you have to put that aside to get a clearer view of the situation.
  4. Clearly the legal dispute doesn't let you see beyond that, take some time to investigate about the projects that were planned, they are much more than a simple Mig-19. And about badmouthing RB people leave it to yourself, it doesn't help.
  5. As users we have been affected, in terms of losing the current RB modules it would be a disaster, but it is also a disaster to lose the modules that were projected to be developed in the future by Razbam.
  6. I hope at some point this issue between RB and ED will be resolved, I am in need of other weapons on the Eagle such as the Maverick and AGM-130. But I also hope it is Razbam that finishes the Eagle development, they were doing an excellent job.
  7. Take your time my friend, I'll be there to fly like old times.
  8. Hi, I heard that this server is coming back to life!
  9. Injured susceptibilities aside, I hope that the project will be taken up again at some point.
  10. I do not understand why so much restriction, NATO already knows in depth the characteristics of the Mig-29A, many of the air forces of the world have simulators where the Mig-29 is represented in a very realistic way (and other Russian fighters). Unnecessary schizophrenia haha.
  11. I would like to see another server made by Alpen, but I think it's too much to ask, in DCS there are very few servers that are worth it.
  12. Alpen thanks for everything, this server piqued my interest in Cold War scenarios.
  13. What is happening?
  14. It depends on the mission you are going to execute and the time you have to execute it. A forward base without external tanks is limited in the type of missions it can execute, especially if your aircraft do not have in-flight refueling. But I guess you've done it that way because you only need to hit close targets. I'll try to save fuel. Greetings my friend.
  15. Mirage iii Bo-105 A-29 Super Tucano F-8 Crusader
  16. The radar now works more efficiently, detecting targets at different altitudes and maintaining lock-on, making radar-guided missiles more effective. Another thing I have noticed is that the radar keeps detecting targets with the switch on standby.
  17. Heatblur people already thought about JA-37, but it seems that there are still a lot of documents and classified information. I can't use external fuel tanks on the Mirage F1, is it a bug?.
  18. I was flying the F1 and it feels very stable, even during dogfights, overall it feels good.
  19. It was happening to me before the patch but not now.
  20. I once heard a Kfir pilot say that you had to be careful with the wake of the missile, because the engine could shut down. I think it happened in Vietnam to an F4 Phantom after launching an Aim-9. If I remember correctly, in the History Channel series "Dogfights", it is depicted what happened.
  21. I know, I am even collaborating in a module that you will like a lot and that fits in the cold war. My idea was to represent the 1983 AV-8B, but I think it is not possible because of different aspects of the AV-8BNA. I will continue to enjoy the A-10A.
  22. Ok Alpen, It's a shame not to have a Harrier on the server, an iconic plane from the cold war.
  23. For example this is the configuration I usually use in the A-10A, 4x Aim-9 and 6x Maverick D. And this is the configuration of the AV-8B, 2x AIM-9 and 4x Maverick F. It is true the AV-8BNA systems are very advanced, but its capabilities can be greatly diminished by removing some of the armament, PODS etc, its effect on the mission would be limited. As for the Aim-9M it is a very good missile, but you can limit the number of missiles you can carry to only two, Alpen knows how to do that. You also have to take into account the enemy fighters, not much an AV-8B can do against a Mig-29, a Mirage F1 or a Mig-21Bis flown by a good pilot.
  24. Hi @Alpenwolf, I could see the AV-8BNA in the Two Towns briefing, could you include this bird in some Caucasus mission?. You can remove armament and other things with the idea of representing the 1983 AV-8B, (Aim-9M 1982). As a point of reference the Mig-29A entered service in 1982-1983, the AV-8B in 1983 and the AV-8BNA in 1987.
  25. Now the Mirage F1 is better for dogfighting. I'll let the Aerges guys do their job, is a wip, patience.
