I hear that the aim-120 sucks in the demo? did the devs nurf the aim-120? I hope it's just not modeled well in the demo since it wasn't ment to be used in the demo. anyways, in the demo the r-77 is better then the aim-120 so I hear.

well I think you can. when I was screwing around with it you can set how likely this would happen. like 10% of the time this will fail after so many minutes flying. I think I could be wrong since it's been a while.

I fly the old maule around the states...lomac does not look cartoony at all or too bright. if you want something darker just use the winter terrain.

it's not exactly a bug. it just wasn't modeled to do that in game. mabey it will be fixed in 1.1

sorry I was not specific enough on my first post. I was refering to lomac no RL :P

just saw a helo get shot down by a t80 with it's main gun. the helo dodged all these missiles and then gets cheated by a little tank it was ment to destroy :D. never noticed the tanks actually did that till now.

wow great work jetfire! this is something that is most needed in the crimean airwars online campaign.

I really have few troubles flying against migs. just fly below the contrails or they will sneak up on you and slap you. if you fail to hit them hit the deck and turn it into a dogfight 8)

Re: Some Suggestions/Requests for Devs: Problems with Missil what alt are you shooting from? I really never encountered that problem when i fly around 26,000ft. only time I will have a problem with it is when someone in a su-27 is flying over water at a very low alt and you cant shoot them but they can shoot you.

I'm sure ed really looked into this before even adding the aim-120 to the game. so I'm pretty sure the aim-120 acts as it's soposed to ;). also I'm sure they had real f-15 pilots to comment on it during the development of this sim. so I think this thread isn't really needed.

I think lomac uses the C version but I just herd of the B version. anyone know the difference and if it's in service?

I'm not exactly sure but i think most people in russia do not have cable. I could be wrong! this expansion was mainly ment for them and so it wouldn't be a good idea to work on a dedicated server. :( though I think that's kind of a poor excuse ;)

the DEVS better know about these 2 bugs or i give them a big slap with an aim-120 when someone crashes or looses connection. their plane will worp into space and then whiteness. this acts like a memmory leak and everyone who is on the server will eventually encounter the game crash or freez. but it takes like a min or so as the game laggs to a hault. I've also come across friendly sam sites shooting me down but only with multiplayer. really annoying

I tried to search but was unable to find the search button. now I found it :) dang you would think the dedicated server software would come with the expansion. frankly it better come in the next patch at least! my god I'm not sure what people want more, new planes, better ai, or dedicated server software. but as my 60 year old teacher once said, "people who speak any of the off languages tend to think differently." JOKE! I"m looking forward to jumping into that su-25t :) or shooting it down in my f-15c ;)

umm will flaming cliffs come with a dedicated server thing? I can't find it on the list of added features.

umm it's fact that the f-15 in lomac uses a later version of apg-63 that has tws. thank you for correcting me it was APG-77 not 70. the f-18 should be using the apg-70 since it can lock targets that are on the ground. but some f-15cs are getting the apg-77. stormin stated that in lomac the f-15c uses the later version of the APG-63. do you know the specs for the apg-70?
