Following along with PappaVIS "Radio Mayak" I tried it out in the UH-1H and found with slight changes it WORKS!! http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=102687 Pappavis way: " Steps; 1. Start Audacity. Create, or convert an appropriate sound file, of say.. 15 minutes playing time, save in OGG-format . 2. Start DCSWorld, choose mission editor. 3. Create a triggerzone 'RadioMayak' of 30km radius around Maykop airbase. 4. Create a once-off trigger '4 mission start' * type=Coalition has aerodrome, aerodrome=Maykop Khanskaya * action=flag 1, value=On 6. Create another Once Trigger, No Event, condition=Flag is true (1), then select Action--> Radio transmission, then choose <<file you created>>, zone='Radio Mayak', value=FM, loop=on, frequency=103400, power=200 5. Add a Pilot flyable Ka-50 taking off from ramp at Maykop. 6. Save the mission. 7. Start the mission, tune radio to 103,400Mhz FM and.. low & behold.. RADIO MAYAK!!! tested with Ka-50, might work with P-51D with adjustments to LUA-scripts. " My way for UH-1H: Steps; 1. Start Audacity. Add a Pilot flyable UH-1H taking off at ramp of airport chosen above. 7. Save the mission. 8. Start the mission, tune VHF radio to 135400 and your intercom selector to 3(not needed.. was thinking of fellow crew members).. low & behold.. RADIO!! Please note the tuners on the VHF are mouse wheel tunable.. under each is the on/off and volume controlled with mouse left/right button clicks. don't forget to turn it on and volume UP! Thanks to pappavis for heading me in the right direction! Obviously you can use each airfield for different songs.. sounds etc.. and for different coalitions in control of them.. Make sure to turnoff last song before hand.. this can even be used for other stations.. or to pass orders while you progress from airfield to airfield.. tested with UH-1H. Edit: I did find that the Multiplayer problem exist.. this only works for the first person loading the mission.. sigh... FIX FOR MULTIPLAYER BELOW!

50 bucks is not cheap.. but it is far from overpriced in todays market. I would suggest you look up what Microsoft third party FSX planes sell for.. the good ones.. it boils down to this.. if this is your main hobby.. you invest.. if not.. wait for a sale this fall or next summer.. no biggie.. it wont be going anyplace. Nothing different than a guy buying a few boxes of shells for his time out shooting.. the golfer buying a new putter or some boxes of balls.. We took the grandson to outfit for softball.. after a few hundred for his hobby.. he looked at some bats.. average.. 250.00 for a bat.. for a bat!! Many of us do appreciate someone making something for all of us to fly with a classic background. Times change.. hobbies change.. just enjoy life.. outside or behind the stick on computers.. remember... if you feel laggy... your system is over 3 years old..time to update it as well.. this is a hobby that has to be invested in like any other.. tally-ho!!

Of course.. got it!! Put a server up with nothing but the Hueys to fly.. Was interesting to see some that can fly it like they been born for it.. Was more fun watching others like myself flyin from every angle and dangle of the bird.. In time.. sigh.. time.. patience... This is the LAST DCS MODULE I am buying... well, till the next one comes out.. (Is it out yet?);-)

Appreciate the suggestion.. but been there done that.. reason I went to the extreme of having another file to swap with.. Still doing it... although the other modules work fine with TrackIR.. and this one works fine once file is swapped.. till I go assign another key.. I am sure the problem will go away once I have everything setup..lol.. but its still.. a problem for "me".. and maybe others.. so I suggest saving the old file at start before changing settings..so you can swap it back after.. which seems to fix it..

I got some sort of issues with my TrackIR(v4).. one time its there.. next time it is not.. just this module.. works fine in others.. I found if I go into the config and backup a default trackIR file from a friend (tried the rename and delete of own file.. didn't work)... when trackIR quits working I can exit the program and replace the current TrackIR.lua with the backup saved one.. then when I launch the module again..it overwrites it with the right stuff in it I guess And all works fine again.. I usually lose the control of trackIR if I go into commands menu to assign a key. dunno why... not changing TrackIR settings.. and it still works fine in the other modules.. very strange.. any help appreciated.. Edit: oh I also tried the load profile thing..it didn't work either.. have to replace the file with the other for it to work again..

Wow.. I was to dumb to realize just pausing TrackIR would get me in control with mouse.. thanks for that..

I had the same email.. The bank shows 39.99 gone.. paypal takes the money right then.. which puts it into your paypal account..then they take it from there and pass it to you.. people use paypal to "avoid" these claims.. paypal says they paid you guys.. you deal with paypal and don't threaten to remove keys from customers who purchased in good faith.. because thats not good faith on your end. extending the funds returned, if ever returned, is better than losing customers for life.. I will not pay double. I own everything you guys sell.. I would rather not make this my last purchase.. that's YOUR choice as well. we all have our reciepts and tracks to kelly@fighter-collection.com

Sorry, no trk files seem to exist.. but the mission was generated by Quick mission builder..then changing the helis to clients.. I do have it and can forward to you? just tell me where to send it..

I did a search and may have over looked this one.. but Running a server today with labels on.. I noticed when people leave, the next person that comes in has the Other label name attached to them? their name is right in lisitngs of Esc or ' keys and bottom left in F views.. but when you view them with the label flying.. it's the old users name.. can possibly be harmful I would think? sorry if this has been addressed already.. screen caps if needed..

Well, you have two sides to every conflict.. DCS has not been on Steam long.. they already have a new Black Sharks up.. added A10c and now want another version of Black Shark up... Steam may be saying, use one or the other.. then it comes to sales.. maybe DCS is not selling on Steam.. so they (steam) don't think it's worth the time invested to add the new one.. Best bet.. wait for the fix for steam users if your tight on funds.. or like myself..just go ahead and buy it out right from DCS and be done with it.. at 40 bucks more.. who really cares.. it's our hobby.. DCS must need the money or wouldn't suggest it and gave it away...wake up..they need to make money! so give it up.. and let's get back to enjoying the game.. We get to buy the nevada map next..;).. who said we aint hav'n fun!!

Sorry..I missed the CLEAR announcement.. I can wait..I didn't even complain that I own a steam version and bought this version at 40 bucks.. I dont care about the money.. I care about the service.. the CLEAR statement I missed.. must be my fault.. Will play single player till then.. umm can BS2 players see each other already on network? if so..seeing it's blank..I will leave a small one up for others can test..

HUH? I need a patch? and there is one out for this? use same patch as A10c? They released this right from the start not being compatable with A10c although that was one of the main reasons of making it?
