haha, that's inspired by that Japanese cartoon called "battleship girl", or whatever it was called, I don't know for sure since I don't watch those. So in this cartoon, all aircrafts are aircraft girls. At 2:28. the eagle, which represent the US said "how about T-79 of the 16 plane" was not an accurate translation. He actually said "how about the type 79 of the girl 16", which means the block 79 of the F-16. Anyway, here is the link for the first 2 seasons I told you about. Enjoy.

Since I am too busy with work and is very tired, I am not going to write detailed documents and stories like I usually do. I found a more relaxing way to tell the story. I have a found a cartoon that will summarise the story. The last episode was talking about the J-8PP. But feel free to watch it from the first episode. Too bad I couldn't find English subtitled version for everything after the 2nd season, because if I remember correctly, there was an episode in 3rd season had more detail on the topic. So, only the first 2 seasons. Enjoy

OK, let's search their comments more thoroughly and see if we missed anything else. Have they said anything about their 3rd module yet.

Wait, Ka-50 never existed? I thought they build a small patch of them. 18 of them I think. -

Probably because that one did not have BVR missiles. Hi @uboats, can you tell us, does this PP version has aerial refueling rod? Thanks. -
First of all, I have just heard that you guys are going to make J-8II, I don't know a word to describe how I feel right now. Excited? Not strong enough of a word. Happy? Not accurate enough. All I can say is that I don't think I will be able to get any sleep tonight. You guys are awesome. I will be in Beijing in a few months time. When I do, I will find you guys wherever you are and I will kiss you guys so hard that your faces will feel numb for hours if not days. OK, now that I have finished my venting, let's get back to the topic. I heard that there were 3 variants of PL-11 missile. If you have already decided to make them all, I apologies to have waste your time here. The original PL-11 was just an modified Aspide missile. But there are 2 more upgraded variants. A PL-11A which hard new seeker head, fuel system and motor. It had a roughly similar performance as AIM-7L. And the is an PL-11B which was an active radar guided variant of PL-11A. I think it was designed by the 607 institution. So please consider making them into the module. Thank you guys VERY VERY MUCH~!!!!

No, we are seeing the same picture. Those line caused by the light show's they are no rounded. And they are not aligned. I don't care that much about Tu-95 and S-3 since I didn't pay for them. null

Wishlist for potential planes after JF-17
PLAAF replied to J-20's topic in Deka Ironwork Simulations
Yes, you are right, only the really dedicated RedFor guys would, but have you taken time to research on how many of those dedicated people are there? I don't think you seem the big picture. I have met many friends in the wests who only fly RedFor planes. The Chinese community is also growing larger and larging, and most of them prefer Eastern planes. Take a few minutes a day and trying to log into a Chinese server and you will see how much population they got in there. Not to mention Chinese groups which live in west like me. It is just a matter of the limitation of social circle. When you are so in love with the western planes, obviously you would have an tendency to socialise with people who share the similar interests with you. And gradully, you would believe that most people only fly western planes, because everyday all you see are the people in your circle. That is the same case with me. I am also surrounded by people who loves Eastern planes and frankly most of them are from west. I also found few Chinese groups who also prefer western planes. If you like, I can introduce them to you if you have a discord. I also know a few mid-East friends who came as refuges, and they are very familarised with the F-16 and F-18, because they have spend their entire childhoods being bombed by them on weekly bases. Good luck trying to convince their groupies to fly western planes. So, it is just a matter of social circle. -
This looks so cool and I wish I have one of those.

You are right. That did the trick. Here is the log file. dcs.log
-
Thanks guys. That where I originally thought that well. But for some reason there isn't a file called dcs.log. There is one called dcs.log.old. And there are a bunch of zip files called dcs.log-xxxxx (x here are the date) There are also some dmp files and crash files.
-
Where can I find the file?
-
nullPlease see picture below. The map was never full loaded. And the game will either crash right there or crash when you try to exist the game.null

Dawn, can they use even less polygon points or whatever it is called? You can see the angled edges. The body isn't even rounded. And those edges at the nose part of the fuselage aren't even aligned with the back part.

Thanks guys, I will try to squeeze some free time to reproduce this and upload the track as soon as I can.

A listing of all variants of J-7 and J-8.
PLAAF replied to PLAAF's topic in Deka Ironwork Simulations
They are carrying out the retirement ceremony for J-8s. Very soon, all J-8 and J-7 will retire from the service. The plan is to retire all 2nd and 3rd gen fighters by 2025. Then Deka will have no problem making any variants of those 2 planes. Also, there are J-8's DCS clip in this video. So I was thinking, maybe Deka already made the module, and just waiting for the Chinese government's go-ahead to release it. By the way, the english subtitles are not very well translated, but good enough for you to get the idea of what they are trying to say. -
That was in single player. Sorry I did have a track, only the Tacview track. If I got a chance to play it again, I will screen shot them and save a track. One of the issue is that the track never work properly for me, especially if there is a update patch. Once your game is updated, the track made with the previous version of the game rarely work. The plane in the track will fly all over the place. I had a chat with some friends, it seems they have similar experience too.

A listing of all variants of J-7 and J-8.
PLAAF replied to PLAAF's topic in Deka Ironwork Simulations
Hi, sorry for the late reply. I will check them when I got a chance. I had been drowning with work and real life issues. Haven't had chance to even play DCS for months until yesterday. -
Hi, I wasn't actually sure if this is a bug or a feature, that's why I haven't reported this yet until now. It happens often (about 20 to 40% of the time). During evasive maneuver I noticed that my rwr was gone, and my radar scope no long indicate the location of my base (with the white circle, but the radar itself still works). When I press F2 to see my plane I noticed that the tip of my vertical fin was blew apart and the rest of the fin has fragmental damages as if one of the missile hit me. But after review it with Tacview, no missle ever hit me. I did dodge them all. Also, during the entire time, no alarm was active on my warning panel. In the beginning, I thought may be I pulled too much G and my fin got ripped off. But that's no possible, because I had no fuel tank nor AG weapon under my wings, and if I did pull too much G, my wing should be broken, not my fin. And I had my flight control on AA setting. The funnies part is that my rwr will return to me after awhile.

Agree, there are still many buttons on MiG-19P that don't work properly. The MiG-19S they promised is still nowhere to be seem.

Not sure how reliable this video is. In the video, the commentator mentioned that "although J-10C does have WS-10, but WS-10 is used on J-11, J-16, J-10A ........." This to me is odd. Because as far as I know, J-10A only used AL-31 because at the time of the J-10A, WS-10 wasn't out yet. And all J-10C uses WS-10. So I am a bit skeptical about this video.

Good News, this prove we may one day get J-10 in DCS.
PLAAF replied to PLAAF's topic in Deka Ironwork Simulations
Haha, What he meant was that the Microsoft FS J-10 wasn't accurately modelled, it used parts of F-18's avionic codes. From your picture, J-10 and Lavi have similar looking cockpit, not avionics. Seeing the symbols and displays in the J-10's MFD, they still looks the ones we have in JF-17. To model them accurately, we need details. I was hoping that after so long, J-10 would be de-classified enough for us to have a DCS standard module.
