When you say J-8 gen 1, I assume you meant the old center nose intake variants. Here are some photo for the cockpit of J-8. It was so hard to find. But as far as I know, all J-8 was upgraded to J-8E standards, which I still can't find any picture of their cockpit. I would be cool to have J-8E (the best variant of center nose intake version).

I don't know much about the MiG-21PFL. All I know is that according to the Wikipedia, MiG-21 was developed in 3 stages. And MiG-21PFL is in the 2nd stage. I too love to see a variant of 2nd stage MiG-21 in DCS. But I prefer MiG-21PFM and MiG-21S. Check out this cockpit of MiG-21S, it looks so cool.

J-7G would be a better choice since it is the best. The G series has also been exported to Tanzania, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. I also heard that there is a variant of J-7G that has a KLJ-6F radar with a range of 86km. As for the older one. My vote is on J-7D or maybe J-7IIM.

Yep, Most Chinese J-7 are double delta wing design. I am not aware of any non double delta wing J-7 that are still in service even 10 years ago. By the way, my friend had written a list of J-7 before. Feel free to have a look I may actually write a more detailed breakdown once I get some free time.

Hi, I was just downloading the new update a moment ago and encounter this bug. I can't complete the update, and can't play the game anymore. EDIT: Nevermind, somehow restart the computer solved the problem.

Firstly, thank you guys so much for the introduction of H-6J. It is such a treat to fly with such a plane. Feel like swimming with a great whale in the ocean. Can you guys please add more so we can simulate more scenarios? I have a few suggestions: 1: HY-6U Aerial Refueling tanker. 2: H-5 Bomber 3: HD-5 ECM jammer The first dedicated ECM warfare plane made by China. This plane will add some fun in the game. I know that currently, the only form of ECM in DCS is the "Background Noise mode". So we can just add it as a much stronger version of the jammer pod carried by Su-27, with much less "burn-through range". 4: Q-5D I know a lot of people would love to see this. Hopefully, one day this can be even made as a full fidelity module.

I think it can be fun. Imagining having a friend to watch you back and constantly yelling "We've got one on our tail!! He is getting closer!! Do something!!!!!!".

You don't need to have a AWACS for datalink. Ground radar can have control and command center too.

Let me repeat this again (this is the 3rd time for christ sake), read all comments before reply. Pakistan uses link-17 system, but JF-17 is not for Pakistan only. JF-17 is sold for other nations which has no western datalink, and they are switched for Chinese datalink.

I don't think you saw what I commented earlier? Probably you opened this page and left it open before I posted my last comment. Anyway, Pakistan has ordered KJ-200, so they are compatible. And JF-17 is not sold only for the Pakistan, they are sold to many other nations that do no have US datalink and must purchase Chinese datalink. Therefore we should allow our JF-17 in DCS to connect with Chinese AWACS. Beside, in real life, Pakistan has no E-3 nor E-2.

No, I meant SCO, not CSTO. I understand your argument that SCO is more general purpose, but nevertheless, it also deal with security issues. For example, China-Russia joint military exercise near Taiwan, to put pressure against separatist movement. China is the founder of SCO, and Pakistan have joined it recently. You may claim that JF-17 in Pakistan was intended to replace F-16, so it uses western datalink. But that's in Pakistan and JF-17 wasn't intended for Pakistan only. Many other nations purchased JF-17 had no US datalink and must purchase a Chinese one. Secondly, Pakistan also have purchase Chinese AWACS for JF-17 too. So, Pakistan JF-17 must be able to link to Chinese system too. It doesn't make any sense that a Chinese plane cannot linkup to a Chinese AWACS, but can linkup to a E-3.

That's the issue, how is JF-17 not a redfor fighter? Both China and Pakistan are not a part of SCO, which some may call it anti-NATO. And how does a Chinese plane doesn't use Chinese datalink, but instead, use american one?

1: The texture of the drop tanks are often missing. Sometimes can be solved by quit and reload the game. 2: JF-17 somehow can't get its uplink to connect with the KJ-2000. Yet it can link up to the american AWACS. This just doesn't make any sense.

I doubt MiG-25 will be the next. Because if they are going to make a high altitude interceptor, J-8F is a far superior one and on top of that Deka has more info on J-8. In fact they have already made the 3d model for it. Furthermore, as far as I know, the poll shows, most people here want J-8F.

They might, but if they do, the "agenda" won't be what EnvyC implied. Because Taiwan has no reason to hate india. So there is no reason for they to make a propaganda "aimed at Indias acquisition of Rafales".
