  2. Plus These settings as well for active shots. TWS or PDSTT with range <10NM, or PH ACT selected: LTE 3s, no loft, active directly after launch 4. PSTT or BRSIT or (ACM cover up with no track or PSTT or PDSTT): LTE 1s (unless STT and angle >15deg then 3s), no loft, active immediately Little Tip. When you choose Brsit with lock or without lock, the missile is active of the rail but Scans a distance under 15nm (don’t know the distance exactly). You can shoot a target about 20nm but the missile is not flying directly to it. Under 15nm it will find the target and then it will follow it!
  3. I‘ve „solved“ it. For now I can communicate with every Ai on the server but cannot choose between the radios. For example, I turn uhf to the frequency of Kob, hit the vhf button, but for some reason I can’t explain, I transmit on the right radio (uhf). Is not as realistic I wanted it to be, but I can live with it.
  4. Hey. Do you have checked the Game-Audio-Settings set to Output „Riftheadphones“? Try to set the first two settings to, Rift Headphones.
  5. Hey thx for the fast request. I will check it later, but I think this isn‘t the solution. Cause i tried it on two different server with the same result and when I jump into the tomcat on these server for example, I can use the radio I want to use, without any problems. is it possible, to set easycomms for only one Typ of aircraft in the Serverssettings or effects it to all aircrafts?
  6. Hello Guys. I´m sorry to ask this question, but i found nothing about that. I´m new with the Viper and can´t figured out, why i cant transmitt on each radio. I´ve disabeld easycomms. When i fly singelplayer, i can choose between uhf and vhf. I have bound the needed commands to my HOTAS and everything works like it should, but when i hop onto a online server and push the transmitt button, it only shows me the easycomms menu "Auto". Its a little bit anoying becaus i can´t connect to a tanker or something like that. I´m sure i´m missing something, but can´t figured out what it is. So please Community bring me the enlightenment Thank you in advance
  7. Hey Heatblur. Is it possible, to give us the Option, to command Jester, to change the EL Bars and AZ Scan via Jestermenu or a specific Keycommand please? Often in the transition between BVR and WVR plus after defending a missile, the time is short to bring the nose to the bandit, lock him and fire at him. And if the bandit is further away then 15nm, PAL doesn’t work. Every time, it tooks to long to get a File on TID screen and command Jester „lock Target ahead“. I think it’s because of 40° AZ Scan. Correct me, but I think, when we could command Jester to switch to 10° or 20°, the 8 Bars EL would be much faster and it will detect the Bandit faster. Thank you for all your great work .   9. Hello Guys. I´ve troubles to understand the AIM-7 and i hope you can help me out. I tried to search via google and forums to understand the missile. Searched for optimum ranges and so on, but for my clearency i have to ask the community so, do i understand that correctly, that it absolutly does´nt matter, if you can hold a STT, cause the AIM 7 could still go for a Chaff? Is that really in the spirit of the inventor? That sounds to me like, you wanted to tell a dog where it has to go, but he see´s a food and turned away . and if it is like that, is the solution the SP PD Switch, wich the RIO can activate to avoid that problem? Thx in advance
  10. That would be logical, but is it also implemented yet?! Maybe someone from HB can light up this Situation ?! I found the Post and the answer as well why you can’t turn cold. It is possible, that a Phoenix go for a held track and when the target is in the calculated zone, it activates the missile, but the held track must be in the awg9‘s scanzone. So you can‘t turn cold. Now everything is clear for me. sorry draconus but thank you very much for your replies
  11. Oh okay. Yes you are right. According to „weighing targets“ this shouldn‘t happen :-(. But does the part from the text „In addition, targets which are deemed to be leaving the scannable volume are also raised in importance, if they are already deemed important by the previous criteria„ mean, that you have to mark them first as MAND or does that mean, every Track that deemed to be leaving? If it would be the first part, the Jestermenu opportunity could be a solution. I don’t know the exact conditions when it goes activ after a track is lost, but for now, when you have a track, fire a Phoenix, hold the track till TTI shows for example 25 sec, then you loose the track, it is marked with an X, the WCS holds the track via Memory and sometimes the Phoenix is going active and hits the target. I think somewhere I read, that the Phoenix flies to the targets calculated point and if there is something in this zone where the Phoenix can point at, it is going active and hits the target. Idk if the radar has to see the target again, so the old one with the "X" and the new one are overlapping.
  12. Hello HB. Thank your for your great work. I spend tons of hours flying the f-14. I only bought a gaming pc, because of your module . So big thanks to you!!!! God i love this Plane . I have e question or better a wish. Is it possible to give us the opportunity via Jester menu, to select a specific tws track to get information about range an alt and after that the option to set the track as a MAND ATTK, DO NOT ATTK Track? For Menu Example: BVR-> Radar Settings-> Tracks-> TWS1 TWS2 TWS3....-> Select (for only get the Tracks Information) Set to MAND ATTK DO NOT ATTK option. Cause sometimes i had the problem, i fired a aim54 at a single target, flew the cat that way to hold the track at the maximum azimuth. Suddenly another target on a deferent hight and range appered on TID Screen. the Awg9 (WCS) wanted to hold this track as well, but cause i'm holding the first track already at the awg9's max azimuth, i lose the first track after the wcs calculat's the new average middle from the new track and the old one. The searchcone jumps a little to the center and the track i fired first, is slightly out of the search cone from the awg9. the track is marked with a "X" and the Phoenix is trash. Correct me if im thinking wrong, but i beleave, when i can tell Jester to mark the first track as MAND ATTK, the WCS would always slightly point in that direction and hopefully, the target stay in the cone. I can try to set up such a situation in the mission editor, to demonstrate it better or i´ll take pen and paper and draw it if my text is to confusing . Until then, thank you for your excellent work Ps.: I have another question. The WCS can hold a track for 2 mins. So when i fire a phoenix, look at the TID, check the TTI less then 120 sec, turn cold, the phoenix must hit, when the target is flying straight with the same speed all the time. Is the WCS powerfull enough for such a situation? It often worked to me on pve server when the TTI is less then 30 sec and i lose the track. The target is in the calculatet zone and the phoenix still goes active - perfect. I set up a situation in the mission editor, and tried it with a TTI more then 60 sec. No phoenix hit the target. Is this real cause it is to long and it brings to much deviation, or should the phoenix hit?

  15. Hey Guys from HB. Thank you for your amazing job on the Cat! To pay homage to you, I had a vr pc built just for your Cat :smilewink:!!!! Can i ask you a question? The Sound Overhaul is very impressiv!!! The question I have is, do the engines sound the same regardless of whether the canopy is open or closed irl? Cause now, i think there is no difference isn´t it? thx for all HB :pilotfly:
