Thanks for your replies, i have been in contact with customer support via chat, the guy did his best to help but eventually ran out of ideas.... I'll contact them again to let them know that there is an issue with SimApp. Like you say the keybinding tab is able to contact the server and download user profiles ok, so it's not an issue with my anti virus software blocking access or my connection. -
Recently bought an Orion 2 Base and F-16 stick with shaker. Vibration is working fine in game when using "Default" mode, but i'm wanting to change some parameters more to my liking. However when i select "advanced" mode the "cloud files" are not populating and i am unable to create a "New profile".... i also no longer have any vibration in game. Switch back to "default" mode and vibration works again. Using the latest SimApp version, anybody else having this issue in "advanced" mode ???

Really enjoying the immersion and "feel" that the Rhino provides, when you throw VR and the jet seat (Simshaker) in to the mix as well it's amazing. Mainly play the F-4E these days and can fly it by feel now, Heatblur have done a really good job of implementing FFB support with their module. -

I bought one of "Wingers" DIY kits and assembled it in less than a day once my motors had been delivered. I have had daily use with it for about two weeks now and absolutely loving it. I was going to print all the parts myself but instead decided to purchase a DIY kit from Winger for convenience. I have to say that the quality of Winger’s kit was outstanding and the kit comes with all the required hardware to complete, the motors/control board are purchased separately. The Gimbal came pre-assembled as did the emergency stop button wiring and all the printed parts were very well made and slotted together with no problems. Had to open up the holes on the bearing retainers slightly with a drill to allow the bolts to pass through easily but that's all, everything just slotted in to place. The VpForce telem FFB software is amazing and injects many effects in to the joystick which allows you to fly by feel. The Heatblur F-4E is made for FFB and it's great now as you can really “feel” what the jet is doing. The Rhino works equally well with helicopters, you click the cyclic stick "Force trim" button and the stick holds it’s position just as the real thing would. If your comfortable using basic hand tools and doing a little bit of wiring than i would highly recommend taking the “Winger” DIY route. You can have a VPRhino up and running in about two weeks, which is the time it took for the motor kit from VpForce to be delivered. VPforce_Rhino_Manual.pdf Rhino Assembly Reference12.pdf -

Saved Games folder after latest 2.9.6.57650 patch.

Made a point of saving my original "Saved Games" folder content and then generated a new one using the .bat file below. https://www.tenforums.com/attachments/tutorials/38713d1442867993-users-personal-folders-restore-default-location-windows-10-a-restore_saved_games_default_location.bat Any changes that i make in the Game options menu or edits in the options.lua are now being reflected within each other which wasn't the case with my original Saved games folder after yesterdays update. Unfortunately i now need to load all the individual aircraft control profiles back in. I can now download the individual FC3 modules and they are now working ok. -
After the latest patch i noticed alot of content has been deleted from my Saved games folder located here C:\Users\myname\Saved Games. The custom scripts that i had installed for the Skynet IADS and the splash damage 2.0 script have all been removed. The SU30 mod and OH-6 mods have been deleted from my saved games mod "aircraft" folder but you can still see them as available in the bottom "module" banner in game. Seven out of the nine Churchill asset mods have been deleted from the saved games mod "Tech" folder. As an experiment i renamed my current "Saved games" folder expecting all my settings to go to default when loading up DCS for first time again. However DCS still remembered all my previous settings, also it did not generated a new "Saved games" folder. How was DCS still able to remember all my previous settings when i have in effect deleted my saved games folder by renaming it ?...... where is DCS storing it's settings now ?. Thankfully it hasn't deleted all my control bindings...

I've lost five modules that i know of, alot of my saved game folder content has also been deleted, Kola map crashes game and to top it all off quad views is no longer working..... renderng my Pimax Crystal useless ....... going have to figure out how to role back if this is not fixed today. -

Thanks for your replies. Just to clarify in Pimax play under the "Games" tab i have a "Render Quality" option which defaults to "Maximum" (value of 1) ...... is this where i increase the resolution by clicking customise and increasing the slider ??.

Yeah you were right i was inputting parameters that could not provide a solution..... as soon as i increased the "run in" speed parameter from the default value to something like 450kts..... it then calculated a drag coefficient for me. Thanks for your reply ...

I'm running a Crystal on an RTX 4090 and use OpenXR Toolkit to upscale (CAS) the image to 3500x4142. Still playing around with Quadviews companion, currently running Horizontal/Vertical focus size at 32% FOV, Foveate Res 180% and Peripheral Res at 6%. I have until recently been upscaling higher but i'm finding the new Razbam F4 a bit of a performance hogger in VR so have had to drop the res to the above settings to try and maintain FPS at 72...... at all times. I was just wondering what resolution are you guys running your Crystals at ??..

Jester on this occasion seems to be behaving himself, his locking the ground ok when i press the "context menu" key . The bombing table is not working as described in the manual and a couple of youtube videos that i have seen. .... One of the youtube videos that i watched when the guy selected bomb type it populated the "drag coefficient" line with a value that you could then send to Jester. I just get a yellow warning triangle instead. I'll give that a go but he is setting the range to 10 miles and appears to be doing his job...... it's the bomb table that i'm having issues with, it's not coming up with bombing solutions ... see above ..

Trying to practice dive tossing, whenever i select bomb type in the"bomb table" weapon drop down menu a yellow warning triangle shows up in the "drag coefficent" line. If i try and bomb using the direct method instead then changing any parameter within the bomb table also brings up the same yellow warning triangle..... but this time in the pipper depression line... ??. Please could somebody tell me what i'm doing wrong ??.

No longer appears to be working..... i'm seeing the initial "script loaded" message upon mission start, but no longer seeing any damaged/distroyed messages in game. -

In VR it crashes everytime for me. Starting a quick action mission it half loads the cockpit before it crashes, loading from the mission editor it crashes four seconds later after pressing the "fly" button. In 2D it works fine.- 488 replies

Where's that five years gone !!!!!. No wonder all my original control bindings don't work anymore.. Still a great airrcraft to fly..... at least that hasn't changed ...

Thanks for your replies guys. It was due to using an old mission file, deleting the aircraft and adding a new M2000C fixed it.... It's been a very long time since i last time i played this aircraft, there's been a lot of changes in that time... i'm sure the countermeasures panel used to be on the left side of the glareshield !!!. Thanks again ..

I've been messing around with the M2000C and In the ME i pick one of the Eclair_M configurations to add more chaff/flares to the M2000C. The in game the kneepad says that i have those addtional flare/chaff quantities loaded but in reality i am only ever able to fire off a maximum of 16 flares no matter which pod configuration i choose in the ME. If for instance i choose to have an additional 16 flares in the Eclair-M pod, those 16 flares are fired off ok but the aircrafts internal flare dispencers have been disabled. The additional chaff quantities seem to working ok as it first empties the Eclair-M pod and then switches over to the internal chaff dispencers. I have disabled all mods and cleaned/repaired my DCS installation.... made no difference. Is this a known problem with the eclair pod or are am i doing something wrong ??....... i've read the manual but still non the wiser..

I didn't know that about the two different codecs. That would explain when testing my QPro using AIrlink it ran smooth.... because it's using the H.265 codec I've no idea why it's so stuttery when using the link cable with the H.264 codec .... bearing in mind that i have tested it with three different link cables, two powered ones and the expensive Oculus one..... so it's not the cable. Ive also tested the three link cables with the link speed tester and the results were all similar. Yeah i can only turn my bitrate up to a maximum of about 230Mb before the video breaks down using the H.265 codec over link. On the Q3 i've had my bitrate up to 940Mb, the sound stutters but it works, so my Q3 is happily using the H.264 codec. It get's me wondering that i must have a setting wrong somewhere because i'm able to reach whatever refresh rate i set in the Oculus PC app, but it's just not quiet syncing/locking in.... almost like i have two ASW's fighting each other causing a slight stutter and fluctuation in frames. It's a mystery with the QPro ???...
