Hi, I agree with the OP. The F-16 definitely has some laggy control response. This makes flying in a tight formation much more difficult as compared to the F-18, Mirage 2000, AV8B and others. Same goes for aerial refueling. Have tried negative curves on my Virpil joystick, but that does not alleviate the underlying issue of control response delay. Why this has not been fixed yet is beyond me. Cannot believe that some folks cannot see an issue here. Are there any current or former IRL F-16 pilots here to comment?

Hi, Besides MSFS, switching between VR and pancake mode is also available in X-Plane. Would be nice if I could switch DCS beween the two modes using a key bind like I can in the two games mantioned above while in the game.

Hi, I have the same jitters in MT as well as in ST. The jitters seem to get worse the closer I fly to another aircraft. In my case I tested it with the KC-130 tanker. Once I get within about 100 meters or so, the jitters start with the tanker. When conncted to the basket the basket as well as the tanker jitter the most. When leaving the tanke the jitters seem to get less as my distance inreases from the tanker. This only occurs since updating to DCS 2.9, did not have it prior to this update. Tried different servers, all had the same issue.

Hi, My loading times increased dramatically since the last update to version 2.8.6.41363. Today I timed the loading from pressing the DCS icon till the main menu. It took 6 minutes and 18 seconds. Trying to do the long repair now. Hopefully something will be found and fixed. AMD 7950X3D, RTX 3090, 64 GB RAM @ 6000, Pimax Crystal, Pimax XR runtime v 0.4.0 Update: Despite the long repair, the loading time seems to get worse. After the repair the loading time from clicking on the DCS icon to get to the main menu increased to 6 minutes and 35 seconds. HOWEVER after rebooting my computer after the repair, the loading time appeared to be normal again!

Hi, I found that when flying supersonic, do NOT reduce the throttle when above Mach 1.4. To reduce speed, deploy the airbrakes and leave the throttles at full afterburner until slowing to less than Mach 1.4. Once you are below Mach 1.4 you can SLOWLY reduce the throttles to further decelerate. Also try not to fly above 50.000 feet. The engine may stall when above this altitude.

Hi, I also think that the wake turbulence is excessive on the F1. Even a formation takeoff caused my engine to stall during takeoff roll. Or just crossing behind a preceding F1's flight path. Not very realistic. Maybe some real world F1 pilot can comment on this. Please developers, do address this before the next update. Thank you!

Hi, Thank you both for the help! In "Search", I typed "Camera" and thus I found it. Strange that the devs did not put these functions in the "View Cockpit" section, like all other aircraft. This just creates confusion as my post above shows. Anyway, thanks again for your heads up!

Hi, I can move the cockpit camera in all DCS aircraft, EXCEPT the F-14. Have these functions been forgotten in the F-14 Control Options? i.e. Cockpit Camera Move Back, Cockpit Camera Move Center, Cockpit Camera Move Down, Cockpit Camera Move Forward, Cockpit Camera Move Left, Cockpit Camera Move Right, Cockpit Camera Move Up. F-14: All other DCS aircraft are like this:

Hi, For some reason, when pulling the starter T-handle to spin up the starter flywheel, nothing happens. Battery and shunt switches are ON. The T-handle does pull out, but there is no spin up of the flywheel and no sound. It only seems to work okay in auto-start. I have uninstalled and re-installed the I-16, but no help. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Hi, Please have a look at this smoke issue on the ground. If a player has the smoke on and turns it off on the ground, the smoke multiplies until that server crashes. Thanks!
