  1. I'm afraid I'm in the same boat - I'm a COMPLETE noob with the Cougar - only got it two days ago. Have loaded this profile to the device, but in game, not having much luck. Example - no matter how I assign axis in DCS A10, the thrust level is controlled by T6 and I cannot seem to assign the zoom to ANT (even though it says it is in the controller options) - yet some of the other switches work fine? Can someone point me in the right direction to get started with this? Many thanks. Joe
  2. How much? I'll be there in a week or so... Thanks for the info!
  3. Keen to hear how you go with it! Enjoy!
  4. I certainly don't disagree with your thoughts behind buying locally - I think PC Case Gear's price is quite reasonable and I've only had excellent service from them in the past. But for me, it's still a fair bit of cash to outlay for what appears to be almost a "beta" release. Yes, the bricked throttle problem concerns me and the TARGET software is still in its infancy. Anyway, is there any truth that the production run of the Warthog is a "limited"? Otherwise I'm happy to wait until 2011...
  5. I received one of PC Aviator's emails a few days ago, advertising the availability of the TM Warthog. I was interested to see this comment: Production run is limited? Has anyone else heard of this? I must admit I've chosen to hold off purchasing for a little while whilst other eager-beavers do the beta testing, but, I don't want to miss out entirely! Just PC Aviator trying to encourage some more orders on their (absurdly expensive) Warthog? Not cool if they're making it up...
  6. Is it 64-bit? Thanks for the link.
  7. What? Sorry, you've confused me. What "airliner" do you fly that can land in 3200 feet but the landing distance will increase to 11000 with a 10 knot tailwind? Are you talking ALD or LFL? Hope you can clear it up for me! Joe
  8. PC Aviator are seriously kidding themselves with that price - or are PC CaseGear going to up their price after the pre-orders are filled. PC Aviator are generally shocking for prices - I bought a Track IR 5 and Track clip bundle from the US which was a full $100.00 cheaper than PC Aviator's price (incl shipping!) With the dollar parity, it is hard to justify.
  9. Let us know what you discover from them, please!
  10. What postage option did you go for with shopBLT? How much?
  11. I sent an email to PC Aviator - they said they will eventually stock it however there is no time frame or expected price at this stage... It's a shame with such a strong Oz dollar at the moment - paying for o/s postage is a bit of a show stopper for me...
  12. I'll be interested to see the prices they attempt to sell it for here in Australia. PC Aviator are pretty hit and miss with their prices - sometimes excellent, sometimes highly overpriced. I fear TM will provide the Warthog to resellers in Australia at a premium and we will see very little of the AUS/US dollar parity that we should. As an aside - very disappointed with the lack of information forthcoming from TM regarding their release date - why don't companies understand that the customer will accept delays (more readily...) IF they are just kept informed? Anyway - one way or another, I'll get my hands on one of these eventually. Cheers - Joe.
