  2. My feelings about the video: -No "Hi, this is Nick from ED..." -The music was not epic enough and came too late. -I have a bad feeling about the F35. It is Pandora's box of problems with the lack of data, and also glass cockpits are boring. -The next F-15 full fidelity model without resolving the Razban situation is salt in the wound. +-The level of detail of infantry seems to be a waste of resources, I would prefer adding better movement animation for current models. +The German map looks to be nice, ideal for helicopter player +The C-130 is still in the work, I am looking for that module. +Alternative HUD for F-14, it is always good to have the option to choose. +-It would be funny if the first full-fidelity ground vehicle was the T-34-85 +Dynamic campaign will be nice. And if it is also connected with AI to voice narrate some in-game radio text or even the auto-generated briefing, it would be better. I hope that with the dynamic campaign, they will brink the save-load function into the DCS.

Hope people will find out the specific point that resulted in the solution Years ago I was afraid to install the WIN10 because of fearmongering of automatic updates, the LTSC was a compromise for me at the time.
  4. OK, I have taken the risk and installed a new version of WIN. I have been preparing for this moment for the last two years... I updated from WIN 10 LTSC 2018 to WIN 10 LTSC 21H2. I dont understand how, but now everything I have described in my first post is 20x quicker. It directly goes against every my experience with computers from the last 30 years of using PC! Thank you for the final kick to try this solution, now the DCS after multiple months m will be a pleasure to play again.
  5. I've dropped your DCS log file into the DCS log analyser which had the following feedback. Note, these items are performance related so are aren't strictly the cause of your loading time problem but worth resolving given the impacts that they have (and may help with that). Turn off SSLR. This had no impact on the lags (I have tested this option multiple times before and by deleting the save game folder) Turn off SSAO. This had no impact on the lags (I have tested this option multiple times before and by deleting the save game folder) Disable civil traffic. This had no impact on the lags (I have tested this option multiple times) Consider using TAA instead of MSAA. This had no impact on the lags (Tested this first time) In addition to this I see you are also using the OH-6A mod, along with the gunner export script. This has known performance impacts on multiplayer servers with a large number of units. The advice on the GitHub site calls out this performance issue as well and has a recommendation to remove that script. This had no impact on the lags, tested without mod completely multiple times now and before Remove gunner_export_hook.lua from Saved Games\DCS\Scripts\Hooks to avoid it (Doorgunner won't be functional anymore) This had no impact on the lags The log analyzer also states that your Windows version is out of date. There may be performance improvements in later versions. My Windows automatically downloads critical updates and security updates, I have prepared a new version ISO file to update the core system, but I need to buy a new HDD to create a backup in case something goes wrong If you haven't already then add an exclusion to your entire DCS installation directory in your anti-virus software.     I could not find the other topic on this forum about this; my search skills are low. Otherwise, the linked thread concludes that it will not be implemented, not even as a graphical feature, because it is a waste of man-hours.

Some GUI elements seem to result in minute-long lags in MP: Description of problem: All problems start when clicking on MP options in the main menu -> The server browser lags for about 15 before start listing the servers. After joining the server it takes about 1 minute before some map texture loads and I can select the side I want to play. After selecting the side it takes 30s before I am able to select a filter to choose the plane I want to fly. After choosing the filter it takes 20s before I can select a specific slot. After another 20s I can spawn and the cockpit texture takes about 15s to load, while the texture loading the FPS slowly raises approximately from 0,1 to 80. When I call the radio my FPS drop under 5 for 2 seconds and when selecting the rearm and refuel options the FPS drop under 3 for another 3 seconds-. Whenever the text with a radio message appears on my screen the FPS drops for 1s on under 3FPS. When I hit ESC and choose Key Binding the game freezes for 3s. What I found out: The problem is only in MP, in SP I have 100+ FPS with no problem. I can start my simple mission in SP and I have no problem, when I start it in local MP it lags half as bad as in a normal public MP server. I can connect on different servers and the problem is the same. Deleting Metashade or fxo folder didn't help. Deleting SavedGames/DCS didn't help. Verifying game integrity didn't help. Deleting DCS and downloading the whole 300 GB again didn't help. Using the default configuration/settings after the new install did not help. Trying different GPU drivers did not help, currently have the newest one. Deleting SRS, or TacWiev didn't help. Proces lasso and diferent core affinity didnt help.     Is there a way how to extend the leading-edge glove vanes? At least for A variant, there should be a way how to manually extend them, from what I found online...
  9. I have a similar problem: When I land on a certain helipad, the Abris goes crazy. He thinks I teleported to my starting location and am moving straight up. The Nav error did not occur when landing at the Pafos (Cyprus) Hospitals helipad, but it happened at the Nicosia (Cyprus) Skyscraper helipad.   11. On the rooftop of a skyscraper in Nicosia, Cyprus, there is a bugged helipad. It used to work perfectly just a couple of months ago.
  12. Solved after clean reinstal. (Only in server browser and in looby before spawn it still lags and freeze as hell).
  13. When connecting to a MP server my GPU behaves as idle, any idea how to solve it, and what information could be relevant? More Description: After connecting to an MP server, my FPS is in the range of 2-7 (depending on the server) FPS and my GPU consumes under 30W of electric power. When I start a mission in SP my FPS is 100+- FPS, GPU consumes +-300W, and when I start my MP server (not dedicated) my FPS is 100-120FPS. More information: I play the MT version of the game CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X GPU: RX 6900 XT (drivers 24.6.1) RAM: 32 GB HDD: Samsung EVO 980 PRO (NVMe PCi 4.0) Page File: 42-46 GB (main disk) + 12-36 GB (secondary ssd) My attempt to solve it: -I have tried lovered graphical settings, view distance, object details, etc... -I have tried multiple servers to connect: multiple servers of Through the Inferno, some random server with a low headcount, etc. -I have tried to empty the Track folder. -I have tried activating/deactivating vSynch, and changing the FPS max limiter (even commenting on it in the config.lua). -I have tried deleting FXO and MEtashader2 folders (and spent the next 60 minutes fixing it, because DCS was not able to create a new one unless I started it as administrator). -I have tried to delete mods and check the game folder integrity via Steam.   14. I have played this mission three times. The first time I dropped a pig on the first and second set of coordinates and the Raven 34 was unable to drop on the third. The second time I ordered Rave34 to drop first, he refused. The third time I dropped first and second, Rave 34 was able to deliver on the third set of coordinates but could not deliver on the fourth. However, the Spades were announcing that it was enough and decided to attack so I could finish the mission. p.s. The first time I was playing with VoiceAttack and SimpleRadio, at the second and third I didn't. At all attempts, I was using TrackIR5 software.
  15. After some time, I have returned to continue the campaign and I just spent half a day deciphering your briefing for mission 10! Why didn't you write the pilot's name and call-name, which is the player going to play as, at the start of every mission? I was forced to look up the book in my library to make sure, that Wilson is called "Flip" and somehow deducted that in this mission I am playing as Wilson. Also, the information that Wilson is in the Hammer Squad is secretly hidden in the automatically generated part of the briefing. It is very frustrating to read the whole briefing and have to memorize the names and tasks of other pilots because I don't know which order is for me and which is for other pilots. I didn't have the same problem with your previous campaigns (F-15 and A-10), probably because there were fewer pilots and not so grand battle plan. BTW. Sometimes I am not sure what is my task during a mission so I RTB just to discover, that my task was different and I just misunderstood the conversation with my wingman. It happened to me in a couple of missions.
