  1. Jethro I think I found the answer. Move/drag the start bar vertical to the side of the monitor. This was a successful fix because the curser opens up the windows start bar on the bottom. When moved to the side it is far from the game window.
  2. I have noticed that it happens when my mouse opens up the bottom tray on my desktop and my curser can be seen in the tray tool. As soon as I click the mouse the windows out of focus comes up so I have at least pinpointed the problem for myself. I get the curser back in the window and click again and the message goes away.
  3. You have the same issue I have had with the oculus quest 2. I found out that when the mouse curser is pushed and it is out of the dcs game window on your pc screen and on your desktop background or down on the tray tool on the bottom of the screen is when this happens. I have been making sure when I use the mouse in the cockpit that it is pretty much centered in my field of view. That has helped to keep the curser in the window. I am starting to look at how to deactivate the tray tool from opening up at the bottom. Curser confined to game window did not help me with this issue
  4. I am getting intermittent "window is lost" message in red while running vr with the Oculus quest 2. I lose the mouse cursor, and lose control of the f18 but the mission stays active. To get going again I restart the quest 2 and sometimes restart dcs. I don't believe it's the quest link because I do not receive a notification from the quest saying I lost connection with the link. I thought maybe it had something to do with the vr setting in dcs labeled "curser confined to game window" which I believe this is where the curser follows my head movements in vr. I have unchecked that option and I hope this does the trick because otherwise the vr has been fantastic. Please help if anyone has had this issue and has resolved it. Thanks in advance.
  5. This mission is at night and after the 2.7 update the instrument lighting is too dim on max brightness.
  6. Emergency battery was ok with good voltage and switched on but could not open the canopy or start the apu with it.
  7. The apu and the canopy should run off of both batteries in case of emergency( at least the apu). If an engine flames out and you need to restart and the primary battery has failed then the emergency battery should run the apu( redundant power). I am going to continue researching this one. Feels like a bug.
  8. The canopy will not open after the carrier landing. I set up a primary battery fail 30 min into the flight. I never received any caution message on the battery issue. After I recovered back on the aircraft carrier I noticed I cannot open the canopy after shutting down the engines and I cannot get my apu to startup to re-ignite the engines, and then I noticed my primary battery has no voltage. I thought the emergency battery should be able to start the apu and I shouldn't need battery power to open up the canopy.
  9. The maximum light for the instruments in this mission is too dim with brightness knob to max brightness.
  10. Is there a rough date when DCS 2.7 will come out in the stable version?
  11. Thanks Flappie. I spoke with a tech from bullguard and the tech told me its most likely a false positive as well but for peace of mind to download malwarebytes which is a free to use antivirus software and have it scan the file as well. I did a full virus scan with the malwarebytes and bullguard and neither found any issues. I am not trying to ruin the dcs world reputation I am just informing the public and asking for help to resolve the issue. Mizzy must be on the dcs payroll because she sure took it seriously and made me feel like I am trying to ruin the dcs reputation. I enjoy dcs world very much but Mizzy when people like us pay thousands of dollars to create/build a gaming computor/flight simulator and there is a threat of a virus we are going to be as proactive as possible to resolve the issue, keep people informed and keep our computers/ simulators running smoothly. Good afternoon.
  12. Also the antivirus software caught this and quarantined the file when I attempted to run dcs world yesterday. I have auto update enabled so dcs world will check for updates everytime I run the program.
  13. I am using Bullguard as my antivirus software, I have been playing DCS for around 5 months now, I did not use Steam to upload dcs world. I uploaded directly from the dcs world website. I am using the latest stable version release from this past Christmas. Any idea what this file is? I only speak English. Dcs is running just fine now for me but I have my antivirus software not scanning dcs updater( which bullguard tech support instructed me to do) which I feel is a bad idea. Note: this was also put into the behavioral category in the antivirus software but it was labeled as a virus.
  14. My antivirus software has quarantined dcs world/bin/dcs.exe and has labeled a virus as"drop.win64.scoreinject.163" that was found in this file. I allowed it to pass through my antivurus software by having my virus software not scan the dcs updater and I'm concerned I might have let a virus through. Anybody have the same detection by their antivirus software?
