  1. Do we finally get R-77, anti-radar missiles and TV-guided missiles for SU-27?
  2. This is the front seat from a Subary Justy. Check here for more pics: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=1029896#post1029896
  3. I have a 42" Samsung (1920x1080) as my main screen. Just got two indentical and working 15" Sonys @ 1024x768. My Geforce 680 still has two DVI´s and one VGA output free. Could I use them under the 42" Samsung? I only play the russian planes. Flankers and MIG-29's. Can't be arsed to convert feets and knots to metrics while flying... :dunno: Any cool suggestions?
  4. You were right all along! It was the keyboard.html file... Sorry!
  5. Is there a way to make the mouse controller on the throttle to work as target designator without using the crappy STT programming software? The old drivers and software worked in my 32-bit rig, but now that I updated the system to 64-bit Windows the STT-software is behaving oddly (and that's and understatement". For example the SST-softaware can´t read my old profile that I used hours to configure...
  6. I wouldn't say clear as crystal exactly... OK, a nice chart, but no keys in it. I'll use the old FC2 docs and eventually stumble into what´s not working.
  7. No keycommand documents or keycards in any format (pdf, doc, rtf, etc...) anywhere to be found... :detective: Does the FC2 keycommans still apply for MIG's and SU-27 in FC3?
  8. Isthmail, you´re the man! Thanks!
  9. I just patched DCS World and then bought Flaming Cliffs 3. When trying to install FC3 up pops this window: Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeellllllllllllllpppppppp! :(
  10. "These are the settings I use on my modest rig (c2d E7500 @3.8ghz, Radeon 6850, 8gb DDR3 etc) I get pretty decent FPS all round." Seems to be a image missing... ???
  11. Does Flaming Cliffs run under DCS World?
  12. Googeled my ass off but couldn't find it. I know RWR but what's SPO short for? And yes, no comical acts right now (like Sewage Plant Operator)... I´m not in the mood anymore.
  13. I see... That certainly explains a few oddities with the autopilot. Thanks, m8!
  14. While planning my simple cockit I stumbled upon this question... What´s the difference between they A-key (engage/disengage autopilot) and the left ALT+9 combination (disengage autopilot)? Talkin' bout FC2 BTW...
  15. Thank's! And yes, you are absolutely correct. I'm a regular 181 cm tall guy and the sides are indeed about 5 cm (2") too high. I can live with it, but if I was too do the pit again I would lower the sides to 35 cm instead of 40 cm. Then again I couldn't play race sims because there wouldn't be enough hight for the legs... Life's all about compromises.
  16. Well allright then, let's get this thread back on track again. Not that ther's anything wrong with beer that´s related to planes. Or beer in general. Here's the lay-out for my Cougar MFD's if anybody's interested. Quite a struggle with 56 buttons + Saitek's buttons & axis & sliders. Next up configgin' the Saitek from scrath... again.
  17. "Spitfire, shooting down fockers all over Kent" and "Downed all over Kent, just like the Luftwaffe". That's pure brilliance from the marketing department! :megalol: Today I layed my hands on one of these (pic). You brits are really into beer named after WW2 planes, aren't you?
  18. So here's the throttel. At least for now. I'm not entairly happy with the stick layout yet, but it's coming along. As you can see I don't use no friggin' modes or pinkyswithes. I can't be arsed with remebering modes etc... That's why I have the Cougar MFD's. There's buttons aplenty to use!
  19. Ok, so my Saitek X52 Pro arrived on monday. Been tweaking them since then, in-game and with the STT software, and finally I have something that begins to feel like HOTAS. What a pain. So far I'm not really convinced by the X52 Pro stick & throttle. They feel more "plastic" that I had thought they would and ther's some centerplay with the axis and rotarys. I should have saved up to the X65, but I had such a GAS for a HOTAS bundle. Meanwhile, here's a long exposure photo of my pit. Can't even begin to describe the feeling when I'm flying a night mission with the lights off and only the screens, MFD's, keyboard and X52 provide the light. Very cockpitty feeling indeed... And because I'm broke after buying the X52 I had to cut down my weekly beer consumption. But todays friday so I had to buy one lousy bottle. And a very fitting bottle it is, brits surely have some nice bottles...
  20. Well everything is possible with SETAC. It's still a work in progress. Orginally the dad of SETAC made the software for his own pit but it works aswell in mine. There are many features that doesn't show up in the screenshots. MFD-zooming, changing tracked/tracking objects and changing the various MFD's with a USB-keypad etc... I'll try to get the dad of SETAC to post an own thread about SETAC in the near future. I think he will go by his callsign Sierra Echo 69. He's a computer wizard that has been around since the first Flanker 1.0 release.
  21. At the moment SETAC is sized for a 15" screen so Cougar MFD's should fit nicely around the SETAC MFD's.
  22. Just incase you wondered about what the heck is SETAC (actually no one did), it's a proggy that my friend is working at. Much like Lock On Virtual Panel or LEAVU etc... Here's three screenshots of SETAC in action:
  23. So it really has more to do with the Shkval? OK, thanks!
  24. Oh, sorry. Yes I mean in Su-25T. I have tried both, my hit accuracy seems to be as good/bad if I use the target specified size or not. Also I'm confused by the whole principe of the "target specified size". I paint the target with my laser right? And the missile (Vikhr for instance) flyes to the painted target. What's the deal with the targets size? The missile shouldn't care if the target is a rusty bucket or a bigass tank? :joystick:
