I just purchase another 2gb stick so now I have 3 sticks matched and are 2gb each. this should do the trick. all 3 sticks are identical but 2gb instead of 1 gb each and they are CL7 compared to CL9 for the 1gb sticks.:)

Tom: There is no problem as you should know. As a matter of fact I have yours loaded. Yes we at VEAO do have some work ahead of us on the Eurofighter, we have and are working hard on this project and will continue until we are satisfied that we have done as much as possible to produce a realistic Eurofighter. Tom, you are the same, work very hard as well. I think every A/c has been modded at one time or another by different modders and that is, nor every will be a problem. I am a fan of yours as you know. I enjoy both and that is as it should be. I can say for a fact, that we at VEAO appreciate and admire your hard work and modding talents. You are a valued asset to this forum and flight sim. Well i know what you are going through as I am in the process of updating mine again.LOL. This time it is a full scale build with parts costing over 1000 dollars Cdn. so I know where your friend is coming from.LOL. We and our toys,hee hee, toys seems to be thrown around a lot for some reason that I can't figure out.LOL. The dominator 3 channel kit is not available at this time. However the dd3 kingston in 2x2 is available now. All I have to do to get triple is to add one more 1x2 for 6gb to activate the tri channel which is detected automatically.It is suggested however to add another 2x2 for a total of 8gb and that will still activate the tri channel. There may be an instability issue with 1x2 but it should work. Too avoid that slim possibiltiy 2x2 would be a better move. So do I understand? If what I have said is not true, then I do not understand and you would suggest to start, a 1x3 kit. Am I correct. I really need to understand this and I do appreciate your time. So keep the info going. I am trying to learn.:)

Seems AF is taking a back set to FF5.5. I do like AF but then again I had problems with FF5.5 and windows 7x64. Keeping eye on it. Yes thanks tir5 seems to be the one of choice now even amongst tir4 users. Cheers.

I just saw your post and I did have Toms zip open and I am sure he will answer himself but this will give you heads up. I think Tom has a read me file that you can look at before you install. Just unzip and you will see some files and the readme file is there that shows you what is installed. I just want the typhoon so I think I can take the files out and insert manually with a little fixing for FC1. I had a quick look . There are some files in structures but only a couple. The rest of the files are for the different A/C. Yes I think you may want to backup some files for sure.:)

If you had an oil spill in your back yard, you would either be in the poor house or never see the light of day again. We have had oil tanks leak into the ground here and the offender has been damn near bankrupt, cleaning it up.(home owner). Interesting.

Exactly! More to a game computer than just a PC for the home. AS just mentioned there are some key components you must have and especially true for FC2 and BS. Would be nice to know some of your equipment so we can give you a better idea of what you would need to enjoy BS and FC. You can enjoy these sims. and not brake the bank. Cheers.

Tom: Hopefully ED will give us the chance. Sure hope so. I don't have FC2 but I understand cockpit mods may be a bit easier than FC1. Still using FC1. Don't forget about a good Power supply, 500 watts or better, gives everything else a longer life. Not just about 500 watts but also a good quality PSU unit.:) Hope all of this has helped you out. Lots of threads here on the subject as well.:thumbup:

This must be for FC2.0. I have never seen a cockpit like this in Fc 1.1 or Lockon.

Lets not lose track. The i3 530 will handle what you requested. You need ram. 2gb's is not enough. You have indicated that money is tight and you basically want best bang for the buck. Normally that would be your CPU, however everything else has to be up for it as well. Graphics card, power supply and motherboard.(basic) requirements, plus the OS system. ED is producing a better graphics solution and you need a place to store that information.(ram). This topic could go on forever but your needs are dictated by how much you can spend. I3 and ram would get you your required result. Can you improve on this, you bet you can but at a cost.Cheers.:)

Well, this sim. is pretty much CPU reliant and if $90 dollars gives you 4gb of ram, the CPU is sufficient to run with but you should have at least 4gb of ram. Yes the I5 would be much better but as you pointed out, money is tight so personally I would add more Ram. If I had the bucks I would do both. Hope some more members jump in on this. Good example of what mankind can do and does do on a daily bases, not with just oil. The lose of most of the planets trees, still using plastics in areas where dear old glass could be used(example plastic bottles). the amount just from this going to land fills is amazing. Large Manufacturing plants still destroying the air we breath and ozone layer. The list can go on and on but yet nothing is really being done. We will eventually destroy ourselves. AS long as BIG companies rule, which they do, nothing will really change. Let's not forget the melting of the Polar Cap as well. Scientist can't keep up with what this world is changing into. Their predictions are far behind what is actually happening today. Very sad.:cry:

It is ddr3 and it is 4gb as far as I know. I will check but I think I looked at it on the web but will make sure. Thanks.:thumbup: Just checked KVR1066D3N7K2/4G cl7 240pin dimm. You can get as much ram as you want. Kingston comes in a lot of flavors. 1gb, 1x3, 2,4,6 ,8 and everything between and higher. The board allows me to add lots of memory so I started with a 2x2 kit. Hyper-x series also has a variety of ram to meet you needs. All available in CL9 or CL7. I preferred the latency 7. Thanks for bring this up as it sure does'nt hurt to check and make sure.

Working on Raptor pit now. For fC1.12 as I don't have Fc2 yet and not until July when DVD comes out. I can show you a few pics if you like. Still a WIP but getting close. The pit is done on the F-15, since the F-22 is mostly used for air dominance. Pete

Tom: There was talk a long while back that the Meteor was going to be upgraded as you mentioned. I would assume they did so and as far as I know what they were talking about was stats. to out perform the AMRAAM by a sizeable margin. Now, did they do it , well I guess that is top secret for now. I always wondered how stealth the F-22 was seeing as it has to open up the bay doors to shoot. I guess it would happen so fast that it would not show on another a/c's radar till it was too late. That said, there was also some talk and again a while back that they were investigating a coating for the Eurofighter to try and make it a little more stealthy. Again I would assume it would be top secret if they had. Love your work, keep it up. cheers.
