  1. Hi: Are we still looking at a July release date for North America? Do we know at this time who will be the distributor? Thanks for any info.
  2. Thanks Pal. I sure will. Appreciate the help.
  3. Hi: Thanks a lot nice site. The problem I have is that I need the .pr0 file and not the .dat, for the x52 not the x52 pro. I had two profiles one for dat and one for the new sst software .pr0 file and have lost them both. Can anyone help with finding an .pr0 profile. Thanks for any help. P.S. Can get info from site. Thanks for the link> cheers.
  4. Can anyone share a good x52 profile for F4Af. Had one and lost it. I can rebuild but if someone could save me some time, would be appreciated. Thanks. Forgot, the new software. Pro, file. thanks :)
  5. Thanks a lot. I think the PM should work now and have given you my hotmail address. cheers.
  6. I will check that out. send e-mail to psjktisdall@hotmail.com. Cheers. Thanks. P.S. PM should work now. Sorry about that. Missed a check mark.
  7. Thanks.:(
  8. Yes, I know, have been looking for a while but have not found the degree of detail I am looking for yet. Just wondered if you had found a site or maybe had a couple of pics. Still looking at sites. Thanks.:)
  9. The F-22. Do you have or know where I can find good detail shots of the side done views of the left and right panels. Left has throttle and right has stick. Need good shots to be able to read lables. Can't find a good site or anyone with good pics. Not like the Typhoon. F-22 shots are hard to find. Any help would be appreciated. I assumed that the MFD displays were of the F-22 or maybe I was wrong. Anyway if you could or know of a site would be appreciated.:)
  10. How about side down left and right photos(detail). Is it possible you can find those, I have tried but not close enough to get proper information. would help me a lot if you can give me a site or a couple of pics. Cheers.:)
  11. What flight sim.? Looks interesting indeed.:book:
  12. Sounds fine to me. Just did not want to think that we were misunderstood.cheers.:thumbup::) P.S. Nice to meet you too. F-18 a give away, lol.
  13. A.S. Sorry you seem to have missed a point. I agree with what you say. I was thanking you for acknowledging this difference. I will pass on a fact that I do know because I have been fortunate to be in the company of real life combat trained F-18 pilots. The piece of information I will share has to do with the forces on the body. All of these pilots once they have completed a training exercise have had at least, a 2" decrease in their physical height do to the forces exerted. A temporary condition of the spine compressing. This is true for everyone of them. We don't feel those forces nor never will unless you are very lucky to have a fam. flight in a combat a/c. There are many more examples of what the human body goes through during combat and combat training. As you say we sit very comfortable in our chairs. It is also a fact that new pilots who have played with combat simulators and have gone on to be combat pilots , that their actual training time has been shortened due to exposure to PC combat simulators. Sorry if you misunderstood me.
  14. Thank you A.S. for that insight. You are most likely to be correct in saying that you may own the virtual skies. Will not argue this point, although some may like to take you up on that. No big deal. You are also correct in saying that a RL pilot would not hold his own with you. I would agree to that. Once you have been trained on the RL a/c it would be extremely hard to step backwards and achieve success. That would probably hold true as long as the pilot is an active combat pilot. Retired and with time well I will leave that up to you. It is a valid point the virtual simulation and Rl are not even close in these kinds of sims. Nor will they. Thanks for that valid point.:thumbup:
  15. Thanks for info.:)
  16. Thanks Tom, Know exactly what you mean.Cheers.
  17. Glad you brought wx up. I will tell you from past experience in the professional ATC world, for simulation, we used actual wx(weather) for that day and time in which simulation was provided and still the results are far from RL.:)
  18. May not even take that long. LOL:)
  19. Hell guys: Its not always the so called brains that solve problems. Lots of solutions have come from people such as yourselves. Chit chat back and forth on a topic like this could very well have results. Don't sell yourselves short. This is how progress is made and not always by who you think. All it takes is something to pop up that was overlooked, now the brain people can take and run with it. Group discussions is always a good way to solve a problem. Does not mean everyone has to a brain child. Most times they get tunnel vision and it takes something like this to get a better perspective on the subject. Cheers guys.
  20. Guys: Your talks have been interesting but now if you could move closer together on each others thoughts on the subject, maybe the two of you could come up with a viable solution that can be used to more effectively produce better simulation FM. This is how a problem really gets solved. Now see if you can both come closer together and see if at least maybe you can stumble across a better solution to the problem. Now time to look at each others thoughts and just maybe something might pop out, that has been overlooked. Seriously. Its chats like this that sometimes bares fruit.:book:
  21. Well maybe through all of this they are on to something.:book:
  22. Would be nice to get back on topic. All these formulas, etc., we understand are needed to compute code for all sorts of reasons, not just game simulations. This is why there are teams set up to work on projects and a team leader to keep engineers, programmers and everyone else involved on the right track. They always get caught up in their own environment and loose track of the intended project. So lets just say its a win, win situation and look back at the first thread. Cheers.
  23. Ok this is the result of the techs input. I7-930,p6tmb, antec 600 case, kingston 4gb kit ddr3 kvr series. The rest will come from my current computer with windows 7x64. gpu cooler , extra 120mm fans(2), PSU 500watt (considered top quality), Leaving a case, 4gb ddr2(corsair)ram, 3.5 floppy, intel e4500 core2duo, asus p5kmb.. any suggestions if anything should be changed. Thanks
  24. Tom: How hard would it be to make it flyable with Fc1. I am stuck there till July hopefully. Waiting for DVD version.Beautiful work as always.:thumbup: Pete
  25. Yes, Thank you for your insight. I see this is your first post, welcome!
