There are mods for lockon for F18 and FM may be off but not by much, so a retexture to a more modern looking cockpit with some F18 actual textures and English language cockpit was made by me. There are a lot of people in this community that fly the F18 mod and this is a more modern look instead of the SU-33 cockpit. FSX is not a combat sim. We are unable to make duplicate cockpits because we do not have access to ED hard code so we have to be satisfied to retexture. Some modders are very good at it but the guages and hud can not be moved , just retextured. That means we can't make a digital cockpit at this point in time. The FM in FSX for the F18 is worse than lockon by the way.

Thought a more slightly modern cockpit was needed.

Maybe they use mad dogging to get the attention of the aircraft and maybe force him to do something that you want him to do to improve your PK. Just a thought.

I know that there is a thread somewhere in here but I can't find it. So I will ask, What file or files do you need to change for the aircraft to appear sitting on ground and not below or floating? I am sorry because I know it has been mentioned but unable to find. I know what causes it but do not know how to fix it. Any info or point me to the thread would be appreciated. Cheers:(

Will it be compatable with other mods that use the su-33(kabina-27). If not it will affect a lot of other nice modes. I know it is hard to pick aircraft as you have to try and match FM and loads and pylon positions etc. I was wondering if you made seperate kabina files if that would solve the issue. Just a thought, or one that is compatible with all soviet aircraft. Alot of code work I know. We have ADA, now the su-27(great work), J39, F15E and EF2000. Would be execellent if all were compatable. Merzifon? Shaggy, would it be possible to upgrade the Merzifon textures too. I would be pleased just to see some roads in the town. Maybe that could be another project. don't know how hard it would be to combine it with what you are doing as Merzifon is a seperate mod. Got to agree with you on this. What I do , when I have the field in site, is My own ILS approach. Civilian but not much different than military. Fly over beacon, do a left hand tear drop(shape) and pick up the ILS. This should give you a nice approach. Only it's all your flying. Lockon Messed this one up as well as the carrier ILS approach.It's ok for a straight in. I bet it's on the bug list for 1.13:).

Nice Huaf:lol:, I got to say though, this questioning the modders has to stop. We as forum members do not have the right to question a modders intentions and should not. Gees, you guy's do this for free for us and show your progress then some ( fill in blank) starts to question you on if you have permission to do this. Not for us to ask as far as I am concerned. What a way to get a modder upset and maybe to the point he says frig it and does no more mods. We the community have just lost big time. I hope some common sense will prevail and that this questioning stops. Huaf please continue with your work, the community needs the mods you and others are doing. ADA used the an aircraft to refuel Mirages.Not sure what aircraft, been a long time since I had the whole pack installed. Should be able to do something with this. Just a little tinkering. I am sure ADA would pass along the how too's, if asked.:)

Interesting to hear that DCS-BS is only a small nitch. Remember it will be a very long time and I do mean long, before we see fast movers in the DCS-BS series. It would be a wise decision on ED's part not to throw away LOFC. It still has a very strong showing. A very dedicated community like no other. IMHO it would be wise to build on both and if that means 3rd party for LOFC it still makes them money. Personally I think keeping both going would be a wise business move and 3rd party is a smart and reliable way to keep both making money. Name of Game for ED or any business. Find ways to make things work that are efficent and profitable. This can be done with both of these sims.
