Ok, after some searching got it to respond to keyboard. Need English keyboard,etc. One small problem is the Tornado is not powerful enough. It stalls really easy and can't make altitiude, let alone Max. Any ideas? Pete

Ok, You now have the F-15E with a Su-27 cockpit and the pylons don't match the number of the positions. Is it possible to assign the F-15C cockpit back and still have functionality with the munitions. If not, I think it would be best to fly the F-15E on the F-15C let the wingman do the bombing. Now all that is needed is to work out the pylons so the wingman can carry the munitions for ground attack etc. Just my 2 cents.

Hi guy's: I take you are still modifying the f-15E as the Pylons don't align properly. Can you give us the files marked as done or something so we know it is the final version of the files. Some I can figure out but one I am not sure of mainly the view.lua can you explain what was changed in this file. Off topic on the Mig. Back to the F15E. Are you going to add the lantirn or is it finished now? I like it very much. Thanks for all your hard work. :thumbup: Would someone please let me know how to get bombs, missles, etc. on the F-15E extra pylons. Thanks Pete

Well the system looks Ok. FC2 is CPU heavy rather than graphics card. 2.67 might be your problem. Sustained frame rates around 30 is quite acceptable. It may also be the server you are on in multiplayer. Some of the members who play on the servers may be able to answer that question.:)

Hi Tom: All is well. I had some conflicting textures. Did a Re-install to clean up FC2 and the F-15E is looking good. Are you going to do another .lom and temptexture for the lantirn or are you finished now? I am happy either way. It looks great.:thumbup:

Hi Tom: Yes I have a lot of Ram, running I7 940 and 6gb ddr3. there should be no problem,but I will check all files as I had your previous version loaded and there may be a file left. I will let you know today if problem continues. Thanks Tom for the F-15E sure is a nice addition. Cheers. Pete

Tom: Looking good but there is one issue. The textures on the aircraft start to disappear when taxi to runway and when you put landing lights on. In the air it seems ok till you lower landing gear and then textures on aircraft start to disappear. Some little glitch somewhere. rattler

Tom: I have had the strike eagle in FC2 for some time now and it works great. I know you did not finish all the animations and was wondering if you would consider finishing this great mod. You may be quite right Nate, but I would hope since then that we have all grown a bit and understand more as to what ED/DCS deals with on a regular bases. Just my opinion. Past is past lets look to future. I know this can be hard due to background but hell nothing ventured, nothing gained. My hope is that we have all grown up a bit, but I do understand the stigma of the past. Cheers.:)

Time to lower that hand of cards so close to the chest. We all know that what ever ED/DCS says is subject to change but at least give us an idea of what is being looked at as the next module. We will not hold ED/DCS to this as I said we all know that situations change and it may be different from stated module. 356 post of consumers wishing to know at least what may be looked at as the next module is getting a little long. Time to put some of this to rest. We can deal with a change if it happens. Cheers.:)

Tom: This is off topic but would like your help. Your F-15 strike eagle has a file named Zubehör it is the .bmp for the lantirn. The western keyboard can not produce this character so the lantirn does not show up. Could you adjust your F-15.lom and temptexture bmp file for western input or suggest any help. Try using the su-33 cockpit. you will get most a-g but not all. agm82/84, agm65, rockets and dumb bombs. no ir weapons.

I believe there were two versions of the ALS lights and the tower beckon light that was done for 1.02 and 1.12. I would have to check and see who were the modders of those mods but they should be easy to input into FC2 and maybe the DCS series. I will see if I still have them somewhere. rattler There was a set of lights done by Hauf-074 back in the day of 1.02 and 1.12a. These were very cool. You had to do some work to get them into the game but they were very nice once you got them working. I am not sure if Tomcatz did a tower beckon light but it was back when Merzifon was being added and there were a lot of objects being created for the aerodromes. I will check and see if I kept them. Hi Guy's: Don't get confused with VRA and VEAO. VEAO has always and will as far as I know, release models and mods to the general public as we have always done. The VEAO team is made up of several modders from the VRA team and they have their own priorities and mods for their Virtual Sqn.. Lots of Virtual teams show some of their work but is not made available to public. This is part of the Virtual world of aerobatics and is more personal than mods for FC2 etc. VEAO has shown a pit for the Typhoon and I am sure that this pit will be made public when time comes. Lots of work to do yet and it takes time but it will come to the public. Hope this clears up the pit issue. cheers and good flying. rattler
