Hi: Shots of Rafale, retextured pit and using AGM65k and AGM84.

ADA v2 has been in the works for a very long time. I understand that this is an ADA team and they are surely entitled to keep what they develop in their group, I just don't know why if this is the case we see screen shots of these mods which appear to be done in great detail and especially if Tigrou has worked on it, as his work is absolutely some of the best work with out a doubt. It gets very disappointing when the mod is not released. Now don't get me wrong, I understand that this is an ADA mod and they are great mods and we all would like to have them but it's tough when we get kinda teased with the screen shots of their beautiful work. It is human nature if you see something of keen interest that you would like to have it. I wish the ADA team and Tigrou all the best and hope that ADA v2 is getting close. glad to see it working for you, the AGM-84C will take them out much further away, just cycle your payload if you are carrying any and the will automatically fly to the Primary target, select next target an launch again. I have taken out 2 towers at long range and 4 hangers and it all depends on your loadout as these missle work. Still getting frustrated with IR weapons but really if you know where your targets are just target them in the mission editor and go get them.lol. Baring any defences.lol:thumbup: rattler

Hi guy's; This is probably the first and maybe the last post you will see like this. I am pleading for the support of the Rafale model. This model was done a will back by a team called "Two More Weeks", who that time was I do not know. I do know that Tomcatz, Cpt.Stark and Tigrou have had at one time or another input into this aircraft. I am pleading to those people or anyone who has an interest in seeing this model completed for FC2 or even including DCS. The reason is that I personally and I am sure there are more who would love to see this model in a complete a state as possible. This is a beautiful aircraft and I think it really deserves to be a part of this community of aircraft enthusiasts. I have done some work but I am no means what one would call a modder. I make this plea here in hopes that the people who can help will help and come forward and put this aircraft where it should be and that is in FC2 and possibly further. I know that modeling is a very intense procedure to produce aircraft mods , from the 3d model, textures animation etc. My hope is that the people that can help will once again show interest in this aircraft and see it come to its proper place among the aircraft mods we have today. It deserves no less. So much has been done, it is a shame to see all that work gone for not. Cheers and I hope something positive comes of this. Like I said nothing like this plea has been seen in an open forum, but no reason why it should be dismissed. don't believe there is a AGM-65G, there is an AGM-65E and I think D. Still working on IR type weapons. Won't launch from a model using SU-33.

to Tigrou Hi: I along with a few other people have introduced the Fc1.12 version of the Rafale to FC2. It appears as though it is a popular aircraft. That said, we would love to see you introduce your Rafale to the community. I know sometimes working on models is a very tiresome task and maybe the thrill kind of leaves for a while. I would like to let you know that there are hundreds of people here in the community who love the Rafale and I am sure like me, they would love to see your Rafale model in FC2. It is such a beautiful looking aircraft and not often you can say that. It would be a wonderful aircraft to have available for FC2 and perhaps DCS but one step at a time. I wish that you would consider this request and continue your fine modeling art and bring this beautiful aircraft into FC2. Thank you and hope to hear from you. All the best. rattler

Nope, but interesting you have it releasing. You could try the su-27 but I would assume it would be like the Mig. On the su-33 for the Rafale, I desinate the targets in the mission editor for the TV guided and you don't need the TV screen to lock. Just activate the EOS(7) and the targets will show up as locked and all you have to do is scroll through targets and fire once you get LA,also have the 84a working same way. The ir don't want to seem to work on the su-33 though, at least I have not found a way yet. I am using the U.S. weapons, so I may try the Russian and see what happens. OK, WHAT PODS ARE CARRIED FOR THE TV LOCK AND IS THE SHIP DESIGNATED AS A TARGET IN THE MISSION EDITOR? USING SU-33 MODEL FOR RAFALE AND FRANCE IS THE COUNTRY. I HAVE THE AGM65K WORKING IF I DESIGNATE A TARGET IN THE MISSION EDITOR AND I DON'T NEED TO LOCK TARGET, WHEN IN RANGE RELEASE AGM65K AND IT WILL HIT PRE DESIGNATED TARGETS. CHEERS.

Just a question and a great find by the way. The question is do you have to be in the AGM65k range(25km) before you can fire the agm84?

oK, Marine it shall be, thank you. This plane is my favorite, not because I just did some work to bring it into FC2 but it is a beautful aircraft to look at as well. There is no template available from the previous modders so trying to do much with it is difficult at best. Tigrou worked on that mod and I am sure he has done some extra work as he has said he has a Rafale mod that he is working on. This is a model that I and certainly the some of the community is waiting for. I sure hope he comes here and lets us know what phase the model is in or if he is going to continue to work on it. I for one sure hope he continues as I see this aircraft as a must have in our library of aircraft. I have found by working on the FC2 model some information that maybe tigrou would like to know, if he has not already ran into it. Sometimes two extra eyes is very helpful and I would be very pleased to pass that information on to help him out. cheers and again thanks for the info, appreciated.:thumbup:

Thanks for the info. I wonder what others have that cause theirs to be dark? It is light and needs darker texture and I thank you for the info. Others must have a mod that conflicts with the Rafale canopy, is the only thing I can think of. cheers. rattler

Would be nice to hear for tigrou himself, no offence to your post, it is great,:thumbup: but a little note on what state the mod is in would be wonderful to go along with those beautiful pics.:thumbup:

no actually it is probably a little too light if anything. Mine is very clear almost no tone in it. If you have it installed, check and see what file may be making it appear dark. If you have it installed could you post a pic, I am very curious that it shows dark. I have loaded this mod several times while doing textures and I still have a light canopy. The reason I ask is that I would love to get mine darker. Go figure. It is modeled on the Su-33. Thanks for you interest and hope the issue is found. Sorry I couldn't be of help. Do you have any other aircraft mods installed? I have only the Rafale, so that might be the cause. Just a thought. rattler

It all depends. Are you flying Fc1.12 then it is a Rafale by "two More Weeks". If you have FC2 then it is a Rafale by (two More Weeks) that has been modified for FC2 by jerec and myself. Now lets make something clear. The "Two More Weeks" team was helped by Cpt. Stark and tigrou. I was assured that the "Two More Weeks" Rafale is NOT the Rafale that tigrou is working on and we have permission for the FC2 release of the Rafale that is now on lockonfiles.com for download. We are continuing to improve on some of the graphics and will probably release one more update. The Fc2 Rafale comes with a re designed cockpit of the Su-33, which is the model it replaces. It has carrier capability as well as a/a and a/g weapons. It does not at present have the IR guided weapons but we are looking into it. Hope this answers all of your questions.:) This is the Fc2 version with my skin. The package also comes with a skin pack. It is a single install by Modman 7.2.0 or higher.
