Hello, I agree, it's really a great campaign (just completed the Mig-15 part), you have manage to give this old dude an interesting background and challenging missions. The introduction and the kneeboards of each mission are very useful to dive in the story. I hope you can offer us a new campaign as valuable as this one with the upcoming Mig-17 and Fiat G.91. In fact the AIM-54 use with the F-14A ED version is not the same as those use with HB F-14s (you can check by looking at the FM, top speed and the drag for example), I think when ED took the lead on the weapons they didn't merged the AIM-54 family leaving the old AIM-54 with the F-14A ED version.

Hi, I think that the problem is not the aircraft but the implementation of the missile, the original AIM-54C have better specs than the one use on HB F-14. So the IA can shoot sooner.

TALD is to be use ahead of a strike package, their purpose is to divert IADS and force SAMs to focus on them. In DCS you can use them to deplete the ammo of a SAM site. In ME use ground attack.

Hi, Is the damage model of the AH-1W (and other helicopters in general) correct ? It's a flying tank. Even with motors on fire for several minutes it can go home easily. If you want to destroy helicopters you need to cut them in half.

I was refering to the French airforce, the Morocco MF2000 upgrade for F1 give an access to the Damocles pod. In the last case you are far from a F1, is more like a M 2000 with the airframe of the F1.

The F1 need a third party for laser designation, the ATLIS II was use on the Jaguar and Super Etendard.

You can run a test in RUK sub-mode which has a flat trajectory, if you manage to keep your HARMs above M 1.00 within 6sec before impact the SA-10 will never engage it.

Did you see a fix in the last patch ?

I can confirm that SA-10 are engaging HARMs too but their effectiveness is affect by the speed of the missile at close range. With the new HARM's modes you can defeat them easily with the initial loft which provide high terminal speed. I don't know if this behavior is accurate and represent the real specs of the SA-10.

Are you using Skynet IADS or another script ?

SA-15 are engaging HARMs (POS or HAS) but not the SA-10 (only in HAS mode), something with the elevation range of the radar ?
