I hear that we are getting the AGM-154 in the next update. This thing has a range of 70 odd miles with a random spread pattern.....I was watching some DCS F-16 vids....this is an awesome capability to have especially against SAM sites and light targets. As far as I can tell the 97 puc monster had difficulties and was abandoned. There is another version with a hardened bomb housed inside.....that would be nice too. I took a look on youtube for some Mudhen AGM vids bt nothing yet...Maybe on How I Play channel soon.

This could be huge......hahaa.... I will buy the E for sure as it has so many possibilities with respect to the available and upcoming maps,and probably the J as I fancy the upcoming Vietnam map with hostorical scenarios on a carrier,and the UK also operated the J model with 74F squadron......and a D version.....as Vietnam will be a blast from the Air Force side too. If they ever figure out the recce ideas Ill take the RF-4E......and please God they do a G model !!!

I don't see why not, once the E model is released...They were a big user of the Phantom.....both early and late models and indeed their own modded versions.

I wish them all the best with their development. I am happy enough to pay for the major variants.....B,C,J,E,.....but for example a C and D are pretty close...as is a J and an S......E and an EJ or an F and perhaps a G . I would be happy to pay for he major modules full price...but the C to D maybe could be a cheaper update ...If indeed you want to update it. Kinda like the A-10CII was ....If you own the master module the update was reduced for a time.

Hi....I'm looking for an F-15E squad to hook up with....relaxed and not too serious..... based in Europe preferably and English speaking. I'm available most days.....I do have discord and I'm not sure how it works it kinda scares me a bit ....I'm oldschool and don't get on well with PC stuff...I.'m happy if it works on startup. I have all the maps...and I have 90% of the modules.....TM Warthog HOTAS,TM rudder pedals and track ir5. My real life job is an aircraft structural engineer.....but have focused on helicopters for the last 8 years..... I'm just looking for a relaxed place where I can have fun, let my hair down and be serious if I need to be. I'm Ger..... Hi !!

Oh yes it does depending on the component...mant parts are changed on once a number of rotations are reached or on hours flown.....inspections are normally done on a daily basis...and for example every 100...300....600 hour inspections...and then once the max has been reached a total strip down.I know...Ive been doing it 38 years.

Ok...I understand the standoff capability is greater with the JDAM...but by how much generally please ? The GBU can however track a moving target ...where a JDAM is a GPS bomb...But I think the latest laser guided JDAM can track a moving target....??? What is the designation for the LJDAM please ?

I came from the Viper to ....THIS. For me,this is the best module so far...and I have 90% of them.....Im not sure exactly what it is....but the deep strike capability and the newly released TFR is just a killer..... the fact that its not a bad fighter helps too....But I guess I was really waiting for something like this....or an F-111. Mudhen all the way baby Ive worked on two types of the above helicopter and they all made me cry !!!

Man...this TFR has just turned this beast into a grim reaper....Ive been doing some low level long distance strikes and its pretty good at not getting found out.......Oh....The JDAMS will hurt a lot. Its also a pretty cool way of getting out of a jam if your out of spears. This has added a whole new ballgame to the sim.....fantastic work.

I agree..faster refueling takes nothing away from the event....

What can you do with a JDAM that you cannot do with a GBU ? I reckon the GBU is more versatile because you can track a moving target where as the JDAM is purely GPS.

I miss the single canopy and the SEAD capability from the F-16...and for sure its more nimble....but the Mudhen has a lot more range....and yes,I prefer it. Terrain following radar and a proper AGM.

Im not really too worried about Mavericks...I much prefer the big Mofo bombs that leave you thinkin just wtf happened!! They may well use them in other air forces but this is a different version...S2+ I think....

Hey.....earlier on I was playing around and it was working fine....Next time I rebooted ED asked me if it was ok to collet info from me,which I argeed too....then my F10 command does not do anything anymore. I rebooted and nothing ...so I did a repair and still nothing.... Im at a bot of a loss ..Any help greatly appreciated.
