  1. Also, if i reset its seeing using "SLAM ERASE", The waypoint list setting in 'STP' is still visible and cannot be resetted to "STP1", is this also a glitch? If it was resetted using 'SLAM ERASE", will the waypoint list setting in 'STP" also being erased? while just keeping the display " STP1,STP2...." there visible?
  2. Hello, i recently was learning to use the agm84H Slam ER. The guidance of this missile is very glitchy, sometimes it will follow the waypoint i set in "STP" and reach it's target, sometimes it won't, instead it went completely off the track and hit somewhere completely different. Moreover, when i enter into a new mission with this missile, the first shot would usually works well, the second shot won't in many times(sometimes it works), and if there were a 3th and 4th shot, it sometimes works and guide its way to the target, and sometimes it don't follow the waypoint at all or follow some waypoints and then went off track. Also, if the map was the Caucasus, only the first shot will guide correctly in most of the times, for other maps like Nevada, it works better, but still it could not guide sometimes. What is going on? Is this a glitch? 3. Hello, i recommend to add a individual "center switch" binding for the dispense switch on the throttle like pressing the button. In the current setting, i'm can only move either forward or aft in that swicth that casue me dispense either manual 1 or manual 5 in the manual setting, i can't stop either of them until they stop dispensing by their program. If there is a dedicated seperate center button in the binding, i can interrupt to stop both the Forward and afterward dispense program during their dispensing.
  4. Is this what real f18 behaves?
  5. Hello, i found that the "CD"(countdown) function in Timeufc in HSI cannot stop the countdown after started when I was trying to replicate the grim reaper's tutorial In his video, he can start and stop the count down using the ENTER button in UFC, whereas I can't. If I want to stop the CD, the only way is to cancel it and start counting again. What should i do about it? f18 UFC countdown can't stop #2 .trk f18 UFC countdown can't stop .trk
  6. So you are saying the only way to edit the bomb laser code is through the ground crew?
  7. But the Hornet can edit the bomb laser code through MFD, isn’t this sort of a bug? I learned through Tricker’s video It works fine for him
  8. Hello, i found out recently when i was training to use various laser bombs in f18, using the TGP(litening for instance) with gbu16 or 12 or 10, The bombs cannot be guided with laser when was set to the same laser code(different from the orignial code when loaded by ground crew) on both TGP and bombs in MFD on ground or in the air(and yes I arm the laser) It sometimes could only guide properly when the the bomb laser code was edited on "Rearm &Refuel page" on ground, editing the bomb laser code through MFD after loading doesn't work, even in the air, it won't guide through the TGP laser. I think it is a bug, here is my trackfile f18 GBU12 success .trk F18 GBU16 laser .trk f18 GBU12 fail .trk
  9. Here is some help if you find that your f14's ccrp bombing mode(Computer target) reticle in binkling none stop and cannot designate 1 Don't switch the hud mode into A/G at ground, it would result in a eternal blink of that diamond and cannot designate after you take off, To slove this, cycle to different Hud mode after you take off, and cycle back to A/G, it would still blinking, but when you move down the diamond reticle, it will stop blinking and you can designate. 2 If you already airborne, and it still blinking when you switch on the Hud A/G mode in air, then you should move the diamond reticle down a lot and it would stop blinking, normally this would happen only when you at really high altitude. Actually, you should switch on the A/G hud mode only after you take off, this can fundmentally prevent the first issue I mentioned

  10. Just bought a damper Can any real Apache guy tell me how stiff is to move the Apache's pedal in real life so i can set a realistic damper setting
  11. If you find problems that cannot make your f18 compatible to SRS "such as intermittent unstable transmission or cannot use "radio switch work as ptt" here is serval possible way 1 some older module like 18 or harrier are not compatible to "radio switch as PTT" function in SRS, you need to set the key bind yourself, other modules work just fine without the key bind 2 try to change to other key bind to the f18's radio, some hotas' buttons are pretty wizardry which may cause unstable connection,
  12. And the comm 1 in hornet behave wiredly, sometimes it is transmitting, sometimes it interrupts intermittently, and sometimes it don’t transmit , when I’m holding the ptt button
  13. I mean without setting those binding in srs, others works just fine like f14,
  14. Hello, i find out recently that some early modules like(f18 or f16 or av8 harrier) are not compatible with SRS's "radio switch work as PTT" function. I have to set the dedicated key bind in SRS to use the radio in those aircraft, and is pretty inconvenient for me Many modules are compatible (even early one like uh1) are compatible with this function. It would be good if those modules were also compatible with this function
  15. I recommend to use the free flight mission in Caucasus to train with this, with more training you can understand about the aircraft more, and with greater flexibility, some of the important details are hard to explain and is wordy, i think the reflected simulation or the heatblur manual should make a tutorial about it
  16. you can also try other way. 1 you have a good spatial awareness that can imagenate the direction of the carrier runway and fly and align towards it, which could be very confusing sometimes. 2 you fly a circle around the carrier and align to the back, which is very unreliable because you don't know how much turn is right to maintain a circle 3 you f10
  17. Hello, I would like to share my experience on how to align to the correct heading to the back of the carrier in f14's case 3. Before contacting the carrier, make sure you switch on all the things right(TACAN, ICLS, Data Link, Radio, etc....). After you contact the carrier and receiving its "final bearing" and turning the course nob to its direction in HSI, Here is how to align to the back of carrier: 1. If the given final bearing is (let's say 57 degrees), then you should steer your aircraft's heading to the opposite side of that direction (+180, 237 degrees),which is the "exact opposite side of the of outer course needle, the side without the arrow", and fly towards it. 2. If nothing goes wrong, you will see that the direct "direction indicating small triangle"(the outer most small one), is slowing and graduately moving towards the outer course needle(from either left or right), meaning you are aligning. 3. After the triangle and the outer course needle is getting fairly close or overlapping, the inner needle will start to approach to the center, meaning you are getting very close to the course, it could be the time when you should begin steering the nose back to the course arrow direction. 4. However, there could be times when you will find that the outer triangle will get really slow aligning to the outer course arrow when getting close, that is the time your should steer BACK left or right to the course direction and start aligning, 5. If i did not get it wrong, "the outer course arrow is the course direction of your aircraft" and the "inner one is the course of the carrier" 6. If you are getting aligned closer(triangle and arrow are closing) and start steering the aircraft to the side where the inner arrow rest on(either left or right side), the course will align more precisely and faster, which is when you steer to the side the inner needle rest on (like 90 degrees left or right to the outer arrow) . Many Tomcatters do know how to do approach in case 3 either manual or ACLS through Youtube tutorial, but they find it struggling to establish the correct heading to the back of the carrier, the HSI symbology of the cat is not so easily understandable to that of the hornet. nullThat's all I got, you would need more experience and improvise to do this thing, my explanation is pretty unflexible f14 case3 heading .trk
  18. I heard there is a new tail rotor model that is WIP on Apache any news about it ? Or it already implemented. By the way, the rudder trim during ground taxi is still off
  19. Oh, I figured out the issue now, the pilots have to steer the hud reticle to the cpg crossing, and then there will be launch approval. otherwise it won’t shoot
  20. Isn’t it should be directly point to the target and then launch approve beeping?
  21. Hello, i just start to learn how to fly and fight with Hind recently. One of the preplexing thing when I use atgm at cpg station and possibly a bug is 1 the launch approval standard for atgm is werid, when I switch on all the necessary things right, the atgm doesn't want to launch unless the "aiming scope" is pointing probably straight and level, instead of pointing down towards the target, as a results, i have to firstly find that sweet spot where launching light &beeping happens, and then launch and then steer the missle to the target. 2 If I cannot get that launch approval, i cycle the "OBSERVE" switch on the panel, and suddenly the launch approval beeps and can be launched again, and after a few seconds it cannot be launched(beeping and light go off), if I launch it before it go off, it still could be launched. The hind atgm launch in the trainning mission don't behave that mythically at all,the launch approval is much more stable and can be launch when pointing down to the target. So it could be a bug, here is my file mi24 cpg aiming bug .trk mi24 cpg aiming bug 2 .trk mi24 cpg aiming bug 3 .trk
