    I can not get the Radios to work on my huey helicopters or the KA 50s even when on easy radio with a hot start. is there a new procedure other than tuning and turning radios on that I have missed ? or is it a bug in my system? Let me know f any one has an Idea. Thanks

    Problem was solved by replacing a UI Lua file supplied by Screamer63 in the Viacom section Thanks

    Thanks Mate your Lua file worked a treat for me I had completely lost the coms Key not sure why Maybe it was the viacom that corrupted the original and maybe it was me anyway thanks

    Dose any one know how to turn Coms /coms menu the default back slash still shows on the UI Key board control menu the General key board control Menu and the joystick menus for the individual planes is there some other way to turn coms menu on there is also no read back sound when using voice attack so coms must be switched off

    Thanks Sirrah scrub previous question fond it. It works fine now thanks again but these things should be provided by Viacom pro people its there product and for PC trogs like myself there should be a step by step guide. in terms that an idiot like myself can understand.

    since latest update possibly penultimate update the MFDs do not show map mode on the FA 18 C either in SA or HSI is this a bug or is it my computer. has any one else noticed this problem ?

    Regarding Pontus Campaign at the End of mission two if you don't count the intro mission I find it impossible to save the progress out of curiosity I left it for 45 mins after pressing the end mission tab and have no idea how much of the mission was left to update. the problem is most likely my end. however could some one point me in the right direction. Is it a bug or should I look at my ( cashe  limit not sure how you spell it )I have it on small so as not to get the overload of mem. it transfers at under 1mb/s should it transfer data quicker? any way if anybody is familiar with this problem Id be much obliged if you could point me in the right direction.

    Thanks mate cant find way to change the about tab in the config to register the extensions it just says Viacom Pro if I just put in the other keys it simply says its the wrong Key. All ok now must have left a letter in from the (enter Key Here) easily done in case anyone else dose the same thing . thanks for your time and answer much appreciated

    Got the Viacom pro full pack went to down load all but it failed so I downloaded individual extensions got all the keys but you cant download the Interactive Knee board or the Realistic ATC without having to buy them again tried contacting them but no answer yet. So if anyone knows what to do and can inform me I would be much Obliged. thanks have also asked in the general section but hope fully this seems like a good place to ask hope Ive entered it correctly as a reply my Order ID is 0084729483

    Got the Viacom pro full pack went to down load all but it failed so I downloaded individual extensions got all the keys but you cant download the Interactive Knee board or the Realistic ATC without having to buy them again tried contacting them but no answer yet. So if anyone knows what to do and can inform me I would be much Obliged. thanks have also asked in the general section but hope fully this seems like a good place to ask hope Ive entered it correctly as a reply

    Its not necessarily a bad thing ( true to Life ) But missions are selected and influenced by weather reports Low clouds and fog for Eg not conducive to search and destroy missions. I assume we will depend more heavily on Radar etc. I hope all you selfless mission builders who many of us rely on will take that into consideration. It will make life harder for us less skilled to overcome but in any case hopefully should add to the sense of achievement when a mission goes well. Just a suggestion but maybe cloud conditions could be added to mission descriptions as well. many thanks to all you selfless mission builders out there. and ED for a beautiful and enjoyable update.

    Thanks Lange_666 yes I checked both DCS stable and openbeta they are Identical, both have (Tacview Module Enabled) and ( Flight Data recording ) ticked but only DCS stable saves tracks to Tacview file. I checked and they are Identical in all other respects ((( that I can see ))). Thanks again for your Time on this

    I recently got new PC moved DCS and then downloaded my tacview all works well I then moved my DCS openBeta but did not have tacview so redownloaded Tacview and it installed on the DCS openBeta ok. BUT I cannot get openBeta to save tracks to <Documents> / Tacview folder the DCS stable still works fine, all looks the same. ( Dose anyone know what has to be done to get openBeta to save tracks to tacview folder ? ) Thanks

    thanks Oozler I also use Rift S I got round it by the taking a photo with my mobile not very technical but it works for a PC troglodyte like myself. Just one thing in the campaign (at least on my computer) I found the targeting pod, way point designator are out of sync if you have trouble hitting anything or your solution bar is way out that's what I found out when I used Jsow designated by the waypoint hit the targets but my FLIR was looking at an empty field. ( that may be Just my computer problem so I'm going to try re installing . If you think I should report it or you know of this problem let me know. once again thanks for your time. Ps (it all works fine any were else)

    Hi I've recently purchased Pontus campaign but going by Redkites preview and your own Instructions (as I understand them ) you assign the Flights By (either renaming the Flights to say Cap Bravo etc or by renaming the respective trigger zones as in Redkites video however in my version I can not change the flight names. and the trigger zones are not visible so I cant rename them either. is the released version different ? or is my version not working correctly ? would appreciate your response for this otherwise good product. many thanks message I sent to Redkite comments if anyone here has an answer again I would appreciate it REPLY

    Thanks Oozler for your help The fault is mine forgot to mansion I use VR so Print screen dose not work there is a way but for me it is too complicated but if I run it on 2d I will use your method. thanks again

    Hi recently got pontus campaign finished 1 mission instructions just say print screen ( all very well ) but no mention as to where it goes or how to view it. not saved in pictures or Prt sc folder I've noted code with pen and paper. will it work on next mission. ? just to say prt sc seems a bit vague to me.

    how can I access the relevant planes coms menus without going into the game? to program voice attack I can find the coms menu in the document for the A10-C to program the Voice attack but for all the other planes the docs don't have the coms menu is there a site where I can get the menu or some way to access them outside of the game ?

    zhukov032186 Thanks for your constructive advise I will look into it although I'm a bit of a troglodyte with Pcs So Ill have to wait for some wiz kid to share a mod 'speed of heat' did suggest a mod if you can read it maybe you can give it a try I could not work out how to install it.

    looking back is not disorientating ( nor is looking forwards ) if I swivel my chair I'm looking back don't feel any nausea I know I'm looking back. Ill give you that non 1 to 1 movement may be a bad Idea for some but as I still maintain an auxiliary view is not disorientating unless you get travel sickness in a car if the seat is looking towards the rear this however is not for a prolonged time what you are suggesting is that for some reason ED could never release a plane with a rear gunner and every one who takes the place of a side gunner on the helicopter would some how become ill, Is that what you are suggesting??? don't forget some people just get motion sickness wearing VR so they probably don't use it
