You sure can paint the glass. It's in the 'mi_8glass.dds' file. Using my template you'd want to paint on areas 6 and 7, and remove those sections from the Alpha mask as well.

Is the latest and most up-to-date version of the manual the one that is downloaded with the module, or is a better version availab.e somewhere else?

I joined one of the 4YA servers yesterday which has the planes hot-started on the ground. As soon as I was in the cockpit (and maybe before) the plane started accelerating like the throttle was pushed all the way forward, even though the physical (TM.16000) throttle was pulled back completely. This happened several times, and maybe on other servers, I can't remember exactly. Sometimes I was able to hit the parking brake and quickly move the throttle forward and back to idle, but other times, especially on slow-loading Syria maps) the plane had already flown into something before I was able to try and stop it. Has anyone else noticed this? I do have "sync cockpit controls with HOTAS controls at mision start" enabled, and I've not experienced this behavior with any other modules.

could you use another button on your joystick or throttle as a modifier? Button 1 = trigger; Button 1 + Modifier = weapon release?

Is it possible to move or toggle the text that shows up at the top right corner of the screen, mostly during multiplayer games and training missions? It appears right on top of the communication menu, making it hard to interact with those functions. Chris

So, was that an Mi-8 with the wall behind the pilots removed? Or was it a different helicopter?

Is this still the only way to get the correct names from ATC? I jumped from Syria to Normandy and ATC still used Caucasus' names in Normandy.

I'd love to see a description of the mission when selecting an Instant Action mission/experience. Also, I wish that there was a launch or fly button to start the mission instead of starting when a selection is made. A little less "instant", but better than starting a flight on accident

Yep, that did the trick!

Your cyclic position in the controls indicator leads me to think you have the "control helper" enabled in the Special menu. Try turning that off, as well as the rudder trimmer. For the Trimmer Mode, set it to default. I found the Hind much easier to fly with these settings. It's not going to let you push a button and walk away, though. You'll still need to give it a bit of left/right and up/down trim every so often.
