Comparing different demographics in relation to sales and protection methods... The easier the protection can be broken, the easier non-paying people get their hands on it, the less money the developer makes from sales, which in turn leaves less money for resources and future additions, projects, and in turn robs 'YOU' of the hard earned money used to buy 'YOUR' copy of the product. I'll support copy-protection. Especially for ED, top product, best SIM ever! And I respect their right to protect it. As for UBI.... well... who cares. My 2 cents.

A 'kill' denotes you shot someone down. A 'death' denotes you were shot down. Eject all you want, you still gonna lose that point for being shot down.(aircraft kill).

Best thing to do is get the 'no canopy scratches' mod (http://www.lockonskins.com? or one of the others sites), as using AF may cause those canopy scratches to look very nasty :) But watch the same Lockon Replay while you play with settings, and see what you think is best for you. :)

I think it caused anomalies for me as well, cant recall, I just use 1600x1200 2xAA 4xAF, and yes it is available on my x800Pro.

I believe 'dreyou server' introduced the first 'stats' to the community. I dont understand where your going with this... Yes Zorlac deserves a great Thankyou. His stats that he created is liked by the whole community all can agree on. Zorlac has my personal gratitude even for helping me through the stages of how he created his stats board..but anyway thats another story.. This post was not about 'promoting' anything. Simply put.. more of our members saw this post than you did, and hence posted in it as a TY, as 'majority' of the squad have 'not' even seen what we've created so far.. so TY guys for your comments. We have worked endlessly all nights for quite some weeks on this, and its still not finished. Simply put if I may, we've realised an early verison for all to enjoy. I had 'exactly' the same issue you have experienced. The solution: go into the LockOn Options, and remove every key related to 'Views'... keyboard and joystick.ie. view-up-left, view-left, etc etc (Since your using TrackIR you dont need anything mapped to views for now). The cause seemed to be a stuck key issue(view up-left). Which very well could have been my POV hat on joystick which I have mapped for trim at the time. After 'clearing' all key from keyboard/joystick commands from using any 'View' function, I havnt had the problem since. Try it out, best of luck. Sure was an annoying problem ;)

Welcome back! Or should I say 'Welcome back Home'! :) I had a similar setup to yours. Athlon 2500, GF5900XT, 1GB RAM. I recently upgraded to Athlon64 3700(sandiego),ATI X800Pro, 1GB RAM . And the performance is 3 fold! TrackIR should be a must, it makes the sim so much more surreal, frees up keys/joystick POV hat for view as well.

Welcome to the LockOn community. :) Make sure you go through the ingame training tracks, and there is also some excellent tutorials made by Ironhand. There is so much to learn in this sim, but once you have learnt the fudamentals of avionics, weapon systems, and navigation.. your online experience will be like no other. I get fps freezes happening every few seconds or so, over certain areas. Was completly smooth in 1.11 Not sure what to make of it.
