The other night myself and squadron wingman were flying on the 504 server. We were heading across the bay pass a frigate to our 5oclock, when suddenly my wingman reports hes been fired on from his rear,then I see tracers fly past my canopy. We went defensive and I checked six, thinking a bandit was on our six trying to gun us down. But it was a friendly frigate that was firing upon us. Why he was firing at us we had no idea, and I'm pretty sure it was another captains frigate further out that had a lovely daughter my wingman met once, so a motive was out of the question. :P Any once else encountered friendly fire from ships yet at low alt.? P.S We were flying Hogs.

The 'maxmimum performance' setting in your Nvidia Control Panel. Move this slider or select 'High Quality' instead. I found that anything other than 'high quality' setting would cause bad fps, graphic glitches, overall bad gameplay. Leave your AGP on 128 or 256! Its a setting for video addressable memory. Important. On a final note* Never trust the latest drivers. Performance still bad on drivers that came with video card CD(driver cd)? Hope you get it fixed soon.

Ive recently began making my own skins and cockpit textures. I noticed that the F15 Weapons Display is a N(night).TGA file and has cokcpit lights imposed on the Weapon display when lights are used(L key), however not for the Radar or the TEWS. I'd like to apply an alpha to these as well, is there any way I can do this? Does the *-N.tga(night) extension only apply to the Weapon display or can I apply it somehow also to the RADAR and the TEWS. thanks for your help. ;)

Few tips and suggestions for you. Ive noticed alot of people having problems with Nvidias new drivers here and there. Have you tried the 71.xx drivers or slightly higher? AGP Aperture set to 256(256meg card) or 128(128meg card). Fast write OFF. Thats all Ican think of now. Hope it may help. :)

For those that haven't tried this out yet, get it NOW. I got nailed bad for the first few tries, but after a few more rounds, my confidence got better and so have my skills I think. Next stop is to put those skills Ive been practicing aginst real opponents. :) Its the perfect track/mission for guns only training, I highly recommend it. And its also highly FUN and addictive single and multiplayer alike. S! ICE Love your work. :)

You can use the LOMAN Addon Maker. Quite simple to use. Select the files youve edited add them to the package. Then build it. then its just as simple as using LOMAN AddOn Manager to install to use. Enjoy :)

First time I tried the Beta it asked to insert a CD. Second download I tried it prompted me on the same file you've mentioned. So... I gave up, went back to the previous final version.

I'd go for 128 mate. The higher the better. In relation to LockOn, I have no idea of any performance increase,etc. But 128 is better than 64 in RAID 0 for performance.

FX55 will still reign king. I see know info yet how how any Intel dualcore will run in a gaming environment. Its benefits in multithreaded performance maybe, but not in a gaming environment.not for a few yrs anyway. Didnt you ever notice on games that green/black AMD symbol? ;)

Try the 61.76 drivers. http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=824 Best I found for my Gigabyte 5900XT. Unload current Nvidia drivers first from Control Panel/Add Remove Programs, before installing new ones.

ZoneAlarm sucks, period. try out Kerio Personal Firewall(still operates after trial period, just removes a couple of functions), or sygate Personal Firewall. Never had any issues with Kerio whilst flying online. Gotta hate those BSOD's! The only BSOD Ive had on this computer was with LockOn, which spat the dummy on kmixer.sys. Ended up downclocking my memory, never seen the problem since.
