Hey guys, I run a small coop server from my apartment on an extra PC, I got a few people asking for the missions. So I figured, maybe some might enjoy them here too. You can download them here: http://www.quirkitized.com/wp/?page_id=86 Each mission has lots of targets and waypoint goals you need to clear before you can activate next waypoint. Some are really easy, a couple might be a little harder. But overall, they are good fun missions, and some mission you gotta get use to using your UB-13 rockets :). You can fly these without 8 people, typically 4 is a good amount, as there are lots of targets(usually), 8 is better. Hope you enjoy.

This should come out in the patch, I believe they said they are fixing triggers. So in patch we will be able to add messages correctly when a trigger is activated. Can't wait for the patch! -

Ah ha...., alrightythen, thanks! I was wondering why i didn't see the screenshot message anymore, and I seen "/mybad" messages spammed a few times on the server box when there was some "cool action" going on :D I'm glad you took it out, nice to not see that message on client side. -
Ya, worked great for me...I hope it works for some others. The sound was so loud before I used these fixes that I thought my ears were going to bleed, it was massively loud lol. If it doesn't work for people that have the same problem, not sure what to say :(

Just curious, why do I see it say "received the command: "/mybad" from player xxxx" I see it quite a bit. -
It didn't work for me either so I just went to Realtek site. Here they are directly for those that don't want to search after not being able to get them from first post. Realtek Fix: Step 1 - Goto Realtek site: http://www.realtek.com/ then click on "HD Audio Codec Driver" on the bottom right side under Quick Links. Step 2 - Hit "I accept to the above." Step 3 - Download "3D SoundBack Beta 0.1" (there site can be slow, be patient) Step 4 - Install, and goto C:\Program Files (x86)\Realtek\3D Sound Back Beta0.1 Step 5 - Open program Click ADD GAME Game: DCS Game path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50\bin Click OK Done. For CREATIVE ALCHEMY It is the same deal as Realtek, so I will post short verison. Just go to http://support.creative.com/downloads/download.aspx?nDownloadId=10922 . Hit AGREE, download it, and install/use it just like realtek mentioned above. The Creative was 100% fix for me, the realtek fixed it a good 98% i'd say. Once in awhile the sound is just a "tad" higher, so i just open/close door or ext view then back into cockpit view but it was nothing like before I used these fixes, it was unbearable.

This was posted in the lock on forums months ago, but it works for blackshark as well, since both have the same problem in vista. It worked great for me on my Creative Xfi and my onboard Realtek sound. You are using the old, out dated software. The new saitek profiling software using .pr0 files, they are not compatible with each other. I cant save it as .dat, sorry :(. Download new software here: http://www.saitekforum.com/showthread.php?t=16643 You will want the new software as it fixes things with different modifiers. -

BTW, This is such an amazing addition to the game that it should be posted in general discussion and mods forum. Yes that's excessive but this mod truly is something that should of been shipped with the game, its that good. It has made having a server so much easier to maintain and hands free. Just blows my mind how good this is! keep up good work! -

Very nice release, thanks so much. I have it running on my small coop server. Its so great to have maps rotated and mission automatically unpaused, BS needed this so bad. Greatest mod for it so far. I really appreciated it! You made being an admin/runnin a server 100x easier! -

If the manual is only $55 USD, that is insane. I got qouted nearly $250 at local kinkos to get it printed in full color, with it all done in a neat binder and put together with a cover. Hell, its nearly $40 in full black and white. I highly doubt it will be $55....i wonder how much money they lose with it at $55.... but I wont complain if its $55 :) -

How do you go about specifically banning a player? I see the "net-server" log and the "network-#####" log, but can't see any logs or files or where to ban a certain playername or IP. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I might as well ask if there is going to be a "Grid" option as well....would be nice to have a grid over the editor, easier to align units and placement... Sorry for the questions in a new thread but I couldnt find anything from searches, no idea what to search for to try and see if somebody asked these questions.

Hi guys, I was wondering if you think maybe sometime in the future it would be possible to make a "Highlight/Selection Box" a area on the map, and everything "within" that box, gets highlighted, and you can save it as a template? Not sure how I can explain it, but think of using photoshop or something similar where you can use a "Rectangular Marquee Tool", you just hold down your left mouse button, drag the box to the area you want to consume, and let off the mouse and your box is complete....you can then save everything in that box as a template. This would be extremely helpful I think when creating FARPs or Enemy base camps, or anything in general. I could see this saving mass amounts of time. The current default template is a great addition to the old lockon style editor. Right now we are just limited to units and not static objects. I think it would be great if you could just select an "area" with a "box" and everything in that "box" you could save as a template. Just imagine you get a FARP all setup with vehicles, static objects, barracks, command post, a nice little "base camp" you could save it and use it over and over. Is there anything planned for that is maybe too hard to add? something so small but I think would be a really awesome touch to the editor.

I wish there was a solution to that, as I have the same problem. If I want to play BS in dual screen I have to (ontop of doing all the manual editing to options.lua and making own monitor.luea): Open Catalyst Control Center Switch To Horizontal Mode Swap Displays Then I have to redo it all after I exit to play other games. Hopefully ED will come up with something to make it easier, maybe by the time its ready to ship for retail or next patch. -

Ok, fair enough. I'll continue to work on my desktop monitor positions etc and fine tune it some more. It looks like the "External view bar" is all the way across screen, for instance when im in cockpit, it shows up...i'll have to try to take it off, if it means removing that bar, thats fine. This is becoming a real pain in the ass, just to get dual monitors working, you have to do hours of studying, code changing, adding, desktop setups, monitor swapping...idk if i want to go through all the monitor swapping and setup options each time I want to play BS. This is by far the biggest pita i've had to deal with in a game as long as i can remember lol. -

Ok guys thanks, I will work on this now and fine tune it with your settings and try some more. Scatter, that script works perfect. Except I would like "Main view" on primary monitor, shkval/abris on other, basically just swap them...how do I do that with your script? I'll try to figure it out. But yeah that works great, I can see command menu, and info bar, everything shows up. I also adjusted my options correctly like ruprecht showed. Here is a screenshot. Like I said, it works great!! I just need to get cockpit and abris/shkval swapped screens. Could you help me with that? Edit: If I choose "Swap Display Mapping" in my cards control center, I can then get cockpit on the screen infront of me. But this isn't practical as its the monitor to my right and not in front of me, so anything on desktop and in game is really hard to work with...surely there is a way to swap the displays in your script?
