  1. A lot of people want this, as it always seems to be requested in feature lists, etc. So far no luck, but hopefully sometime in the future they will add this...
  2. Where is the download link? I must be going blind...
  3. I tried that but it didn't work for me :( Edit: Oh damnit, it was grayed out so I didn't even bother clicking it because I thought it didn't work...why does it have to be grayed out! You are right sir! I will update the original post to reflect the changes you said.
  4. So being a longtime saitek user I was sad to see how the TARGET software is (at least imo.) I missed the easy ability to config the controller, so after trying to mess around with the software I gave up. All I wanted to do was make my pinky lever a modifier so I could double all the buttons on my hotas. In the end I can't believe it was so simple, overlooked it easily. It is a shame because by default there is no modifier on the joystick, but here you can easily add it manually. 1. Goto Options > Controls 2. Bottom left corner, click MODIFIERS 3. It will be grayed out by default but you can still click it, simply click ADD. Select the TM Warthog Joystick and add "JOY_BTN4" as your modifier (or hit the button you want to be the modifier) This works because by default, Joy_BTN4 the pinky lever is not keybound to anything, and it is in a very good spot for a modifier button. You should now be able to use your pinky lever as a shift/modifier, effectively doubling all your TM Warthog buttons. This is so simple and easy, you can just config your buttons in-game, no extra software needed! Simply hit the pinky lever before you keybind a new button to your stick so it will use it as a modifier. I can now enjoy mapping my landing gear, wheel brake, external views or anything! For me it was really great for those buttons plus the zooming in and out because the TM Warthog does not have a easy thumb rotatory. So what I did was mapped the zoom in (num*) to the pinky + DMS UP and zoom out (num/) pinky + DMS Down, just like the zoom in/out for the TGP so it's very natural. Just an example, as I think a lot of people aren't sure what to map the zoom to also.
  5. In your TGP on the top left, goto CNTL button. Once there, on the right side turn LSR Latch to ON. By default the laser will time out after a few sec, i forgot the default time. If you put latch to on, the laser will remain active and lasing after you press the nosewheel button. It will not stop lasing until you press it again. This works with external views and back into cockpit. edit: nvm it looks like you know how to use latch, not sure why the external view thing is messing it up maybe it's just timing out or maybe you let go of the button? I will try it myself some time also, curious to see.
  6. turn laser latch on, or maybe it's off.... i can't remember off the top of my head....this is also covered in the training heh
  7. Yup the nose wheel button once in air is your laser. edit: sniped !
  8. I do it via the training mission way, go into the gbu-12 profile, change from ccip to ccrp (if you prefer ccrp). Go into the advance settings page (bottom left of profile, button) change AUTO LASE to ON and change the auto lase time to about 10sec before impact. You can also manually lase the target. I had the same problem as you until I re-did the training and did the auto lasing, I haven't missed a target since. Overall you are doing it correctly I just think you had same problem as me, just not using the laser properly.
  9. I am also very impressed with the performance as I am running 3x24" lcds with two 580 gtx's @ 5250x1050 (Bezel corrected res.) all high settings. I couldn't be happier.
  10. Agreed. I hate seeing the stupid crosshair when I don't need it.
  11. Use CCIP with guns if you still want to see your target box with crosshairs. Not gunmode with ccip reticule but ccip mode. You will need to change an option in the HUD I forgot what this is but I am sure somebody will answer it real soon. I've been waiting for beta 6 so I haven't played in awhile, nearly forgot everything already =(
  12. I have three 24" LCDs for nvidia surround (2d) running by two gtx 580s in sli and all I will say is that it is amazing. Like others have said, for flight sims it's just pure awesome. edit: if it matters I did hook my pc up to our 46" samsung lcd tv and I still prefer the three wide 24"s...
  13. You bought the final, retail release version of the game. Playing the beta is a nice bonus until the finished product is out. edit: got in before me...lol
  14. If you could be so kind to continue and make more threads like this, I will eventually consider myself a genius.
  15. Asus Rampage III Formula. If it matters, PSU is Corsair AX1200, no problems so far... Although I have to admit, every once in awhile I will take a peek underneath my throttle cover to see if the green lights are still on. I also feel guilty doing it...
  16. Didn't you see my hollywood disclaimer? :D
  17. Because you're not a hot shot unless your hair is blowing in the wind going mach 1. Hollywood baby.
  18. Also for the sake of searches of same topic, if you're using Google Chrome web browser, it may not show you your cd-key, it will say you're logged in but you're not. I built my new system a month ago and had this same problem, so I just went to the site with Internet Explorer and fixed it.
  19. THANK YOU Xerxes84 !!! This worked PERFECT for Black Shark and A-10C!!
  20. Get the new TrackIR drivers, it works with 64bit dcs a10 then you don't have to worry about the 32bit. http://www.naturalpoint.com/trackir/06-support/support-download-software-and-manuals.html
  21. Yup it's a X-65F. You can clearly see the throttle base, and the angle of it, as well as being black makes it the X-65F. Nice covers though!
  22. I don't have SLI but my friend does and he does not get SLI peformance in starcraft 2 or warcraft in windowed mode, or f1 2010. Switch to full-screen and he gets the sli boost in fps. He has two 285's so not sure if that has something to do with it.
  23. You guys aren't running windowed mode are you? SLI does not work in window mode, make sure you are using full screen for any game in regards to SLI.
  24. Yes, sorry I did not state that. My list I made was from Beta 2, however it's more or less the same and can get you started.
