That is so true, Valve, Id Software, Crytek all shutdown because they released the source code to their games. oh, wait, they are among the most successful development houses in history.

Lets see Id Software Crytek Valve Bi Studio (to a lesser extent) And I wasn't talking about releasing the source code to the game itself (like the companies above), only to one of the AFMs for reference which is what I said above.

Really people can't read reviews. Please. And who says that most of the releases will be payware, most would be freeware like most other FS communities.

Actually Aaron, they don't have to teach it, all they would have to do is release the source code for one of their AFMs. Lets not kid ourselves, ED is not doing this to prevent low quality models from being released, they are doing it to prevent ULTRA high quality models from being released unless they get a piece of the pie, nothing wrong with that, that is their business model and they have every right to it but lets not try and pretend that there aren't some extremely talented people in this and other communities that could program circles around the guys at ED.

He sent me his file worked good, doesn't crash, new problem, it sinks into the runway a few feet and won't take off anymore. I can still go forward, throttle works but no matter what I do, it won't take off.

Anyone have any good tutorials on fixing the collision detection. My a/c takes off fine but immediately explodes on landing.

Still stuck Unfort, not much help there. There are bits and pieces of info, but very scattered and I suspect some are leaving info out.

Odd, this many people viewing this and not a single reply. Does anyone know what could be causing this.

I have my model in the game, flys well, takes off well BUT when my wheels touch down, the aircraft explodes. Any ideas.

Are you kidding me , a WEEK to answer a support ticket. Holy Crap. And I thought BELL had bad customers service.

Wanted to add , that I ordered FC3 today got error code 2. I too got a transaction number generated by ED and of course the money was deducted from my paypal account but no game/code in either my account or via email. Entered a support ticket, no response from that either. HELLO, is anyone there. Here is a helpful suggestion for ED , if you are witnessing problems with your transactions STOP TAKING ORDERS until you sort it out. This has been going on for a while now, and no solution in sight, no real answers from ED only MODS which AFAIK aren't employees of ED and therefore can't really provide any "REAL" answers only suggestions and guesses. AND For gods sake, have an actual employee visit the support forums once in a while and help those who are having problems.
