So the announcement last week that 1.2.9 was being made to release the Sabre was wrong, guess this means the Sabre isn't coming in July and Now I highly doubt the DORA isn't coming on Aug 5th either.
-
Was it. it was a direct question and the response was 'how shall I say it', less than direct.
-
Not sure I get it
-
You don't really expect an answer to that do you :megalol:

Except they have said the MODULE IS COMPLETED. I understand ALL ABOUT DELAYS, I am a software developer in my day job. BUT frankly I would have fired if I made the estimations these guys have made and missed them but this much. In parting I will quote Cobra "Soon is exactly the timeframe we are looking at for release", quoted from last july. Almost a year ago.
-
"#2 -- We never said we'll release on 1.2.8. We said 1.2.8 was the target version for release." I am sorry to say but that is a difference without a disctinction http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Distinction_without_a_difference Then again, so is the May-Jun 'release date'. May - Jun is an estimate and if you had released within May-Jun then you would be perfectly right in saying it was an estimate and you never missed it BUT when you aren't released in JULY, you missed it.
-
That is a very interesting perspective that you only set ONE release date, MAY-JUN 2014 IS a release date because if by the end of JUNE you haven't released you have missed your release date. To put it into perspective, if you bought a car and the dealer told you we will have to you in May or June and it is now the 13th of July, I would bet all the money I have you would say that the dealer did not make his date that he gave you. Now having said that, I fully understand WHY you didn't make your release dates. I think what is upsetting a fair number of people is that you guys said , you were releasing with 1.2.8 and that appears not to be true anymore even though you said that integration is what was holding you up and now it looks like 1.2.8 integration has stopped and you guys have moved on to 1.3.0 (which means it could be quite a while till release). And of course once again you have said "What till you guys see what we have in store", yet we rarely see WHAT YOU HAVE IN STORE. you released 1 video (and it was great) a week ago, and we were told another video was coming, and still nothing on that front either. So right now I will make my own prediction: MIG-21 release date will be Sep 24th. Lets see how close I am.
-
That's not good news at all, I figured we would get the Mig in the next couple of weeks, but if you guys are now shooting for 1.3.0, this means the MIG is still a long ways off, if ED is putting out a 1.2.9 and then moving on to 1.3.0, holy crap.
-
I would love to see some daytime video of the startup procedure.
-
I wasn't looking at MAY, I was looking at the wrong area in June but that is neither here or there, I apologized, just accept that in the spirit in was intended.
-
You are correct, just rechecked the date , looked at the wrong date, I apologize.

06-28-2014, 04:33 PM Just cut and pasted from post in question, that is when it was posted, 28 of June which unless my calendar is screwed up was WED. BTW, just click on the first post of this thread, that is where he said it.
-
I will say this now and directed at Cobra. Man just don't say anything anymore until you can type the following "Mig 21 is released, please go to the store to purchase". I am not saying this because I don't want info, I am saying it because there probably isn't 2 or 3 posts in this entire forum where you have made statements that included dates that you have actually lived up to. I will ask this now and I doubt it will be answered, did the "PREVIEW/REVIEW" copies go out this week. I ask because I have checked all the major game/sim sites for a review/preview and have seen nothing. This would indicate that they didn't.
-
OR we could go back to LAST WED when he made the first announcement and said this FRIDAY , then again he also said there would be an update within a week, which meant before this WED just past.
-
Don't worry, they said they would be giving the backers the module a week early but they are now even discussing that too, iow, that MIGHT not even be true.
-
The problem is that it WON'T be a finished product , there will be bugs and plenty of them. Their beta test team was probably very small with a small amount of machines and configs to test it on. This includes the installer, patcher etc. The reason is because ALL software has bugs and usually plenty of them, easy patching makes this absolute guarantee in todays software world.
-
Where is to the link that the Stream was cancelled. Not that I am shocked of course , since these guys haven't really lived up to any promise, hint, nudge or indication they have made so far.
-
I would assume ( I know I shouldn't assume) it is because you said that the MIG would be released while 1.2.8 was the released version.
-
That was so heavy stuff, right there. You forgot to mention the update coming early this week.
-
I think you will find that the release dates for 3rd party modules have more in common that you have led us to believe. After all , the devs of the Mig stated last week, that everything is DONE and yet no release, Perhaps just perhaps because ED is controlling the release.
-
If we carry that metaphor to its natural conclusion and to be more accurate. We are like kids who are looking at a christmas present from 2 years ago that mommy keeps telling us we can open and then keep changing her mind.
-
But, are you confirming you are going to miss the June release schedule since July 1st is TUE.
-
So, what you are saying is that ED has done its work, you have done your work, otherwise, those outside agencies wouldn't be able to do much of anything. Also, what about the promise that backers would be getting the A/C a week before the general public. Is this still being honored. So then we can rest assure, you are NOT making a june release date.
-
Do you mean the part where they say the delay wouldn't be very long. YUP, read that part.
