I'm currently optimizing the face of the African pilot. This new face will be shown in all African MiG-15 I've created and will create :)

Exotic Fagots MiG-15bis liveries are all based on MiG-15bis or MiG-15UTI and have dynamic BORT numbers. According my sources Guinea-Bissau only have one Mig-15UTI with BORT number "34" which is stored for years in a shelter and looks very bad :( Unfortunately I haven't found any real pictures of the Mozambique MiG-15 so the blue-greyish overall color could be slightly different. :music_whistling: One of Congo-Brazzaville's MiG-15UTI (#101) was found 1994 standing outside in a bad condition. :( Mongolia received some MiG-15bis and MiG-15UTI and the only picture of a Mongolian MiG-15 is #337 which is used as a gate guard. Release Notes v4: Algerian livery fixed v3: Algeria and Egypt added. All skins updated to use Rougness Metallic layer v2: Mongolia and Tanzania added, all BORT numbers and skins optimized v1: Initial release with Congo-Brazzaville, Guinea-Bissau and Mozambique Download: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3214603/

Both of my Sabre skins updated: F-86 Sabre "Father Dan" 51st FW, 25th FIS F-86E-10-NA Sabre 51-2738 FU-738 "Father Dan" was flown by 2nd Lt. Sam P. Young, 51st FW, 25th FIS. BORT numbers are enabled for MP (for historical Tail number use "738" in Mission Editor) Download: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/2541133/ Alaska Air National Guard This livery is semi-fictional for maintaining BORT numbers (Tail only). Historical Alaska ANG Sabres would have the BORT number on the wings too. Download: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3207244/

I'll see what I can do
-
Of course I'm interested but if you'd like to start it please go ahead. Tomorrow I should receive my repaired PC and can finally continue my work on the JASDF F-15C skin. In the meantime more WIP of the Alaskan Sabre. I fixed the amount of Orange on the wings and started the yellow / black stripes. I also finalized, as you see, the logos under the cockpit on both sides.

Has someone reference photos of how far red the wings have been on the metalic AK ANG Sabres? I‘ll do two AK ANG Sabre‘s, the one from above and this one:

For every Squadron I implemented one livery with valid fixed BORT numbers and a generic, more reflective one with dynamic BORT number. - 1st Kokudan 1st Hikotai - 2nd Kokudan 3rd Hikotai - 3rd Kokudan 8th Hikotai Japanese for Beginners Kokudan means Air Wing while Hikotai means Squadron Update 2020-03-22: Lots of fixes and "1st Kokudan 1st Hikotai" (4 liveries) as well as "3rd Kokudan 8th Hikotai" (2 liveries) added Download: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3308413/ Philippines Air Force The Philippine Air Force (PhAF) first received the Sabres in the form of F-86Fs in 1957, replacing the North American P-51 Mustang as their primary interceptor. F-86s first operated from Basa Air Base, known infamously as the "Nest of Vipers", where the 5th Fighter Wing of the PhAF was based. This F-86F wears insignia of the 5th Fighter Wing, as seen sometimes in the early 1970s. The PhAF F-86Fs were armed with AIM-9B Sidewinder missiles, and their main intended role was interception. Eventually, however, they were foremost used for air-to-ground attacks against different insurgents around the country. BORT numbers enabled for Multiplayer (for historical Tail number use "029" in Mission Editor). Update 2022-01-24: Tested with DCS 2.7.9 Download: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3320296/ Peruvian Air Force The Peruvian Air Force acquired 26 U.S.-built F-86Fs in 1955, assigned to Escuadrón Aéreo 111, Grupo Aéreo No.11 at Talara air force base. Finally retired in 1979. Both skins were made from real aircrafts (132 and 180) but contain dynamic BORT numbers. Update 2020-03-25: Initial release of 132 and 180, both with dynamic BORT numbers Download: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3308522/ Pakistan Air Force Pakistan acquired 102 U.S.-built F-86F-35-NA and F-86F-40-NAs, last of North American Aviation's production line, 1954–1960s. Unfortunately not :( My PC is currently with an external repair company. I have warranty until Summer so I don't do it myself :) I hope to receive it back in the next two weeks
-
As DonJosh said: I‘m motivated to update my Sabre skin and create a few more when my rig is repaired :)
-
Unfortunately my rig is in the repair shop :( I‘ll update them asap when I have my rig back.
-
Wow! Looking amazing! I‘ll have to update my Sabre skin the same way as soon as my ROG is back from the repair. Do you use SweetFx or Reshade?
-
The size of the alpha layer is the same size as the RGB layer of your livery file. Most of the DIF files don't need the alpha layer and that's why I save them as DXT1 (no alpha layer). This reduces the file size by 50%.
-
I save DXT1 with MipMaps
-
Great so I‘ll wait for the weathered one too
-
Great work rick but for my taste and my eyes this bird looks too clean :)

I know I'm not very fast but I make progress :smartass:

MonsterTech HOTAS Desk Mount
CHSubZero replied to Shogun0's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I ordered my MonsterTech Flight Stand today :) -
Here are the settings that snowsniper provided. The only things I changed in snowsnipers settings was to disable "USE_SMAA" and "USE_FXAA" because it looked too sharpen to me. Left side: DCS Default Right side: Reshade Oh I should mention that the screenshot was made in DCS 2.2.0 because I don't run on the OpenBeta line.
-
and I'm gonna try this this evening and will post a split-screenshot :smartass: thanks for sharing snowsniper
-
Slowly getting there... Nose still not finished

Does someone have a JSGME / OvGME compatible version of this ReShade mod and is very kind to give us a link :smartass: Thanks in advance

JASDF 52-8850 306th TFS Golden Eagles, JASDF 50th Anniversary This F-15C livery is based on the F-15J 52-8850 of the 306th Tactical Fighter Squadron, Japan Air Self Defense Force. This particular scheme was used for the 50th anniversary of the JASDF. A BIG THANKS to GeorgeLKMT who inspired me to do this livery. Please check out his amazing skins as well. Also a big thanks to him for allowing me to use his amazing japanese decals and the advice to use the black ejection seat. Release Notes v1 Initial release Bucket List Special painted fuel tank Optimize red color (it looks different in every picture I find) Download https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3302610/
