I've been meaning to ask someone coming from index to aero, I use my index with the lenses as far away from my eyes as they go (so smallest fov possible for index) how would that compare to the aero?

weirdly enough have you tried alt tabbing out of dcs for a few minutes and coming back?

awesome, got my preorder and eagerly awaiting it! can you describe in more detail your first point? being able to switch to desktop view in VR is pretty important to me, I can use the system button on my index to access my desktop via steamvr right now, how is it performed in the aero?

hey there! I was having this issue all of a sudden and fixed it by correcting some of my NVCP settings as advised in this comment:

I was having this issue in mp and this (specifically some of the NVCP settings that I had were different) seems to have corrected it. Thank you!

only mods I'm using are clearwater vr shaders, and mustang 2.7 shaders. tried repair already, what's weird is it's only the syria map EDIT marianas also has same crash, caucuses and Persian gulf both load fine with clearwater enabled.

Anyone else getting a game breaking error loading into syria with the clearwater shaders after todays update? I removed the mod and dcs was still broken, verified game files and loaded in fine, readded clearwater shaders and problem reappeared.

Hello all! I have (and love) a blackhog button box. But I have more axis than I need already and would like to convert the sliders and dials from axis' into encoders or button pushes, anyone have a solution or tutorial for joystick gremlin or joytokey for that process? I know how to do this from within virpils software but can't sort it out in the other programs. Pic of my setup for attention/accolades.

have you been reinstalling your shaders after each dcs update?

In a lot of campaigns you need to press space to progress things, on my setup in vr this is always sort of clumsy, is there a way I could map spacebar to a button on something within dcs? or would this necessitate joytokey/joystickgremlin?

I find the ministick to be wildly oversensitive in most situations (tpods, SU25 laser reticle, etc) I've tried adding curves in DCS which helps a little but I imagine someone with a deeper understanding of the virpil software could maybe share their settings or advice on this issue?

try FPSvr for a more granular look at your fps/frametimes, it's like 3 bucks but it's worth it.
