  1. F-14B vs F-16N with some tips (in the description) :
  2. I have noticed the same delays he has
  3. Im soooo on this
  4. I don't complain about internal sounds. I'd just love a decent fly by.
  5. Not expecting a howl though. The fly by sound is actually not nice nor realistic. Technically speaking it sounds artificial, not real I the way it arrives. Your modul is superior to other in most aspect, yet it is really inferior on this one. If you can improve great. Otherwise we will live. But there is room for improvement for sure. The internal sound is just fine with me. I'm really commenting on the fly by
  6. The external fly by sound is really bad. Hornet and mirage 2000 are 10x better
  7. you can do the same with whatever HAT though
  8. Yessss ! The first link in your post did it !!! Thank you !
  9. ANy solution for this that would pass IC ???
  10. I have it set up like this (the radio switches are set as PUSH TO TALK buttons) :
  11. You don't need to have 5 buttons but only 4... let me explain. Set your radio 1 and radio 2 in srs for PTT buttons. Like the comm1 and comm2 in the hornet. Now. In DCS set DCS special tab for the f-14 as 'open menu : radio menu key followed by PTT' In the controls set it up like this. Pilot : -One of your SRS ptt hotas button is set as 'mic button VHF/UHF2' (for me it's hat right) -One of your SRS ptt hotas button is set as 'mic button UHF1' (for me it's hat left) -One hotas button is set as 'mic ICS button' (for me it's hat up) -One hotas button is set as 'communication menu' (for me it's hat down) Now how does it work... in game your two srs button (hat left and hat right) will control each radios in the F-14 the one that you can set up as a pilot and the one that the RIO can set up. The iCS button (hat up) will control the interphone activation as a push to talk, as long as you set up your ICS as a cold mic in your cockpit (left panel, close to the tacan) . To communicate to the AI via the in game 'communication menu', press hat down, quickly followed by hat left OR hat right (depending if you need UHF or UHF/VHF radio) and that will bring up the communication menu on the top right of your screen. Make sure you are in the correct frequencies for the AI to respond though. To talk to the AI always click HAT DOWN (communication menu) followed by either of your PTT radio buttons (hat left and hat right) Now, as a rio you will use the same hat, set up, except that you won't have the hat right to talk directly in the VHF/UHF radio. Rio : In DCS controls setup up : your hat left to 'mic button UHF' Your hat up to 'mic button ICS' Your hat down to 'communication menu' To talk in ICS use the Hat up (mic button ICS) as a push to talk, and make sure you are in cold mic (left panel, close to the tacan) Now, to talk on the external radio (UHF and UHF2/VHF) you will always use the left hat (mic button UHF) , BUT there is a switch in the cockpit that allows you to select WHICH RADIO you will emit in... UHF1, UHF2/VHF , OR BOTH. That switch is also on the left panel. You can indeed use hot mic on the ICS on both seats but I would advise against it, because as a rio there is a chance that you will constantly emit on the UHF and VHF as well.. Hope, it's more clear. If not, I'll make a video. ps: that's one way to do it. There are other ways. EDIT: added for clarity ->
  12. I can do that tomorrow maybe. works fine here
  13. no luck so far
  14. understood. well, for me at least, google drives fails to zip them to allow DL
  15. very nice. trying to download it wont compress to zip to allow download - wpuld be easier if ZIP's were uploaded
  16. Shame. Modifying the \DCS World\Scripts\Aircrafts\_Common\Cockpit\ViewportHandling.lua to fix this makes me fail integrity check
  17. found solution here https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=129097
  18. I think that allows to change the pages, but not their location on monitor
  19. I'm running a multi monitor setup and my kneepad of course goes to the bottom right corner of the full resolution. Which is below one of my thrustmaster mfd. Is it possible to change the location of the kneepad on screen >?
  20. I would say your curve is too high.. while it helps you with small input it makes the curve to steep at half inputs. I would not go above 25 30 max no matter the size of the stick
  21. Bump
  22. lets say I join someone online as a RIO. How do I talk to my pilot through SRS ?
  23. I was not talking about the ER.. I was talking about the R... and I was wondering why the Russian playing guys complaining about the AIM-54 exagerations, were never concerned about the R-27R exagerations (fox 1 being a fox 3..... talk about fictional...) about your comments on the R-27ER being underrated in the game... LoL… well, have you seen SU-27s outrun AIm-120Cs when shot at 4nm ? lets be serious here... I am all for bugs being fixed.. yet Im just laughing my ass of when someone who uses to fly SU-27s talks about 'fictional' stuff... edit: buddy spike banned the phoenix yet they are fine with the R-27s ? lol...
  24. wrong. I have tracks on buddy spike Caucasus where the R-27Rs keep tracking me long after I killed the shooter
  25. if that's the case, it needs to be corrected. now, I have seen R-27Rs keep tracking my F/A18 despite the launcher plane being shot down for at least 10sec... will you complain about that as well ?
