I found it somewhere and it used to work, but since latest uodate I lost it and now I cannot find it anymore help talking about the master arm

Basically this is what i need, but for the master arm : this one is the special for joystick command for the probe I tried devising my own for the master arm, but it doesnt work. Damnit, Im sure I found it on this forum originally

Now I remember, it was a line of code to add in the 'Special for Joystick' Category. Master arm is absent there from default

Ok, I found the file : \Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\FA-18C\Input\FA-18C\keyboard\default.lua now to edit it with the correct line. Damn I I cannot find that line again

nah, can't find it there. where is stored the files with all available key input for the F/A-18C ? thats the file I modified, but I cannot even find it. look, the refueling probe key, works as intended... flip the switch up and it extract. flip the switch down and it extracts. the Master Arm doesnt work that day.. when you flip the switch up, it goes ARM, but when you flip the switch down nothing happens. You need another complete cycle of the switch to go master arm OFF it's that file that I need to modify. But damn I cannot even find it anymore. any idea where it is ?

Thanks, Not looking for a target script. I don't want to program anything in target. I used switches as direct x imput. It was a modification of the D.C.s file that added a new control in the D.C.s control menu that made the switch go up and down in conjunction with the switch on the warthog- It was actually a line of code.

After last update I lost one of my control. I had found on this forum a line of code to have a master arm toggle that would work in direct X with my warthog. Cannot find it anymore.. basically moving the switch up would switch master arm on on and it would stay so until the switch was brought back, and then master arm OFF... Somebody has it ?

I have a Nvidia Gef1080ti and im curently running drivers 388.31.. should I update ?`I am always hesitating to update when everything is running smooth. Should I expect improvements with later drivers ? What drivers are you using right now ? Thjanks a lot !

I don't get your point. I am not comparing my two videos/ I was talking about the sens of speed in D.C.S At equal fov it isn't all that bad. Simply compare my second video to the real break video on the first page of this thread. The sense of speed isn't that much different. Clearly the lower you go, the more sense of speed you get/ but in my second video I sdopted the same speed and altitude as the real video to compare them

I think you are wrong. it has all to do with field of view. My bad for not understanding you wanted to see an exact comparison. Here is a quick reproduction attempt of the Sierra Hotel break (600kts, 600ft ASL - but I made it too wide especially the second part) pictured in the video, with an angle as close as possible to said video, on my wide screen. In reality, the real video is taken with an even wider angle, but that was the max that DCS allowed me. As you can see the speed perception is quite similar. Don't you agree ?

its because you don't have peripherical vision... look how fast it looks at 600kts on my widescreen...

VR is cool. I have it too. But having a real cockpit, being able to interact with real MFD's etc is great as well. Id be glad to use this just for the ICP
