Rovaniemi is now available. First post updated. I would appreciate some feedback regarding the performance as I needed to scale down number of used assets a little bit due to FPS drops.

Monchegorsk just showed up in the DCS User Files. Link in the first post. Now back to Rovaniemi - this will be a huge one combining both civilian and military traffic.

Glad to see you make it work because I've run out of ideas on my side Still, rather unusual situation. I've uploaded the Monchegorsk to the DCS User Files yesterday and the pack contains both .miz and .stm file so hopefully it will be easier to troubleshoot such issues in the future. Now back to Rovaniemi...

Some of the stuff under the shelter (Maverick boxes, blue carts with HARMs and AIM-9's) is from the VPC pack. I have a question about the lights though. Never noticed them - are they a part of the Massun's pack?- 523 replies

I can do that but it won't change anything - if you don't have the required mods it won't work anyway and you won't be able to get it work from DCS mission editor level. Been there, done that. All the templates have the links to the required mods, I will add information about the mod version though as this was identified as a problem for CAM. My bad. In one occasion someone downloaded wrong mod from the Civilian Asset Pack as the vehicles I was using were not in the main pack but under older mods.

Severomorsk-1 is now available. First post updated. Working on Monchegorsk now.

Usually such situation means that you don't have all the necessary mods. Severomorsk-3 uses only 4 asset packs: - SAM Sites Asset Pack - VPC Object by voc & virpil.com - Massun92-Assetpack - Military Aircraft Mod VPC may need some tweaking to get it working and Massun92's pack was updated recently. Maybe that's the case. Can you do the troubleshooting using the guidance from this thread?

Olenegorsk Air Base static template was uploaded to DCS User Files earlier today. Updated first post with direct link. Work is progressing on Severomorsk-1 which should be released by Wednesday. I'm also working on some fixes and/or improvements for Severomorsk-3 to make it more user friendly.

Any specific airfield you are talking about? I know I might have gone too far with Severomorsk-3 but still there is a lot of parking spots available on the southern side. On Kemi Tornio there is a good parking spot under the canopy on the south east side of the runway that should work for everything but A10 and F14 - no dedicated parking spot there though. To place A/C there you need to set the skill to Player or Client and set type to "Takeoff from ground". Bas-100 has at least two spots available. Most likely I will go back and redo it at some point. Also, some parking places are available in Murmansk but the location of some of them is off in relation to the ground markings. I can already say it should be much better in Severomorsk-1. Right now it seems that most of the parking spots are misplaced which makes it a bit difficult if I want to mix static aircraft with the actual parking spots available for players but I assume it will be an easy fix for Orbx and I plan to update the templates accordingly once it will happen.

Can someone confirm if the Ram 2500 was removed from ver 3.0 or it's just my DCS acting weird? EDIT: Figured it out - per the documentation it was removed due to copyright reasons.- 523 replies

Unexpected plot twist - actually it turns out that it is possible to check what mods are required for certain static template. You need to open the *.stm file with the Notepad or any other text editor and after scrolling all the way down to the end of file you will be able to see the list of the required modules. null In my particular case it didn't really help as all the mods listed in the *.stm file were the ones I was currently using so I must dig deeper. Eventually, I managed to identify the issue by cross checking the items in the *.stm file with the items loaded with the static template on DCS side using View Unit List using Unit ID number. As you can see Item no. 22 is missing on the DCS side, but it's still listed in the respective *.stm file. After deleting item 22 I was able to load the template, save the mission and fly it with no issues. The downside is that this item should be considered lost. I assume that item identified as ERO_MHU-141-Hellfire-1 that was part of the SAM Site Asset Pack was renamed or deleted in the most recent version for whatever reason. -

Quick question - is there any simple way to determine what mods are used in certain static template? I have created some for my own personal use that I can load in ME but then I can't save mission or fly mission, which is usually a sign that some mod is missing. Since these are *.smt files I can't use DCSNoMissionRequirements as it's only for *.miz files.
