  1. Ok problem seems to be related to something in the Gamblers campaign as I tried MGRS with a JTAC in a small mission and it worked. I will report the issue in the Gambler campaign bug section of the forum. Thanks for all the helpful suggestions.
  2. Thanks for replying. The Gamblers mission 13 is an air start - so everything should be aligned. Did check CZ as that one has caught me before. It would be obvious to many f16 pilots if MGRS conversion had a problem - The fact that other people are not complaining means probably I am doing something wrong. I will check on small mission on one of the other maps to sees if it replicates. Thanks
  3. Been flying Gamblers campaign again this weekend, and experiencing problems in setting up MGRS waypoints on 21-25 from JTAC. I can set up the MGRS waypoint, but when I look at where the waypoint dot for the coordinate appears on the HSD it is around 25 NM off. Cross-checking using the mouse pointer, coordinates and the F10 map it appears like the MGRS converts in the F16 to the incorrect Lat/Long coordinates. If I convert the MGRS myself to Lat/Long, and enter it manually as Lat/Long into ICP, it shows up in the correct place. I tried this multiple times in mission 13 of Gamblers campaign and every time the same thing happens. I don't see any bug reports about this - am I doing something wrong? Thanks
  4. Been flying the campaign pretty much without hiccups until mission 10. I flew the mission 4 times, and each time the same bug appears. I removed all my mods and did a deep DCS repair, but still the same problem. I basically get to the point where weasel flight is asked to attack the final (I think final because my wingman and I are have one missle/bomb each by this stage) AAA gun parked in the triangle forest. Whether I destroy it or my wingman does, does not change what happens next. Vader acknoledges the AAA kill, and orders HAWG flight to resume their attack. HAWG 33 then drops some bombs that hit, and then HAWG flight stops attacking completely. It is as if the trigger for HAWG34 (or other HAWG flight members) to also attack never triggers. I checked with f6 view and all of HAWG flight still have CBUs, and there are still lots of targets. Anybody else have this problem? I am on latest DCS version as at 28 July 2024.
  5. Not sure if this is related, but I also experienced challenges dropping cbu-97's in CCIP from F16 after latest patch. Both in sticky releases (won't drop on valid cue) and dropping long. This was from an airstart CBU training mission. Then I noticed that the SMS page listed the BA as 4919 ft and timing as 0.12 seconds. That seemed odd. What seemed even stranger was that I could not edit the fusing options in the plane at all. It would ignore any changes to the fusing parameters made in the cockpit. So I opened the mission in the ME, manually edited the fusing options in the ME to what I wanted, saved the mission and ran it again. Voila problem solved. Consistent drops now and in general area of aimpoint (allowing for a bit of wind drift). So there seems to be an issue with older airstart missions with CBU's that can only be fixed by editing your fusing options in the loadout screen in the ME.
  6. Hi Not sure if something has changed here recently - been flying helos for a few months and no F16. In attached track I am easily able to designate the SA8 emitter with the HAD and HTS, find it with the TGP, and then engage it. But when I try to do the same with the FC radar, the HAD refuses designation of the emitter. I have tried this single mission multiple times - sometimes I can designate the FC radar once after engaging the sa8, and then the problem appears. It does appear that the HAD momentarily cues the TGP to the area of the emitter, as I eventually spot the emitter in the TGP. But I am never able to fully designate the FC radar and get the rectangular box around it. Am I missing something, or is this some strange bug? Thanks CJ Unable to designate targets on HAD.trk
  7. Hi I have seen this mentioned in another thread, but have not seen it reported as a bug yet. Since Wed's patch (21 July) and still after the 23 July patch the problem persists. This happens every time for me with AI hornets with any reasonable weapons loadout. AI pulls ridiculous alpha straight off the carrier and basically slowly descends into the water and crashes Track attached.AI crashing on carrier take-off high alpha.trk Tx
