  1. Nice. Thanks for the whole written summary. I purchased two MSFFB2 Sticks for arround 20$ a month ago and eager to start my own build. This gives me another sweet starting point. The Thrustmaster F-16 stick is all plastic, right? I would really like to use my warthog stick for my build because of the feel, but I'm pretty sure it will be to heavy. :( And I have no clue how the wiring is done inside the handle. But again, thanks :)
  2. Rich informed me on Monday that my collective would be finished on Tuesdays and shipped by the end of week. Getting excited :)
  3. Thanks for the video. Looking good. Waiting for my UH-1 Collective. Should have been finished in September, but than moved to early October... Did anybody talk to him in the last few days? Still waiting for another reply from him... again. Can't wait.
  4. Are there any news about the F-16 styled screw-on toe brakes? Realy waiting for them since I got my MFG Crosswind :D Thanks
  5. Or just take the next computer which lays arround and run the firmware update on there (USB2.0 only, not 3.0). Got my stick back into the game.
  6. Looking good rich. Looking forward to mine :) Best Regards Mike
  7. When my TrackIR started to fail (broken wires or failure of the LED's) I took the whole damn thing apart. I only reused the plastic case, took some 3mm IR LED's I had laying arround, some wire, a resistor, some paracord (for the sleeve) and made a nice looking TrackClip Pro. But I removed the Headset clamp, because it didnt fit my new Beyerdynamics DT-880 Headphones. Instead I used cable ties to fix the TrackClip to my removable ModMic 4. Its great. I can remove the Trackclip when its not in use. Its durable, since one of the most fragile parts was just cut away.
  8. Yes, it does make sense. Sounds fantastic. I assume since it works indipended of the game, that this whole function is done by a electronic circuit which controls this? Will this base replace the old base for your cyclics or will they also need new cyclic-stick because of the new FTR-Button? Any estimated prices on those new force trim base mounts?
  9. This sounds interesting. Can you explain a bit more how this is going to work?
  10. I have my MFG's since 2 weeks and I'm more than happy. I waited two months also and it was worth it! Since you still have a somewhat working set of pedals, I would recommend to just preorder it.:pilotfly:
  11. Milan wrote: ALL new MFG Crosswind pedals **will ship with new electronics *- starting this week. As long as yours are not allready finished you should get 2.0.
  12. Ran out of patience yesterday waiting for the email, I just called the swiss hotline. After 15 min of waiting, I finally got connected to one of the support guys. He told me there was probably a problem and I have to send the Base of the joystick (and maybe the Grip) to Thrustmaster for repair or more likely replacement. So I will be out of a warthog for the next couple days / weeks  I tried it on two computers with the official drivers, so there is definitly a problem with the Joystick. But thanks for the inputs! Best regards
  13. Just installed the Drivers and the new Firmwares. But sadly all the buttons still doesnt work... Now I have to wait for Thrustmaster getting back to me... :( :joystick: :helpsmilie: Well, dont really want to open the joystick yet. Wont void my warrenty without guarantee from thrustmaster [Edit] This Topic is probably better moved to the Input and Output section of the Forums... Sorry for that...
  14. There are NO driver included in the TARGET software? Are you sure? There were two requests while TARGET installation to install drivers for two devices?! But I will definitly try in the evening to install the dedicated drivers and update the Firmware of the Stick. Worth a shot. Thank you.
  15. Hey Guys, First of all, this issue is not related to the DCS A-10c Software. More likely a hardware failure of the Joystick. :joystick: Well, yesterday I finally received my new Joystick, the Thrustmaster Warthog... Blown away by the feeling of the whole thing, I started installing the Joystick. Installed first the Software TARGET (for the drivers), rebooted and then plugged the Joystick and the Throttle in. The Throttle works perfectly, the Axis of the Joystick too. But all the buttons of the Joystick are dead except the trigger... This button triggers all Buttons on the Joystick. First I thought, maybe there was a mistake in the key bindings, but they were all right. I jumped into the Windows Game Controller Configuration and taken a look at the Joystick buttons... Same issue out the game too. As soon as you press the Trigger, all the Buttons are "triggered/pressed". Is this a known problem? The Joystick was completly new/sealed from my vendor. I allready sended a support email to Thrustmaster, but from what I heard about the Thrustmaster Support, I thought it would be faster to post here, if its just a minor thing... There isnt a wrong way to connect the base plate and the Joystick, right? :joystick::cry: Or should I just send it back to the vendor and request a new one? Thanks Best regards [Edit] To make sure it wasnt a related to my computer, I tested the Stick on my Laptop with a clean TARGET install and got the same issue.
  16. Good Job. Realy appreciate it. Love to use the Random Button on it, when I have some spare time at work :smartass:. Learning a new thing with every click :book:. I think the DCSWiki.com URL is great. Easy to remember, easy to find on Google and will attract a lot of newbie which seek for more detailed informations. Thanks
  17. Just wanted to say Thank You to RedBaron. The new one, is even better. I couldn't load the profile either (just had empty columns afterwards), so I configured everything manually... Was working fine except the many CTD while doing it (and loosing the settings again :megalol:). Really appreciate your work you have done. Best regards
  18. Hi RedBaron, Good layout and good picture... Will help SimNewbies like me to set up the joystick :) There is a little mistake on P4... The modiefier doest the same as without the modifier ;) Do you mind sharing your profiles? Are you using the Logitech Profiler for anything or is everything in the ingame controls? Thanks :)
