If we are giving advice: I would say, Anytime anyone are experiencing an anomaly related to an aircraft, try other aircrafts (mods and non mods alike) to see if it's an isolated issue. Then, you disable mods and test if more research is required. Lastly, take the issue to the community to see you are experiencing a known issue or not - which in the case above, it is. You have to take a systematic approach to problem solving. Merely disabling mods isn't systematic as you may come to an incorrect concussion or waste time reinstalling the mods again just to test again.

Are there any plans of adding the AIM missile mods to this aircraft... like the AIM-174s -
@NoJoy Thanks for testing! I tried both directions and same issue - F-22A mod and F-15E both AI. Let AI takeoff and land on it's own and see what happens - simple single circuit. Using 07 (landing from the water) they get stuck before they can exit the runway. Using 25 they get stuck as soon as they touch down - then blow up rendering the airbase useless. if you don't have the issue - reinstall the map.

I just made a mission that AI took off from Bodo but they get stuck on the runway when they land. They apply afterburners but still can't move

When they launch they don't hug the treetops until the get to open water, they end up running into trees or terrain. Is this suppose to happen or am I doing something wrong? Using the Kola Map.

So the idea is to not just assume something is broken because someone said so - work the problem and try to figure it out for yourself! The major issue was the combat radius. Tweaking the speed, route and having the bomber start searching before the attack waypoint like your test mission, I got it to launch at max range. It would be cool feature to provide a dynamic fuel amt at every waypoint.

@diego999 It worked - so after more testing it seems the issue is the Kola map. DCS has got the last 0.01 USD from me! Creating new stuff without finished the old stuff. FAIL!

Help making an Tu-22M Anti-Ship Attack

I am trying to make a simple test of an AI Tu-22M takeoff attack a ship and land. I can make the attack happen with an air start but when you add a landing/takeoff task - the aircraft won't attack. Any ideas?

I was wondering if anyone can teach me how to create a mission of a Tu-22M: 1. Take off from Airbase A from a parking spot 2. Attack a ship 3. Land at the same base I have tried but for the life of me, I can't get it to engage the ship. It always seems to not engage the target. It just flies back to base.

For some reason I see two folders: C:\Users\USER_1\Saved Games: 1. DCS 2. DCS.openbeta Is this correct?
