I am not sure if this is a bug or just a config issue. But since the last openbeta patch, I have been missing the text that accompanies the ATC, Ground Crew, AWACS, etc communications that normally is in the top left corner of the screen. Can anyone inform me if this is a bug or config issue? Is there a keyboard command that might have turned this off?

I have the X52 non-pro as well. But I dont own the F14 so I cannot help you out there. I posted my A10, FC3 and F18 profiles in the user downloads area. As for the other sims, I dont fly them as they do not interest me. Whenever you feel up to it, give the software another chance. You have to do alot of work to get it right, but when you do it is rewarding.

Which plane are you flying? If I have a profile for it, I will share it with you. The software isn't that great but if you can get the mode switch working correctly, it opens up alot of extra options for you. Getting it to work should not be a problem. If you are in DCS, you should not have the software window open... at all. This will cause all your keypresses to not be registered by DCS. As you probably have figured out, all the buttons are just shortcuts for keypresses in the game. Make sure that you have a key binding in DCS for every action you make in the software. (ie: F for flaps down, G for gear up, etc) It takes a while to get it right. I have made logi profiles for the F18, A10-CII, FC3 aircraft and F16 is a WIP. Dont get frustrated by this as it makes you mad all the time.

I just updated DCS Open Beta to the latest version. Since that time I cannot launch Viacom Pro. When I use the shortcut the icon just blinks in the taskbar and disappears. I have uninstalled VIACOM Pro and VA, deleted all VIACOM folders in the game and the export.lua. Reinstalled VA then Viacom and still the same thing. Voiceattack will launch (with administrator) without any problems. Anyone have suggestions?

Renamed and run the repair. I will let you all know if I get another crash. I still haven't put VA or Viacom Pro back in yet.

Lately, I have been getting frequent crash to desktop. Sometimes the DCS crash reporter is there, sometimes it isnt. The only thing that has changed on my system since last stable in the A-10C module added. I have attached 2 of the log zip files and 2 that the crash reporter didnt come on. For me this happens alot in Multiplayer or using the Liberation Campaign (lots of aircraft). Single player never had an issue

You can try request to take off (\ - F8 - F7). If that doesnt work, sometimes if there is someone on CAT 4 or CAT 2 that will prevent the crew from doing anything. If you are alone on the carrier, I would not have an answer of why they wont respond to your actions.

A-6 Intruder, Eurofighter and Typhoon (which is actually the same plane, the Eurofighter Typhoon) are done by Heatblur, so check them out. South Atlantic Map is done by RAZBAM, so check them out. F4-E is a mod and not an official module. F-1 is done by AvioDev, so go to their page.

what is your driver version? is it running the recommended or optional version? when was the last time you updated your video drivers? Check your windows updates and when was the last quality or feature updated installed? Did this occur after the latest DCS Open Beta patch or are you running the stable version? Troubleshooting FPS is a very very hard thing to do. and I do feel your pain with a 50% decrease in FPS.

This is no different from the launch of Win11. It has hurt AMD performance right out of the gate. The question is, is it AMD drivers that are fault (usually is) or is it MS code?

I do not believe that the datalink would share the ships on the SA. I have watched a couple different vids on SA and neither of them mentioned sea targets.

He has mentioned there isn't support coming for IOS at this time. As TAIPAN_ said just above your post is get a cheap Android 7" tablet. Sometimes these can run from $50 - $100 and run it off of there. I run my app on Samsung Galaxy Tab E that i bought my kids 4 years ago.

I know in their 2021 roadmap they were aiming for Q4. I sure hope so as that would be a great addition to multiplayer groups

I think the biggest thing about the graphics in the video is that it is running 4K @ 60FPS. You need to make sure your monitor and video card can handle that.

For 2 monitors, i would not suggest a 3960x1080 view. Your monitor bezel will be right down the middle of your HUD, which is kind of important. There are screen options in DCS that you can set one monitor to your view and 2nd to an MFD. Otherwise I would just use the 2nd monitor as information. I run 3 monitors @ 5760x1080 and use it as a single screen (option in DCS) and a head tracker. Here is a screenshot of my view in game.

This change has fixed the issue. I am going to keep a backup of this file just incase I have to do a reinstall again. I will, also, redownload the Update script from your site. Thanks an huge amount for the help again.

Yeah I had downloaded a program from Winwing that a teammate said that worked well. It didnt. So I have cleared that out and still the same issue. Here is my entire scripts folder under my saved games. Scripts.rar

I am having issues. I am not sending or receiving data to the app. I have confirmed my PC IP address and 2 device IP's (all 3 are static). I have confirmed that the firewall items are entered. Even when I turn off my firewall I still have no connection. I have attached my config.lua and export.lua to see if anyone can help. I have used the script auto configurator and everything is green on that. Config.lua Export.lua

More than likely it was due to date/time out of sync. this is the reason for just about all of these errors
