Yup, Avast did complain that dll file and I have to put it in the exception list -
F14 not authorized / antivirus / false positive

It is interesting now because I also use Avast, and When Avast is running then defender is turned off. Let me run Avast with targeting on the DCS world directory. PS: I do have F-14. -

Is it possible to exclude "E:\DCS world" from AV or defender then repair it again? -
Hi @Special K, thanks for the explanation. Another dumb question: should I assign P-Cores with dcs.exe by using the process affinity so that render/common cores will land on P-cores (hope)? There is my dcs.log: dcs.log

A quick question about core parking disabling on Windows 11: does it mean dcs.exe run on P and E cores with no restriction for the render cores (or, okay with the common cores. My understanding the IO cores should be in E-cores)? Thanks.

Thanks for all comments. My goal is to maintain that DCS runs 60 FPS (hope I am not greedy) constantly. I have tried Process Lasso/ParkControl to unpark all my cores and all P-core affinity is with DCS on my current system, and I still feel lagging somehow. A better hardware environment maybe relief the resource usages.

Hi, To make DCS runs smoothly without disabling/relaxing (not extreme) DCS settings, I have few questions? 1. Get good/excellent GPU is most important? (i.e. RTX5090, or AMD 9070XT) 2. Get more CPU cores (for Intel, more P-Cores as possible) are important even though having the good/excellent GPU? Or, not critical since the good/excellent GPU will take the most UI rendering? Thanks.

some sort of penalty for over-stressing the airframe and for landing over-weight So, the above wording is okay for entering our wish list section or any suggestion? Thanks. -
ACM and Boresight modes with the Phoenix
scommander2 replied to Monkman911's topic in DCS: F-14A & B
Yup, BRSIT with the WCS lock and we can break the lock after firing. It is "truly fire and forgot" according to the HB F-14 manual @ AIM-54 ACM active -

Yes, I made the target in the flood area based on ADL possible according to the HB F-14 manual (Boresight Mode section) according to Tacview. However, it does not mean that I am always lucky to shoot a target. -
