I remembered someone posted it is related to to display and it does not work 2k+... I am not sure that it is a casse that "Alt+Enter" works for someones but does not work with others...

Under the <user login>\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input\<plane>\joystick, there are the device profiles for stick, throttle, etc for the key bindings. And, the file name self contains the device id assoicated with the actual USB connected to PC. Hope I am right.

I guess this video from Youtube will not help because he placed TrackIR at his console right side. He has another video that he puts TrackIR on the center of the top projector screen, but the video is older the link provided above.

I just discovered that if I have the option "Full screen" enabled under setting, "Alt+Tab" is blocked. Not sure this was a case.

I found an intertesting DCS behavior: 1. I have the DCS screen shows on the external display (DCS resolution is the exact the externall display's resolution, no flipMode = false in autoexec.cfg) 2. the edge of the DCS app widget shows on the my primary screen (I just noticed it), and shut DCS down. 3. after apply "flipMode = false" in autoexec.cfg, launch DCS again with applied "Alt+Enter" The edge of widget is gone, and I am wondering that the now DCS app is running "full-screen". Thanks.

I have tesed the workaround and it seems to work with the old mode. As @silverdevil provided (thanks a lots!!), I provided the thread for how to create autoexec.cfg with the inserts what BIGNEWY provides. closing this thread for now.
