  1. Thanks... I found: I have added: dx11backend = { flipMode = false, } Yes, "Alt+Enter" works again.
  2. @BIGNEWY Where is the location of the file "autoexec.cfg"? Thanks.
  3. Is it a beta release?
  4. Running multi-threading and assigned the dedicate cores? Just wondering.... Thanks.
  5. Do what TOPGUN do when meeting Mig 29s first time.... haha...
  6. Can it be the plane still knees down? Or where the plane parks around 4 wires?
  7. Interesting... that is why I am keeping mentioning that ED team remove the feature to gain what... the removal of this feature should not cause any issue to whom plays DCS on the main display.
  8. Thanks, my issue was trying to run DCS on the 2nd external display with the docking station.
  9. Right, I am not sure why the removal is related to the DCS performance. The only thing I can think about is that when objects are being rendered without recaluating since the DCS app is at the fulll screen mode. I guess... ED team did not provide me the details why they did it.
  10. My question is that the removal does help the perforamce in the DCS world overall. I agree that the retriction is to control the resource and try not to repaint the graphic due to resize the application window and recaluate the objects inside the application window (i.e. buttons, switches... etc)....
  11. Since the change log from the 30348 Open Beta, there was no entry about why "Alt+Enter" was removed. According to my ED ticket and ED support team responds: I thought that ED removed it because of VR, and I guess not....
  12. Yes, I am 100% agree with that it is a windows feature. However, the application may ignore the "Alt+Enter" event to allow Windows performs the default behavior, or the application can catch the event to do something and overrie the default beahavior for the application self handling... I think....
  13. Wow, cool and thanks for Youtube.
  14. Thanks for links and provide the update from my ticket from ED: "Alt+Tab" is mentioned in @silverdevil links... To me, it is just how to select an background app to the front screen.... Correct me if I am wrong...
  15. Do another test, I will not never click "full-screen" checkbox again because it will force Windows to be full-screen and make changes for other app windoe sizes also
  16. There is my test result, and it is intertested to me. 1. set my 1920 as primary first and 3840 as second, and the frequency on 1920 get mess up (ignore it for now).... 2. run the windowized DCS, and it will run a full-screen mode on the primary (since my DCS setting was set 1920x1020, and my DCS setting "full-screen" checkbox is still off). 3. exit DCS 4. switch my 3840 back as primary and 1920 becomes extended. 5. run windowized DCS again, it willl show DCS in full-screen on my 1920 extenal monitor (which is good, but I need to test when I shutdown Windows and boot up again then run DCS if it can stay full-screen on my 1920). I can play DCS again now as long as I have my 1920 connects with my laptop. If I unplug my 1920, my DCS will run in dark somewhere, and I am not sure I can drag it back to my 3840. @Hiobthanks for suggestion, at least it is a tempoary soultion. But, I will contine to work with ED if I can have my "Enter+Alt" back if possible....
  17. Quoted from my ticket: "I am thinking that is it possible to provide an option in the DCS setting to enable/disable the feature "Enter+Alt"? By the default, the "Enter+Alt" feature is disabled and I can turn on it and restart DCS to make the "Enter+Alt" feature to be available after the DCS restart? " Will do ...
  18. @Hiobthanks and no worry. ED also suggested me to set my external monitor as the primary monitor, and I told ED that all apps run on the external monitor are look too big to me and I would like to have them stay with 3840.
  19. Sorry, I mean ED removed "Enter+Alt" function away, "Full screen" checkbox is still in the DCS setting but it is not "Enter+Alt".
  20. Yes, it is correct. Quoted from my ticket: "This feature has been removed to improve the performance of DCS World." I am not sure why ED removed it for? For VR? Not sure.
  21. @Hiob Please correct me if I am wrong: I have set my DCS resolution 1920x1080 to match my external monitor resolution, and I drag and drop my windowized DCS from my main display (3840x2040) to the external monitor and will make a full screen automatically? Thanks.
  22. Based on my testing, it means when we launch DCS and it will become a"full-screen" on the main display (monitor 1 only). If "Full Screen" is unchecked, it becomes the windowized DCS. Based on the ticket response, ED has removed this feature completed for now
  23. @MadMontyA quick question: have you upgraded your DCS yet? My "Enter+Alt" is no longer to work now. Thanks,
