scommander2 replied to scommander2's topic in DCS: F-14A & B
@Zabuzard, thanks for comment and it helps. However.... can we think about something in F-14B(U) for making up in the future? Thanks. -

Added the following item into the "TODO" section: - [ADDED]Provide the same amount of the mouse button bindable options in F-4E for F-14 {https://forum.dcs.world/topic/349953-f-14-ab-feature-follow-up-wish-list-and-beyond/page/11/#findComment-5613460} Hope it covers more mouse button bindable options not just one for today and asks more for tomorrow. -

I would like to wait a bit for if we have no more update for these three wish lists -
Thanks for the suggestion, and I did try the teleport option with no response

To break F-14 flaps is kind easy... and it is a DCS official mod....

Okay, thanks!! With this solution should get my following issue resolved:

How about a new key bind in the supercarrier to release the looping logic for the deck crew manually?
-
Hi @Mav87th, thanks. About that thread, yes, the deck crew was stuck with the same message "Awaiting Wing Fold". However, the pre-condition is to allow for the CV allowed planes to land in either the good or damage condition so that the deck crew should have a logic to direct the damage planes to do the next step. Hope it makes.

Hi, The deck crew asks me to sweep my wings back after I land my F-14 on CV-71 with the broken flaps, and the deck crew stays with the same command forever. Is it possible to release the deck crew so that I can park my plane and shut my engines for repairing? Thanks. ming

Win 11 update is kind quite recently... DCS update was at 2/19, but Nvidia had few releases recently. How about AV?

There is another video capture from the 4YA server. Synopsis: I was trying to take off my F-14B from the airfield "Kransnodar", and I found the issue was occurred in the whole takeoff process. So, I decided to eject, spawned the same plane at the same airfield with the video recording on. 4YA server: Airfield - Krasnodar: Video Link:

Oh... I see... Thanks. So, as long as DCS stays on SSD is fine. .miz can be anywhere...

Hi, I am wondering what the reports from the following two app say before launching DCS: 1. https://github.com/Fadreus/Unpark-CPU 2. https://coderbag.com/programming-c/disable-cpu-core-parking-utility Some apps run behind DCS do change power management sometimes.

Hi @Actium, thanks for the posting. I am wondering that the server loads a mission first time (or, reload when restarting a new game?), and that is where the loading may take time if the mission is stored on HDD. Once the mission is started, can I assume the entire mission is loaded into the server and no longer require accessing HDD? Thanks.

No pressure, please. Good quality is the most

F-14 A/B feature follow-up, wish list and beyond

I am able to confirm that it is an issue about the color filter for HUD with my own test mission. How I test with the following issue: [To Fix] At dawn/dusk it's possible to have the red HUD filter in place when spawning into a mission, even though the lever isn't pulled. 1. set time about 20:45 2. spawn F-14 with hot and the color is shown red for HUD 3. eject, eject, eject 4. hit escape key, then click briefing 5. get inside another F-14 with the normal color (daytime) HUD (sometimes it goes with red and depends on the timing when I click "briefing") PS: I have searched the options for plane in ME, I find nothing for HUD (I am not a ME expert). -

It is a good question, and I am wondering that it is a general case... Hi @JupiterJoe, any input for us? Or, I can create my own test dawn mission for testing.
