bought FC3 modules separately and have no issue accessing them. this seems only for the people who bought flaming cliffs as a package prior to latest update -

I spent the July-October training season as the XO for DCAF's 335th and co-designed the curriculum and training schedule with the leadership team. I have to say I am incredibly proud of the squadron this year, having pushed up the standards they were already exceeding previously. I have spent the last 3 years in DCS looking for the most performative and immersive experiences that virtual milsim groups in the DCS World community can offer, having specifically gone out of my way to develop relationships with other large groups in the search for an elite experience. I can confidently say that DCAF's 335th FS holds the most detailed, comprehensive, and immersive set of curriculum and standards that I have seen from any DCS group in the world. My opinion is that DCAF's greatest strength is in its comprehensive online training library and dedicated instructor cadre. We have made it our business to take the best available information from aircrew manuals and infuse it with context and input taken from an extensively developed subject matter expert (SME) network, rendering material that is both dense in content as well as engaging with bespoke visual supplementation and an involved examination process to reinforce learning development. Our IP crew is not only experienced and well-trained in instruction and teaching techniques, but is also a personable, humble, and approachable crew as well. The virtual 335th Chiefs admin team has specialized in beyond visual range air-to-air combat tactics, having come from an F-14A-135-GR and virtual aggressor background prior to Strike Eagle release. We house ED/HB beta testers, SATAL/SATAC competitors, real world pilots/controllers, former international military service members, and some of the most dedicated military aviation enthusiasts the community has to offer, culminating into a melting pot of knowledge and dedication to the best immersive experience DCS World by Eagle Dynamics has to offer. I am immensely proud of being involved in this project and humbled to observe DCAF in its evolution to up the ante as a premiere experience in the international military simulation community. To provide some visual foundation to the opinions stated above, here are a few examples of the DCAF learning and operations experience taken from bits and pieces of curriculum and past gameplay: (Next Post). -

fixed internally Helmet ACM functionality seems to be incorrect
Brody replied to Arctic Fox's topic in Bugs and Problems
was able to figure out how the bug is working atm. it seems initially you cant get brst acq to work and the HSD shows a wider scan zone than it should be, and the tms up release acquisition wont work no matter how many times you attempt, but if you switch to any other ACM mode and then go BACK to tms up boresight acquisition, then it works, and this is also reflected by the little pencil beam radar scan zone on the hsd (which moves every time you release tms up to that position and stays static until tms released again). you can see this in the track file. so for players an easy workaround the bug in the meantime is to hit dogfight mode and quickly to like, tms right for hud scan for instance, then immediately hit tms up and the new tms up and release mechanic works as intended, however if you go back to bvr scope and move the radar cursor around and adjust the antennae a bit, youre able to replicate the bug when going back into dogfight mode tldr theres something wrong with getting the mode to actually start working initially, fix is toggle acm modes for a quick second, then it works, and im sure this is easy fix on ED side (i hope). all of this demonstrated in the track file F16brstacqbug.trk -

Spent some time over the weekend doing a basic mapping the DCS F-16 Viper maximum buggable ranges against a fighter-sized target. Intention to open discussion about DCS F-16 FCR data with the community and invite others with similar data to share their own. Topics particularly interesting: look-up penalty, low-altitude penalty, static ranges in large areas of radar testing. Please take a look at the full test here (Google Sheets viewer link): https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1pZQJnwurX1wkXZ1NUumATFFQFxkqaRzFYnDsC_GCyGg/edit?usp=sharing Includes Conditions, Methodology, Data, and Graph representation of results (this to focus on) DCS_F16_2D_Color_plot_ver2.ggb

Mach 1.0, Alt 23,900' Shot at 26 and 28 nm, TWS Auto, both trashed Copy-pasta'd .miz but swapped to f15C with AMRAAM, shot as close as I could to same parameters Result is AMRAAM in this case slightly out-performing, and has more energy in the terminal phase. Not a very scientific experiment, but take a look... Tacview-20220127-152132-DCS.zip.acmi Tacview-20220127-150213-DCS-F-14A_IA_PG_BVR.zip.acmi
