  1. The bindings need to be redone since this patch. Polychop divided out the controls as Pilot, Copilot, and Gunner.
  2. Reinstalled BS3 this week and I noticed the Vikhr missle induced frame-rate drop. Did Flappie's track-file and only noticed 1-5 FPS drop. However, when shooting over land at targets, the FPS would go from 58 frames down to 18 frames. Randomly, just once, I was able to get 72 FPS while hovering and 68 FPS firing a Vikhr missile. Attached is the options.lua and dcs.log from Flappie's track-file and I've also provided a log and track-file of my land based test. options.lua 01_Vikhr_Test_Spanueh_dcs.log dcs.log 01_Vikhr_Test_Spanueh.trk
  3. Have a picture for clarification, hopefully this helps. The tick-boxes on the right are for forcing an aircraft or helicopter into civil-aviation mode, for an Aerobatics server for instance. The weapon-station boxes for the Hip have the option to remove the pylons, while also allowing the left and rear gunner positions to be loaded.
  4. The hardpoints can be removed by just choosing remove-pylons on the weapon selection boxes. Can be done in either the Mission Editor or multiplayer within the reaming menu too.
  5. Just tried the quick-fix on Schlomo's post; switching to Flight-Gyroscope from Magnetic-Heading does indeed remove the yaw/bearing oscillation. The only anomaly left that I can see is that the nose always points about 2~3 to the left of the Schkval Target-Marker when Autoturn is being used.
  6. Noticed with the new 2.8 update the Black Shark, when set to automatic turn to target, will oscillate it's bearing to the Shkval gimbal limits and never straight towards the intended target; even Route-Mode doesn't seem to help with the yaw/bearing oscillation problem. 01_Ka-50_Shkval_Autoturn_Test.trk
  7. Here's a couple of examples of my poor shooting skills. Since I still use snapviews, I had to recreate the track-file as a mission-file and then save the replays. 01_F-86F_A-4_Manual_Range_Test.trk 02_F-86F_A-4_Radar_Range_Test.trk
  8. The delay in lock-time is very annoying. Electro-pneumatic in this case refers to two separate systems to enable the weapon. The pneumatic-piston is used for charging the weapon, cocking the bolt back. The electrical-solenoid releases the bolt, to go forward into battery and fire the cartridge. The heating system is to prevent ice build-up inside the gun, at altitude and/or low temperatures. The weapons are an open-bolt design and will have airflow going through them to help keep them cool in heavy use, but ice could jam up the travel of the bolt or the bolt locking surfaces.
  9. Just a small update on the Loop-Crash. With a new computer and my old video card gtx1070 (new card is defective), the crash/freeze does still happen. Both with the mirrors on and off and the results are the same.
  10. I’d be game for a C-130; heck I’d nominate modeling my old bird 63-7814. Pretty much the only E-model that I’ve seen that was never modified: -7 engines, no AR-bucket, dash mounted radar-scope, ashtrays, and wood-cased sextant.
  11. I’ve had this loop-bug happen too; get to the top of a loop and crash. Unfortunately the game crashes so hard there is no track-file or crash-log. Turning the mirrors off seems to fix the problem. I’ll be checking for the bug with a new computer, which is in the mail, this weekend and report back.
