  1. The next thing I plan on doing is the advanced open water. I want to be certified to 100-130 feet. There are some good dives here in Guam that are at that depth and I want to do them. With Nitrox, you can stay down longer. So far my dives range from 32-47 minutes with a 3300-3500psi tank.
  2. I want to do Nitrox also, but with Christmas and 3 birthdays around the corner it's gonna have to wait a few. I plan on doing a few family trips to places I can dive at.
  3. Thanks for sharing your stories, I love reading them. Diving is something that is very different and fun. My wife wants to get certified when I get back home. I might have to retire someone near a good dive site. I'll try to upload some pictures here. I want to dive the SMS and Toki, but probably won't get to do it til after Christmas. I love diving at Gab Gab, I've seen sea turtles on every dive so far and got some good pictures and video. We plan on diving Fish Eye, just not sure when. Every time we drive by there are tons of divers in the water. I didn't think I would get cert at first because during the pool training I had a little bit of a panic attack. I made it through after I surfaced at coughed for a few seconds, got some water in my nose. If I saw that shark I would have pooped my pants. That is one thing I am scared of seeing, but it would be awesome at the same time. My deepest dive so far is about 103 feet....not certified to go past 60 though, but will be getting it though. There wasn't much difference between 60 feet and 100 feet.
  4. I just got certified and so far I love it. Did 2 dives yesterday and going again this weekend. I'm in Guam now, I've been to Gab Gab sand San Luis on big Navy. Going this weekend, not sure where we are going yet. After the new year, we plan on diving the blue hole. I need to get advanced certified so I can go down farther...pass 60 feet. Nice read, I'm scared to death of sharks. My wife is surprised that I actually did it :D. I've seen a few sea turtles and a lot of fish. Might see some Japanese tourist this weekend....lol I have a GoPro and it works great so far. I need to get a red filter so I get all the color.
  5. Anyone here go scuba diving? if so what have you seen, where have you been?
  6. Watching a B-1 take off at night is pretty awesome also.

    KUKY

    Happy Birthday Kuky!
  11. What nice friends, enjoy it!
  12. I just haven't had the time to play over the last 2 years. With family, work and school, finding the time to play is hard. I can't wait til I do have time because the few times I have played have been fun.
  13. We need a DCS F-16 bad, I miss working on them.
  14. Over $7,000 dollars I bet.
  15. I'm overseas as well, actually in the sea on a Island. Wish I had a better laptop also, but the internet is iffy here, be safe.
  16. It looks nice!

    9-11 Remebrance

I still it like it was yesterday. Got a call from my supervisor saying to get into work ASAP, I was playing a game of dominoes on yahoo when he called. Got to work and we all watched what was going on, while the AMU where getting jets ready for alert. About a year after that we deployed to Guam with 6 F-16's 2 on alert at all times, pilots slept about 200 feet from the jets. They did 2 alert practices a day. Now I've been to Guam 3 times, I've spent roughly about 14 months here.
  18. Make your own, that's what I did and it's cheap.
  19. .
  20. One day, one day...
  21. Rubberband gun, paintball gun nerf gun but 9mm and .45 works best, they won't mess with it again.
  22. Maybe I'll buy a 4k when I get back from Guam.
  23. If it were to be made people would buy it...look at the F-86 and Mig-21?
  24. No personal dig taken, I guess sometimes I don't care as much since my flying time has been pretty much zero over the last 24 months. I can say to people wait and see what happens. I do remember when I flew weekly....I wanted things fixed and added also. The visual thing has been an issue way before DCS/LO/LOMAC same onto the scene. It's hard to see what our eyes can on a monitor. When I was stationed at Luke AFB, I saw F-16 air refueling when I was on the ground, they had to be around 18k feet and they were miles away. It'll be hard to see that on our monitors. Just like the lines some people use in their pits to tell them which way is which and the speedbrake sound. We can feel and see in the real jet, harder to do that here.
