Yep and that's why I said that....because I noticed no difference between the two pedals I have owned and used. I have not had a problem with them and their function to me doesn't justify my spending $400. Someone could say the same thing with spending $172 for the Saitek pedals, it's all up to the user and what they want to do. I have used X45, CH, unmodded cougars, uber modded cougar sticks and the warthog is by far the best one out of them all hands down. Maybe the MFG pedals are the same way. For what I do, what I have works great, no complaints from me. The only reason I sold my CH stuff is because I had them for years and acquired a modded cougar and warthog. So I figured it was time for a change and the Saitek pedals allowed for a few better things then what CH offered. It's just like buying a car, some people might not noticed a small difference in the power and others will. Whatever the OP decides to get I hope they work great for him.

They don't have to be that precise, I have flown DCS BS with both CH and Saitek and the movement is the same....at least to me. But it all depends on how much the person wants to spend.

Depends on how much you are willing to spend. I had CH pedals for years and never had a problem. I recently bought Saitek Combat Pedals and haven't had a problem either. The CH cost me $100, Saitek cost me $172, I'm not going to spend $400 on MFG Crosswind pedals when a ones under $200 dollars work just fine, heck the CH ones worked great. Both CH and Saitek pedals are precise to me and the only real difference is the width and with the saitek you can change the angle of the pedal.

I find it fun, but I just started playing the other day. This is a game that I can actually play at night when the wife is sleep.....my computer is in the bedroom. She doesn't like it when the room is lite up like daytime from a 40" LED and I can't even talk to people on teamspeak. I've been killed twice by bandits and killed on person which I felt bad. I've played Arma for a few years off and on. I've heard mixed feelings on the standalone and mod, so as of now I'm playing the mod because it's free.

Anyone in here play DayZ? I downloaded it the other day and it's pretty addicting.

^ That's a great idea, I've read a lot of books about fighter jets and that is the best thing you can do. Keep good notes and a journal and pictures if you have them, they look good in books, gives the reader that extra insight!

2.2G's is not much, like you said maybe it's different in a heli. I'm sure you have fun flying that beast!

It's not hard to sneak a a camera in the pit, wish I would took some video when I got my 16 ride, but you don't think of things like that. This is going to be a popular thread. Right now the shark is what I fly most of the time in DCS.

No matter what, one side will cry about the missiles and both sides have valid points, it's a never-ending battle.

When jets over g, at least with the F-16 a bunch of panels have to be removed for inspections.

Been working on aircraft fuel systems for the past 15 years. Worked on A-10's for 6 years, F-16's for 12 years and B-62's for the past 3 years. Stationed in Alaska, Arizona and Louisiana. Been to a bunch of different places TDY and deployed like Guam (twice) Nevada, Georgia, California and Oregon to name a few.
