Thank you, but is there an easy option than all this button pushing nonsense thingy ? I don't have time to read the manual or anything just the key that says 'gear up'..seems straight forward to me. By all means let people have an option to press as many buttons as they like to raise a simulated rivet but I don't have time to press this and that before this and that happens. I just like to pretend and enjoy simulated flight...not too much to ask a casual flight sim player...or is it ? Mizzy

As the title says, every time I take off the gears won't go up. I have assigned the key to G, no matter what, the gears won't go up !! Mizzy

Best era for aircraft for me was the 50s 60s as that saw the biggest technological break through's. Also the jets had lots of character...just my opinion. Mizzy

Is there anyone interested in the F105 Thud ? F105 Thud and 'Thud Ridge' is a flight sim dream, I am just wondering if there is a market for this huge fighter/bomber ? The Vietnam war saw many pilots lose their lives flying this aircraft on bombing missions and 'wild weasel' sortie's. Certainly plenty of variation in missions for those who like to fight. Mizzy

I am dusting down my old Paintshop software and doing some art for this Sabre and Mig15. They look like they need a bit of feminine care. I was brought up with the 50s and 60s (I am not quite 50 yet !!) jets by my father whom sparked a life long fascination of jets and their awesome sound and power. The airshows in the late 60s made me feel spell bound... Have you ever seen an English Electric Lightning take off ???...nuff said. This Sabre is BRILLIANT. I can't fly it very well but who cares. My favorite aircraft are from the 50s and 60s and I cannot wait for the F86. This is a BIG step in the right direction for me, seeing these old classics being reproduced for DCS..My dream is that someone will recreate the Blackburn Buccaneer, the F4 Phantom, the F104 Widow maker and F105 Thud. It's a dream I know because the time it takes to develop these masterpieces of historic air frames, I will be booking my retirement care home !! Mizzy

I am patient but not even a new model of the mig29 after all these years and it's been flyable from the start. Even the Tornado has had a new model even though the fuel tanks are from the original Lockon !! Mizzy

Thank you for the replies, I am sure as time progresses DCS will want to capture the market for Civilian and casual players who don't actually fight like me. And I am sure this will in no way affect the multiplayer fighting people. But since DCS is a combat thing, that's where their priorities will stay. Mizzy
