Hello JEFZ, Tflash and all our small but great community here. Sorry I meant the Mig 29. I have all ED's simulators since Flanker and my partner Mark has just bought me Black Skark 2. I just cannot get my head around all the push button stuff, plus the fact (and it is not commonly known) but I don't do any fighting in the simulators, I use them for flight and populate the place with aircraft going to and from destinations in the sim world and my passion is for military airframes. I like it much more than MS FSX or anything like that. So the real aspect of how good these single study aircraft are in DCS is pretty well lost on me ;-) I like pretty graphics and a realistic flight model as in the A10, Su25/t and to a less degree the Ka 50. Anyway, that's where I come from in my enjoyment of ED's simulations. Mizzy

Personally speaking I much prefer the variety of Lock on to the A10 and Black Shark thingy clicky mousey button stuff. So with all due respect I shall be shutting down all my flighty simmy thingy stuff until I can fly the Su27 (which is why I liked ED sims in the first place) The A10 light realism, The wonderful Mig 27 ...etc etc. :-) Mizzy

The canopy scratches won't fix the missing external canopy. All the scratches do is look scratchy inside the cockpit but thanks for reply. It's a conflict with one of my mods, I was hoping someone else has had the same problem and knew how to fix it! Mizzy

I installed the simod A10, Su27 and F15 package and now I have lost the canopy glass and sensor glass on the Tornado :( Attached is what it looks like, anyone know a fix? Thank you in advance. Mizzy

Can I try formation flying with you Blade? I have some skill in flying but never played online so i don't know how to play online. I have a head set and a broadband connection and would like to speak and play with such skilled pilots. This really interests me. PM me or email. Mizzy

Err..yeah ok :) so its not possible for ED to put in another flyable airplane, well I quite understand it's a complex business and I can live with it. Happy flying, combating or whatever you like to do, enjoy. Mizzy

VERY IMPRESSIVE!

I have lost them all with a external hard drive turning out to be faulty. If anyone has them, could they upload them somewhere please. Also if anyone has my Mig25 skins, it would be appreciated to have them. Mizzy :(

Who am I to criticise anyone" I am not asking anyone to be less aggressive or more aggressive or play with their joysticks in a certain fashion. Read what I said, I don't care how other people like to play their flight simulations that is up the the individual just as it is up to me how I want to use EDs products. As for playing Doom or the like, no I have never played these types of games, they hold no interest for me. They are aimed at adolecent boys and I don't fit that description. Aplologies lads and lasses, I probably have made too much of an issue of my non combat interest in simulated flying! I have no issue with people enjoying their flight simulations in whatever concept they like to play them. Who am I to criticise anyone ;) I believe that ED has created the best flight sims ever, that is just my opinion. It just happens to be military orientated and that is also where my interest is. No big deal surely how we all appreciate individually a wonderful product of flight simulation. Yes I have tried Xplane but it is not as good as flying the Su25 or A10 that ED have produced and also the environments that ED create in their maps are just second to nobody. OT: I remember flying Flanker many years back and thinking, wow I like this! It's a shame that many of the old ED team are long gone now, but as a Company their values have remained the same. We should be very proud of ED/TFC to stay with us and believe there still is a market for what they specialise in, so small as it is. I am surprised they (ED) are still willing to produce such high demanding flight (combat) simulations for such a small audience although I understand that their talents benefit military markets as well. Hello there Musty :) I had no time to spare the team so I had to tell Matt to remove me as it was wasting EDs time having me as a passenger! Well, for the other posts, I did say it was a waste of time asking but I could not help but to ask ;) I have FSX 2004, Falcon 4, SF, Flaming Cliff 1and 2 Lock on 1.02, Flanker 1.5 and Flanker 2, Black Shark, Janes USAF, Janes F18, IL2 (all of them) and WOE. Oh I also have EAW and EDs A10. Eh hem...now then....all I do with them all is just fly around not because I can't work out how to fight (although the ED simulations are hard for me as with Falcon 4) it is against my beliefs to kill anyone either in reality or in cyber space. I just have a facination for aircraft and in particular military aircraft. I have done mods or artwork for most simulations out there and incidently FSX doesn't come close to EDs flight simulation, nor does Falcon 4 so that is why I play EDs simulations when I get time, which is'nt much these days. I know, I am probably the only one who does not fight in EDs simulations but use it as a wonderful flight simulator......anyway is it at all possible to have another flyable aircraft in the final release like the L-39 or the Su25? I can't fly the Black Shark helecopter, its too hard and the A10 is nice but I will miss another aircraft to fly in the new ED direction of one aircraft per module and the timescales. I am getting old and impatient ;) Anyway, it's just a waste of post space I am sure but I still had to ask. Mizzy

Brum All you have to do is right click your mouse over the attached image and save it somewhere. Then put the saved image in your temp textures folder. The image is only 8/256 colour but I reduced the size using 'Bright' so you can't tell the difference from the original colour depth (24/16). I think LO converts the image to the resolution of the game but not sure. It works anyway ;) Mizzy

There was a great variety of Mig 25 camos around the worlds airforce that used Mig 25s. Mine is based on this little chap attached. I have aready done schemes that are soviet military standard. This one is quite a sad scheme of a old (but never beaten and noble) Mig 25, the 'watcher of the skys' as my Grandfather used to say :) A great aircraft, wish we did have a new model of it in Lock on. Maybe in the future, who knows! Mizzy
